  1. You can't just throw out the stats and compare the 2, apples to oranges IMO. JFF only threw 7 attempts against a starting caliber defense. He was 2 for 7, so not exactly setting the world on fire. His 1 TD was a shoval pass, against 3rd stringers, where the RB did all the work.
  2. Was that Marcel that flattened a few people?
  3. The Corey Graham signing looks better and better...
  4. Every other reporter acknowledges that the Bills are running the scout team against the 1st string offense. Mike "Road-dick" can't even identify that and refers to it as the 3rd string defense, which I get it, it is, but it almost a back handed comment.
  5. I'm confused is Rodak saying all 17 snaps came against the third defensive unit? Or is he just retarded? Wait I think I know the answer...
  6. I love this quote: <smug look on his face> "I gets words exchange to me every game, through the entirety of them, week after week, game after game." Is that suppose to be an excuse for why you did that JFF? How about, it was immature, or I was immature and can't let things get to me. I'm sorry but he(JFF) has built himself up, so when he plays like crap, he deserves all the "words" he gets, especially when he chooses to be the way he is in public. Welcome to the big league.
  7. I agree. From all accounts they have been working on it in practice quite a bit. All we as fans can hope is that they don't want to show their hand, and have it be on tape.
  8. The only problem with that is, by all accounts, Richardson looks better at RG, so putting him in LG would do nothing. I suppose they could have done the Urbik to LG and Richardson at RG, but it's being reported that that looked bad in practice. So as terrible as he may have been, until Richardson/Kouandjio look better, neither are a solution to the LG problem with C. Williams being out.
  9. Yes, but you aren't allowed to compare the 49ers preseason situation with the Bills preseason situation. It's in the rule book.
  10. Yes but the preseason is ALWAYS an indicator of how the regular season will play out. Or at least it is in the Bills case because the past 14 years the Bills have sucked in the preseason (eventhough they haven't) therefore it's been easy to to tell they would suck in the regular season. /sarcasm (even wrote it in Comic Sans, for extra sarcasm)
  11. The Steelers certainly didn't blitz, they rushed 4 and sometimes 3 and dropped 7 or 8 into coverage.
  12. The problem you have with this game is the Bills just practiced against the Steelers twice. It's like basically playing 2 games then they had a day to digest what they saw in those 2 days/games. By all accounts EJ torched the Steelers on Thursday, which I'm sure they weren't happy with. But we fans didn't get to see that on TV. I know they say no one game plans for pre season, but there is no way the steelers didn't come into Saturday prepared.
  13. Serious question, did you watch any Seahawks games? Russell Willson threw for under 200 yards in 6 games. He only threw over 300 in 2 games. I'm not saying he is a bad player, but I am disagreeing with your statement that if your QB isn't the center of your team then your doomed statement. I'll say it again, Russell Wilson is not the center of the Seahawks team. He is still learning the game. He's able to play the way he does because of his running game and defense. How else can you explain going 8-19 for 142, against the 49ers, a very tough team? Sure I believe at some point he will be able to.
  14. Are you even following the conversation? The poster said Wilson was the reason the Seahawks won the Super Bowl, please enlighten me where the confusion is?
  15. You obviously didn't watch any Seahawks games... I just told you in 6 games Wilsons play wasn't even a factor. He was a game manager, for lack of a better word. Yes he would still have to make the occasional play, but that team is not, I repeat not centered or based around Russell Wilson. EDIT: and btw, just because the team isn't centered around Wilson that doesn't mean he isn't a good player. But he's still learning the game and he's allowed to play the way he does knowing his run game and defense are there. It's that simple really.
  16. Huh? Gee I don't remember Wilson winning the Super Bowl MVP.
  17. Ok. And I'm telling you Russell Wilson is not the central piece to the Seahawks team. It's just not true. Does he make plays? Yes. But the guy passed for under 200 yards 6 times last season and only passed over 300 yards twice. I repeat he is not the central piece for that team.
  18. The defense. Marshawn. Does Wilson still make plays? Of course, but the fact that he can go 8-19 for 142 yards against the 49ers and the Seahawks still win the game should tell you he isn't the center piece.
  19. Most teams with young QBs not named Andrew Luck are like that. Every team with rookie or young QBs wants to eliminate that pressure for them to "win them games".
  20. Did you watch any Seattle games? The were a run heavy team and there defense dominated. Wilson was not the center piece. Just look at the Super Bowl.
  21. Rib injury... Didn't retune to game. Could be just precautionary.
  22. You wanna see a poor pre season game watch the Giants/Colts. Eli Manning 1/6 for 6 yards.
