  1. Again, they don't get the vet minimum for season UNTIL they make the 53 man roster AND are on the team Week 1. Which is the "bigger" money. Then it becomes fully guaranteed. Vet minimum for training camp is $1,800 a week.
  2. Throwing money out the window? Vet minimum for training camp is $1,800 a week. They have to actually make the roster to get the Vet minimum for the season.
  3. Exactly. Vet minimum for camp is like $1,800 a week. UFA is $900. You aren't breaking the bank to bring these guys in. But it does mean you can carry on installing the defense and not worry about getting a young guy up to speed.
  4. How is it telling? At yesterdays scrimmage they had 3 ILBs. 3. They do need guys to play preseason games. Let's say Raglands out until the start of the season, is that severe? Not really but they wouldn't be able to make it through preseason games with 3 ILBs.
  5. Yea I said that earlier. They would have known on the field if it was torn.
  6. Yea with Riddick going down this seems like a depth signing. Not sure it is necessarily a bad sign for Raglands knee. Plus it puts a solid vet in the LB room.
  7. I'm going with he's got a little bit of pain, they don't see anything on the MRI, so it's inconclusive. Which could mean small meniscus tear.
  8. Depends on the tear. Stevie, I believe, got a second opinion on whether he should have surgery to fix it or let it heal itself. Which are both options with meniscus tears.
  9. Like I said earlier, the trainers would have picked that up on the field. MRI is just confirmation.
  10. Or they didn't see anything. That doesn't mean bad. If the patient has swelling or pain but they don't see anything on the MRI, like a meniscus tear which happens, then the MRI would be inconclusive. That doesn't mean bad.
  11. Hmmm, meniscus tear then? MRIs seem to miss those or come back inconclusive.
  12. With a patellar strain, you really need to give it the full time to heal or you get what happened with Cabrera. Reinjury is a risk when you rush back from it. Hopefully the Bills would be smart, if that is the injury, and just shut him down until at least the season starts.
  13. Which would put healing time around 6 weeks. Not great but not horrible.
  14. If it's an ACL, the test the trainers do on the field to test structure and stability, they would know at that point. The scan is really just a confirmation. My guess is that the test by the trainers showed it wasn't that, hence why Rex said they don't think it's ligaments. But it could be a number of other things.
  15. Cornerback. I think we are pretty deep at the position, even with the loss of McKelvin and Brooks. Butler was alright in the season finally last year and Seymour, I think is going to be a stud. Corey White isn't bad either. Plus we have Robey and Sterling Moore
  16. Eric Wood says he thought it was a cramp...
  17. But the Bills had Richie first then he went to Miami, now he's back.
  18. I've listened to a couple of his press conferences at training camp and he's talked a lot less. A bit of humble pie, perhaps?
  19. That's my only gripe with what Joe has been reporting... maybe that's what they are working on, checking down. He said on Facebook yesterday that a WR, can't remember who, had opened up downfield and TT didn't see him and instead checked down. Maybe that's what the coaches wanted to see. But who knows.
  20. Jason La Canfora (@JasonLaCanfora) Reggie Bush expected to arrive in Buffalo this morning and sign with Bills pending results of a physical

  22. I've moved around quite a few times. I miss family the most and then probably certain food. That's pretty much it. When I was in SoCal I actually missed the change of seasons.
  23. Actually Joe B didn't downplay TT a ton last year, I just reread his TC reports. Quite the opposite actually. He had him winning the QB battles a number of times in the first week of camp. Talked about how he, TT, was the only guy with big play potential. But he did say last year that TT started slow. Saying all that, it's day 2. Still very early. Still getting timing down. And even then they are working on specific things, so who knows.
  24. Didn't he rush for a TD too?
  25. Troubling statistic? In Brady's first season he was 3-1 as a starter throwing over 30 passes. He only had 4 games. By his second season he was 10-8, although he did have two 29 attempt games he lost... So I'm not sure why the number 30 matters. Peyton Manning was 1-11 in his first season when attempting over 30 passes. Brett Favre was 5-5 in his first season when attempting over 30 passes. Drew Brews was 4-5. Jim Kelly was 2-8. Let's try comparing apples to apples, not apples to full-hall-of-fame apple orchards.
