It was a penalty. He was trying to go low.

Yea but they need to shut their mouths. I get that some of the calls are questionable but does yapping really solve that problem? No. Shut up and go play football. Is Mario getting personal fouls? Kyle Williams? No. They seem to be able to keep their cool, yet somehow Jerry Hughes can't shut up and does something stupid, without fail.

Honestly the refs, IMO, didn't effect the outcome of the game they effected my enjoyment of the game. I hate when refs go overboard on the penalties. The Bills shot themselves in the foot A LOT. They gave the Giants more chances. The Bills had a absolutely horrible offensive game plan in the 1st half.

Is this defense just average?
Wayne Cubed replied to Niagara Dude's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Actually the passing defense wasn't that bad versus the Giants. Eli thew for 212 yards on 35 attempts. A lot of the big receivers were shut down. ODB had 38 yards. It was undisciplined football. -
Sammy - Time for this dude to start playing ball.

It was a terrible offensive gameplan. I realize Watkins and McCoy were out but how do you go from such a brilliant gameplan in Miami to this one. -

It's weird because my status on the Ticketmaster website still says "processed", nothing about being dispatched.

Credit where credit is due (Rodak)
Wayne Cubed replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have to imagine most posters have just read the tweet and not the story it's linked to. If they would have read the story, they might have realized Rodak was not talking about their play on the field. -
Credit where credit is due (Rodak)
Wayne Cubed replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not that I want to defend Rodak but that article is more about Ka. Williams and Ronald Darby's questionable personal conduct and off the field issues. He doesn't say that they can't be good players on the field, just questions picking players with those type of problems. In fact, he doesn't talk about their play on the field at all in the article. He could still end up being right about them. Williams and Darby could both make off the field mistakes. Darby I think is the least likely of the two to make a mistake. -

BTW, anyone looking for wings in London should consider The Orange Buffalo. I've heard good things. They are located in Shoreditch, East London, so a bit out of the way but might be the only chance at getting decent wings. I might consider stopping there before heading to the game.

Holy crap I'm going to London for the game!

Right, so a good QB in their model gets zero points for making good reads that allow him to make "easy throws" because he's just expected to do that? And again, they say they don't measure intangibles like pre-snap reads but are assigning a degree difficulty to a throw none of these "analysts" have ever made. It's a bunch of "yea that looked like a simple, easy throw", so that's zero points. Yet a bad QB making that same throw receives a positive grade? What sense does that make? Surely the fact that not every QB can make the "easy throws" should result in a positive for all QBs but I guess that would make it too easy.
-
Degree of difficulty? How the hell would they know? Isn't being able to find "easy throws" a good thing? I believe that's called, reading defenses.
-
Uh, they also gave him a negative mark for a play that technically didn't happen. The play was negated by a penalty but they graded him on it anyways. That's ridiculous.
-
Haha they point to the fumble, which was overturned by a penalty, as a negative play. They have no idea what they are doing, that play doesn't even show up on the official stats because it never happened.

Ian Rapoport @RapSheet In a result obvious for everyone who watched #Packers QB Aaron Rodgers last night, he scored a -2.3 rating from @PFF

LeSean McCoy unlikely to play for Bills vs. Giants
Wayne Cubed replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Do you honestly believe the Giants won't prepare for McCoy based on a vague statement like "unlikely to play"? Or that Rex could possibly be toying with the Giants? This isn't an official announcement, this is speculation. I'm not saying McCoy will play but they wouldn't officially let the opposing team know his actual status. Until he is officially ruled out by the Bills, the Giants will and should prepare for him. They would look foolish if they didn't. Fortunately, the Bills don't have to announce it until Sunday. They haven't announced it, this is speculation. As far as Fred Jackson goes, we need look no further than his current team the Seahawks. With Marshawn Lynch out with an injury Fred Jackson got all of 2 carries and 2 receptions. The Seahawks instead turned to an undrafted rookie, Thomas Rawls. That should tell you a lot on what they and the Bills think of Jackson. -
[closed]Greg Roman is as good as GONE!
Wayne Cubed replied to K D's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This thread again? Roman isn't the only guy in the NFL doing great things on the offensive side of the ball. In fact I would bet he's not even the top of the list at this point. I'd imagine Hue Jackson and Josh McDaniels are both ahead of Roman. And although both their teams have gotten off to slow starts Adam Gase and Darrell Bevel are high up on people's lists too. Let's not forget about Reich either. That's assuming of course if a team wants to go with an offensive guys as HC. There are still defensive guys high up there as well. Realistically, depending on how the season shakes out, I think you'll possibly see coaching vacancies in Jacksonville, Indy, Miami and maybe the NYG. I think Marrone has positioned himself in Jacksonville, purposefully. Also, if this offense very good, to me that means playoff appearances. If that happens Roman might not be able to interview and therefore may get passed up. -
