  1. Well said. The Bills still have only 3 OT on the team... I said it before the draft, OL needs to be a priority from a numbers perspective.
  2. Gilmore is 2 years away from FA... You could draft his replacement next year or hell, the following year.
  3. Seems pretty straight forward to me.
  4. So now they are 2 picks behind and go to commercial?!!
  5. Not really, Bills need some depth at DL and Kyle Williams isn't getting any younger. Also the Bills are drafting in the 2nd, if the Jest drafted a DL in the 2nd it wouldn't have been as odd but they have Wilkerson who's 25 and due a new contract. He was a 1st round draft pick. They have Richardson who's 24 and was a 1st round pick. They also have Harrison. And now they have Williams. If you count Couples, that's a lot of 1st round investment in the DL. It'll be impossible for them to keep them all, Wilkerson seems upset already, and their DL was the strength of the team. I know Williams was easily the BPA and I'm sure the Jest didn't expect him to be there but it seems like the move there was to move down. Bowles is a 3-4 guy with Harrison occupying the NT and you would assume Wilkerson and Richardson still hold their positions, Williams almost becomes a rotational guy. The #6 overall pick on a rotational guy? Just seems odd.
  6. I'm surprised the Browns didn't package those picks and go up and get an elite talent. They passed on an elite talent last year and turned that into a good DL and a replacement player. Crazy.
  7. Even if he's not, it's an odd pick. Strength of the Jest team in 2014: DL. 1st round selection in 2015: DL
  8. He's got a **** eating grin on his face...
  9. But hey the Jest took BPA...
  10. Damn I was going for a similar response... My favorite part is that if you don't have a franchise QB it's a waste to invest in other parts of the offense. The Bills should just be happy with mediocre WRs and TEs.
  11. You brought up your memories of standing in a sports bar, what does that have to do with this doscussion? Oh that's right, nothing.
  12. Wonder if they are hoping to get trade offers
  13. 1. Jameis Winston - Tampa 2. Marcus Mariota - Tennessee 3. Amari Cooper - Jacksonville 4. Todd Gurley - Arizona 5. Brett Hundley - Chicago Bonus - Who the Bills pick? Carl Davis
  14. Good tips. Also using an Oyster card the fares for the underground are at a cheaper rate. Here's some more as I frequent London quite a bit, wife's English. As far as hotels are concerned if your not bothered with having a fancy hotel I suggest looking at Premier Inn. It's a national chain in the UK where every hotel is basically the same, so you know the quality you are getting is good. They do 2 types of bookings, 1 is where you can cancel your reservation any time and tends to be more expensive, it's called Flexible. If you are set in your plans and don't plan on cancelling the room rates are fairly cheap, it's called Saver. I've looked for the weekend of the game and for he one's closet to Wembley it looks like it'll be about $550 for 5 nights. Keep in mind Wembley isn't really near central London but is only a 20 min Tube ride away.If you want to stay closer to central London, the prices of the Premier Inn's will go up a bit. Right now those look around $600 for 5 nights. I tend to find a hotel and then find the nearest Tube station.
  15. I'm conflicted with it, if the Bills choose to draft him with their pick at #50. It feels like a bit of an over draft IMO. They know he needs a good amount of work, considering he was in a 1 read offense where his coaches had to tell him where to go before the snap. It's risky and it sort of goes against the win now mentality that the Bills seem to have. They have holes at OT and need depth along the DL and at LB. I understand he could be the future of the Bills but he just doesn't feel like a Russell WIlson or Colin Kaepernick. Maybe he's an Andy Dalton but what is that really getting you?
  16. That's great that you have those memories but not every move the Pats* have done over the last 15 years has been smart. It's fair to criticize them as they have made some questionable decisions. They don't walk on water. But if that's the way you would like to perceive them because the Bills have been bad, ok then. I mean let's not forget that they were a team prior to 2000 and I have some memories of the Bills absolutely trouncing the Pats* including an 8 year run where the Bills went 11-3 against them and the Bills went to 4 Super Bowls. Meanwhile the Pats* went, 5-11, 1-15, 6-10, 2-14, 5-11 and so on. And you know what, the Bills made mistakes in those years too.
  17. I know teams like to overdraft QB's because of the position but in recent years QB's with questions in their game have dropped. I think Petty, although he's being hyped as the third best QB, will fall. Look who fell last year: Manziel, almost fell out of the first rd, but he fell quite a few spots Bridgewater, to an extent fell quite dramatically considering he was the consensus #1 QB Mettenberger, fell from round 4-5 to round 6 AJ McCarron, fell from round 2 to round 5 Derek Carr, again not a huge fall, a lot had him going in the 1st but ended up in the 2nd.
  18. I remember when the Pats* were smart for signing Ocho Cinco and Albert Haynesworth...
  19. looks like they were rotating the OL today
  20. That's completely possible as well.
