  1. Does Brady's agent not realize it would have been better for the NFL if the report found the Pats** blameless? Why the hell would the NFL want to railroad Tom Brady?
  2. Unfortunately there is a chance Dareus is suspended for that game.
  3. Yea I agree with everything you posted, he knew what he was doing. Did he ask them to lower the balls below the limit, which would be the crucial information? Unfortunately there isn't any evidence that he asked these guys to specifically go below 12.5 PSI. And maybe that's why he didn't cooperate because that information exists on his phone. Or maybe it doesn't exist at all. Although saying all of that, Goodell is quoted as saying "ignorance isn't an excuse" maybe I'm coming back around to he will get a suspension. Maybe it doesn't matter that he didn't specifically ask them to go below 12.5, he kept pushing them to take air out. Doesn't matter that he didn't know the exact amount or how much these guys were taking out.
  4. I think he'll definitely get something but it'll be more for the not cooperating and lying. Brett Favre got a fine for not handing over his phone. It could be something closer to that. I pray that it's a suspension.
  5. I'm starting to come around to the idea that there will be no suspension for Brady. I hate myself for it. Seeing as there is no evidence of Brady telling them to deflate the balls below the legal limit it's an easy defense for him to now say, "Ok, ok I did ask them to take some air out of the balls but I never asked them to make them below 12.5 PSI" So now all they have on Brady is that he lied and didn't cooperate with the investigation, he gets a fine.
  6. I think I might have changed my mind on whether he sits or not. I don't think he will. I think his defense is easy, "I told them to deflate the balls, I never told them to take them below the legal limit".
  7. @MikeSilver: 'Free The Deflator' -- Matt Chatham and other Pats fans. A proud moment bro https://t.co/ZPMa2buGVB
  8. Michael Silver is going off on Pats** fans on Twitter. This is gold.
  9. I'm with NoSaint on this, it's not a criminal case. If my employer asked for my personnel phone, I'd tell them to take a hike.
  10. It certainly should. He let it go on under his nose just like Peyton did in the eyes of the commissioner.
  11. Because it's not murder, they obviously only ran a red light!
  12. Anyone feel like having a laugh, go check out former Pats** Special Teams "stand out" Matt Chathams Twitter feed... The guy, admitidly, skimmed the report and is defending his former team. Then again he was on a cheating SB team.
  13. I think it's 2 game suspension, with a possiblity of 4. The lying is what's going to get him and Ray Farmers texting got him 4 games.
  14. Then why, when given the chance to explain just that, did Tom Brady get up in front of the national media and lie? Why? He could have easily explained just that. But he didn't. He knew what he had done was wrong.
  15. But how can they possibly give Brady a slap on the wrist? The Pats** themselves, sure. Brady? I think people would have a major problem with that. He lied and didn't co-operate.
  16. It's odd that they concluded that none of the coaching staff had any knowledge... Did they all chuck Brady under the bus or did Brady just fall on the sword?
  17. Yes but science is wrong... Haha. This is gold right now!
  18. @JeremyWGR: The Patriots are blaming the science. Thats usually a good thing to do, if youre a crazy person. Yes Pats, fight science.
  19. So will Brady be suspended? Lied and cheated?
  20. This says it all: "In sum, the data did not provide a basis for us to determine with absolute certainty whether there was or was not tampering as the analysis of such data ultimately is dependent upon assumptions and information that is not certain. However, based on all of the information provided to us, particularly regarding the timing and sequencing of the measurements conducted by the game officials at halftime, and on our testing and analyses, we conclude that within the range of game characteristics most likely to have occurred on Game Day, we have identified no set of credible environmental or physical factors that completely accounts for the additional loss in air pressure exhibited by the Patriots game balls as compared to the loss in air pressure exhibited by the Colts game balls measured during halftime of the AFC Championship Game." 21. That's really where I am at.
  22. While thats true, offensive success hasn't really followed Rex as a HC. He's a defensive guy. I'm hoping he listens to his coaches, namely Roman and doesn't just go with a guy that he likes because he likes him.
  23. I'm not really ready to declare anyone a winner or a favorite yet. They are throwing to receivers being guarded against air without a pass russ. Trent Edwards was the favorite doing the same thing. I know it generates clicks and fans want to know. Rex might like TT's intangibles but I hope he doesn't fall so in love with him that he completely overlooks the bad stuff.
