  1. As previously said, Edelman thought he broke his foot again. Turns out his foot was fine. It could be Watkins is experiencing the same thing.
  2. Just in reference to the first play, thought this might be nice for people to read:
  3. Yea I am, I used to live in LA so I'm going with a group of around 8 to the tailgate and the game. That's obviously a huge long shot if that did happen but things change so much in a NFL season.
  4. I won't do anything. I've already planned my trip for the Los Angeles game, so I'm still going to watch and it's the NFL, anything is possible. I know people are at an all time low and think it can't happen to the Bills but the Chiefs went 0-5 to start the season last year then went on a tear after Charles went down.
  5. Someone who has a cushy network TV job!
  6. For the people that want a Czar brought in, can I ask a simple question: What qualifies a person as a Football Czar?
  7. Tough one. I like Sammy more than Decker/Marshall, mostly because he's younger and the Jets literally have no receiving threat at TE. Still gave the Jets the nod there.
  8. Why? Watch the play, watch Tyrods head. He looks to Clay then looks to Shady while starting his throwing motion. He never looks left. Add to that that the first couple of series are scripted and it would make sense that this first play was an attempt to get Shady into space and get the passing game going.
  9. It won't change anyone's opinion of the team whether they win or lose but yes it is a must win in terms of playoffs.
  10. I was going to say what you've said, and agree with what you've posted about the opening play. Even the image of Woods breaking free, Tyrod is already in his throwing motion. It was pre determined. I think the reason he didn't go to Clay is because the defender is breaking towards Clay as Tyrod looks his way. That doesn't mean he played great or even good for the rest of the game.
  11. Says he's going to play Thursday, let's step back from the edge. @ChrisBrownBills Sammy - report that he wasn't 100% going into the game was "very inaccurate." #Bills
  12. Says he's playing Thursday according to Sal C. What a crazy few hours @ChrisBrownBills Sammy - report that he wasn't 100% going into the game was "very inaccurate." #Bills
  13. Sammy says he's playing! Boom! @ChrisBrownBills Sammy - report that he wasn't 100% going into the game was "very inaccurate." #Bills
  14. Ian Rapoport ‏@RapSheet #Bills WR Sammy Watkins will likely have to play through pain this year. Nothing surgically to do. #Bills don’t plan on shutting him down.
  15. I mean this part from the article is even worse:
  16. That's not how it looked to me. Sammy caught the ball, went to secure it and Smith had his hand inside Sammy's and was able to knock the ball away.
  17. There you go, don't you feel better now?
  18. Which ones? He had 6 targets, the one people are saying he dropped was a good play by Smith, not a drop, IMO.
  19. Minimizing it? Try again. I acknowledged it and said it happened but I'm sorry if I don't agree with your assessment of how Joe Flacco played. You said Joe Flacco dissected the Bills defense, why don't you explain just how Joe Flacco "dissected" the defense instead of posting his stat line. What specifically did he do? Hilarious that the Bills defense forced Baltimore to 6/15 on third downs, stopped them on a 4th and 1, recovered a fumble but didn't get the offense the ball back on that last drive, so you're not impressed. All those other times they got the offence the ball must not matter. Also, the Bills, thus fa,r are 5th in the league in yards per play. But lets not talk about who's minimizing what.
  20. Watch the replay. It was a good play by Smith, he knocked the ball away from Sammy as he was trying to tuck it away. I definitely wouldn't call that a drop.
  21. Sure go ahead, but the argument wasn't McCoy "dissected" the Ravens defense. And I'm not taking away the play, I realize that it happened but saying Joe Flacco "dissected" the Bills defense and listing just his stat line for the game is a bit disingenuous. It's about context. Yes, he spotted Mike Williams on a Safety and made that throw, what did he do the rest of the game? Hit Perriman, who was blanketed by Gilmore for 35 yards. That's 2 plays. Not one on the Ravens receivers had over 100 yards receiving. Steve Smith Sr., who was targeted the most had 19 yards on 5 recs. Let's not act like Joe Flacco threw at will and did whatever he wanted. He was sacked 4 times, fumbled the ball and was nearly intercepted twice.
  22. That Miami OL though... 39 pass attempts, and counting for the rookie Dak..
  23. Then attack the seams!
  24. True. What a horriblely boring game.
