  1. thanks for the tip fatty. now go game plan for Brad Smith.
  2. After watching Griffin III on youtube i have come to the conclusion that he will be a monumental bust. My comments on his videos to this effect have been ridiculed harshly, but from what i have seen he has had success on play action and deep balls. His accuracy in the short and mid range passes is suspect and he played some simplistic defenses during his tenure at Baylor. His tendency to take off running if his primary target is covered kept the chains moving, but in the NFL he is a big injury risk IMO, because he is not huge and has a tendency to take some big hits
  3. i remember at least 8 interceptions that were deflected off receivers hands...catchable balls. IMO George Edwards was more of a problem than Fitzy, he couldnt get a stop to save his job. (literally) also i am not making an excuse for Fitz, but i dont think there has ever been a less heralded group of WRs than the Bills had in the second half of last season.....it was B Smith, Spiller, and injured Stevie, Nelson, and later on Hagan, not exactly an imposing group. its both....he tailored an elaborate scheme around a player with the mental capacity to run it...I dont remember him ever "just tossing it up there" rather than take a sack. There is tons of smart about his game, maybe you just arent intelligent enough to see the smart things he does. AND HOW!
  4. tebow is only a good runner when he fakes a handoff in the read option, or scrambles. He is not very good in an obvious running situation Imo. His accuracy is good between 25-35 yards but he needs time to pull the trigger on those long passes, and his inability to connect on short passes is almost laughable. Here in denver the fans were chanting for tebow during the first preseason game, which seemed to get to Orton, immediately causing him to become testy to reporters which further isolated him and buoyed Timtim. I can see the same thing happening in NJ, the difference being Buffalo and the pats have shown how to beat the Tebow system. After hearing that a reporter already called sanchez "Tim" i could easily see a similar situation playing out in NJ
  5. no doubt, they donkaholics make me laugh. i respect fox and del rio, and will root for the donks over lots of teams....curious to see how ol Peyton does, should be interesting. I live downtown in cap hill, crack corner (colfax and logan)

  6. Since I am stuck out here in ol Colorado, I rely on the reporting of BB.com and fans takes on training camp for updates. Early on Dorin Dickerson was mentioned often by both, but lately I havn't heard his name once. Is he dinged up? It seems has C Mac taken a greater role in the passing game in the early stages of T Camp. Can someone give an update on the promising H Back who seems to have disappeared.
  7. totally, they would possibly rename it Delaware park.
  8. Hey Buddy after signing Shockey and Plaxico get this one done too!! and braylon!!!
  9. I believe modrak had alot to do with that draft, i think he allowed Nix (gailey) the first pick and he would take second two, like old pickup games. Troup was picked because at the time Kyle W was a good player but had not achieved the success consistantly that he did in '10 and was viewed by many as too small to succeed as a true NT. (which we now know is wrong) Kellen Heard displayed the ability last season to make Troup expendable unless he shows he has the ability to make plays on the field. I think Carrington is a valuable player in rotation because he has experience at end and the size to move inside on pure passing downs, and is pretty cheap on the cap (as is Heard) compared to Spencer or Dwan.
  10. McKelvin seems to have trouble with his back turned to the QB and timing his leaps (also with back to qb), he has great speed and very good tackling ability which makes me wonder if he would be better suited as a free safety rather than CB. I know most safeties have better ball skills than Leodis, but he seems to have lots of confidence catching the ball when he is facing it (ie rolling punts, punts, kickoffs) His return skills are also very good on both Kicks and punts, pair that with his reasonable salary this season and i think he sticks. I think gilmore and williams are both going to be starters on the outside with mcgee moving gilmore inside to be joined by quicker brooks (mostly to cover Gronkowski and welker). Dont get me wrong i dont think leodis is better than Byrd, just think he has a skill set better suited for FS.
  11. please read in Buddy Nix voice....... ....."Now, we want players who are up and coming or just reaching their potential, players who are on the downside of their careers dont fit in on this team"
  12. i had wondered why Evans was shipped off for just a fourth rounder, this statement by Nelson makes sense for why a beloved player in the organization was jettisoned. I could see Lee being the guy who thought he knew it all, and besides i believe Nix and Gailey stated they want players who are on the rise or peaking on this team. I always liked Evans but he was surely a "go" route runner and was a bit small, which makes sense that he didnt want to run underneath routes...ie, "buying into the system"
  13. pickups such as Merriman, Urbik, Rhinehart, Pears, (Sam) Young, Chandler, Hagan, Barnett, and Morrison (as well as a handful of other still unproven pickups like Dickerson, McKillop, Onubun, Lee) have offset a weak first draft class. Nix and Whaley have a good eye on the waiver wire which IMO shows a great grasp of team needs as well as league wide personnel.
  14. qb coach David Lee, not M Lee may help add nuances to the wildcat, although the Bills scrapped the formation last year when Donald Jones got hurt and Brad smith was moved primarily to the receiver position. With a healthy corps of receivers they will be able to utilize the formation on third and short, much like they did with great success early on last season
  15. the real difference in this years defense is that george edwards has left the building. if something happens to Mario Williams i fully expect someone to pick up the slack.
  16. Brad Smith is the 3rd qb, the rules change makes this a certainty. He will run the wildcat as stated by Gailey, and spent the entire offseason as a qb so coach Lee could assess his skill set. He will be the 6th WR as well as the 3rd and wildcat qb. also i believe the coaching staff was higher on Easley last preseason than they were on Jones, however the heart condition ended that.
  17. but twit donte and the ultra unproductive kelsay are still here, i quit. but twit donte and the ultra unproductive kelsay are still here, i quit.
  18. re-signing chris kelsay to an extremely overvalued contract is soo wrong, its why the bills absolutely suck. he was overpaid when resigned last time his contract was extended, and has done absolutely nothing to warrant being re-signed, let alone a raise. ralph wilson is a complete moron and has lost one more fan. i cannot cheer for a team that does nothing to improve its chances to win, but continually makes the team less competitive by resigning ineffective players while letting good ones leave via free agency. i am also laughing at the bills, donte (and you)
  19. way better than the pick in the endzone against san diego and rivers. or the sack on him in the fourth qtr to cause a fumble. yep.
