  1. I thought Italy looked pretty good against Belgium yesterday. I thought Belgium could be a dark horse with all the talent they have. They just don't play as a team. Germany looks like they could be beat. Their defense is questionable but it's a matter of getting the ball from them.
  2. It's her idea in he book to mass produce it for the Battle of Blackwater. Tyrion just thought of how to use it. I don't think they show it as her idea in the show. I remember Bromn and Tyrion visit the pyromancers. But I would imagine Aerys had more hidden within the city when he wants to "burn it all". It also explains why Bran saw that part in his vision as And Cersei knows how to use it. She can't have the pyromancers make it at this point like she did before, so maybe she's searching for it as a weapon?
  3. The reason I say that she has found the wildfire is Brans visions he has of the Mad King Aerys and him telling pyromancers to set up caches of wildfire. They didn't get to set them off obviously because Jamie killed Aerys. I think it's possible that's what she's looking for to use against Tommen. The Mad Queen? Also fits in with Cerseis flashback and prophecy that she'll lose all 3 children.
  4. I think that's where it's heading. Cersei has been investigating something and it wouldn't surprise me if she found the Mad Kings wildfire.
  5. Maybe the way it all ended has put a sour taste in my mouth but I just thought it was all very lazy. The Waif is now some horrible assassin who tries to kill Arya by stabbing her in the gut? And the whole building of he story line, that the Faceless Man is no one. Really hammered that home at the end of last season and where it was going. Then this season it's Arya and the Waif holding some grudge against her. Just not clever and felt really clunky.
  6. That's exactly what I felt. What a terrible payoff.
  7. Wow. Can't say I liked the ending of that episode. I thought they could have been much more clever about Arya.
  8. Yup. And once companies started making them for the home and they came down in price, it was a no brainer for me.
  9. As others have said I think Tyrod has a chance to make the biggest jump. Darby could make the list but he wouldn't go as high as Tyrod if Tyrod has a good/great season.
  10. What I want to know, is how many 1st round picks they gave up for EJ? They gave up the the 8th overall pick to move down and then selected him 16. They used 2 1st round picks on EJ.
  11. It's actually ridiculous how they do the list. I posted in the thread earlier but basically they send out the ballots in October. Every player gets one. They are then asked to rank their top 20 players. Not given names or shown stats or anything. Just rank them. Player 20 gets 1 point, 19 gets 2 and so on. NFLN then adds up all the points for the players and makes their list of 100 based on points received. Some players may only get 1 or 2 points. But they also aren't clear what they do in case of a tie in points. Apparently they end up only getting 300-400 of the ballets back, so there are a lot of players who don't fill them out.
  12. Spin it? Defend the pick? I'm providing a possible explanation as to why he may have opted not to have the surgery during his college years. I'm not even discussing the pick. You mentioned that he didn't chose to get it done in 13' or 14' while at Clemson. And they have one live scrimmage AND practices. You act like missing that, for a player who hadn't earned a starting spot on the team, is no big deal.
  13. They do play spring ball, BTW... so not exactly 8-9 months in between games. If he gets the surgery in the offseason he risks being put further down the depth chart and possibly never getting a shot at starting.
  14. That's great, I'm well aware that Von Miller is an OLB. He's also Denvers best pass rusher. The discussion is about dropping good pass rushers, whether it be OLB, DE or DT into coverage and its effectiveness on passing downs. "When your best passer rushers are eating space.." You mean like Miller was doing on that play? If you prefer I can post a GIF of Kony Ealy, a massive DE, dropping into coverage and intercepting Peyton in the Super Bowl? My point. Even star players and teams best pass rushers drop into zone coverage. The discussion has changed now anyways.
  15. But then why did he throw himself over the bridge into the water? Why not take the mask off and show Waif?
  16. That happened in the actual episode.
  17. Could be that. To me it kind of seemed like a dream sequence. EDIT: That could make sense, now that I think about it. The actress showed her how to use fake blood and she set this all up from the beginning. Although I think it might not be here because she doesn't have Needle with her.
  18. I agree. The week prior we see her getting Needle back and then appears to hide in a dark room or cave. Now's she's out and about in town, in full view? It just seemed a bit off, surely she would know she can't trust anyone but then lets an old lady walk up to her. She's knows what the MFG is capable of. Something doesn't add up.
  19. I have watched quite a bit of Watson, and I feel like I'm in the minority and agree with you. I think he needs to show a bit more this season before I would think he is a 1st round calibre QB. He needs to be better under pressure, which you have highlighted and he needs to throw more anticipatory throws. I don't think he does a great job reading defense post-snap either. And while his ball placement down the field is great, he struggles with placement on the short stuff. At this point, I think I like Goff and Wentz as passers more than I like Watson. That's not to say he can't improve all of those things this season because he has improved every season thus far.
  20. Is that Von Miller dropping into coverage and intercepting Brady I see... EDIT: In case you haven't notice, lots of teams and lots of DL do this. Even star players.
  21. I think the Jets took a quantum leap forward, more for their schedule and addition of talent (Marshall, Revis, Fitz, etc.) as opposed to Todd Bowles. Bowles still made plenty of coaching gaffs and when they needed to win a game to get into the playoffs, they couldn't. That doesn't mean Rex isn't a blustering and blubbering HC but I'm not so sure Bowles did much of anything last year. The test for the Jets will be this year with a much tougher schedule.
  22. Pete Prisco might we the worst NFL writer in America. He did a top 100 players in the NFL, spoiler, he didn't have a Bill rated in the Top 100. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/priscos-top-100-nfl-players-for-2016/ Some of his rankings are horrible
  23. I cut the cord from Cable TV a couple years ago. With things like AppleTV, the only thing I pay for is internet, I watch everything streaming. You can get A LOT of TV content online these days and I always hated paying for channels I never watched. And there was never anything on. I don't miss it and am able to get Sunday Ticket MAX so I don't get miss the Bills games.
  24. Oh yea, definitely. I meant more in terms of the mood of the board and what threads got started.
