  1. The last paragraph of the article even states that it cannot happen without a CBA.
  2. I just wanted to thank you for posting this. I've been waiting to hear what he had to say in regards to why he resigned so it was nice to find a link. Thanks!
  3. I'm in Maine and for the most part my friends are pretty mild. I get a lot of condolences...
  4. I see your point, but Jackson doesn't exactly have to miles on him that most 30 year old running backs do. He hasn't taken the pounding that others have.
  5. Hey, I'm impressed you came up with more than 5. Makes me want to go back and add a couple.
  6. I'm not sure what a boycott really proves. Would it be to let the front office know the fans aren't happy? I'm sure they know. There's only so much that can be done. The hole is deep. No amount of money could bring a higher profile coach and you bringing in "blue chip" players won't help if there are too many holes to fill around them. Face it, we're at the bottom. Every team sees it at some point. I for one will continue to support them right till the very end. "In Ralph/Buddy/Russ/Chan We Trust"...
  7. Kyle Williams would be one of the first guys I would keep and find a place to put him. I'd go back to a 4-3 if it was the only way to put him on the field. Can't think of anybody that works harder. On Defense I'd also keep Scott, McGee, McKelvin, and Bryd. Scott may not start, but he's another player that works hard. Offense would be Spiller, Evans, Wood, Levitre, and McIntyre. Lindell and Moorman are givens. On second thought: I'd also consider keeping David Nelson, Parrish, Shawn Nelson. I'd have to see some more playing time from some of this years rookie class for some of the Defensive guys too.
  8. Nice to see another Mainer here. We'll have to catch up for a game some time. Misery LOVES company. Probably enjoys a beer once in a while too. Go Bills...

  9. Can you name 5 Offensive and 5 Defensive Bills players you would keep to build this team around currently on the roster?
  10. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Easy now. Each time the last couple of years we were given a chance to "shine" on national TV we booted it. I would be perfectly happy "shining" for a few games and without any ESPN guys noticing for a little while. Maybe get some proven wins under our belts, then move our way into the media spot light. I do agree with you though that it would be nice to get some TV love from time to time, but I think we need to show some consistency first.
  11. Same here. Set my DVR to record the Sunday morning (2am) showing only to sit down yesterday afternoon and have the Saints-Chargers game recorded. Pissed me off. Currently it's supposed to show tonight at 8pm. We'll see...
  12. I love the new uniforms. The throwbacks are nice, but I prefer the dark blues. I also think the "standing buffalo" is a boring helmet design. Give me the "charging buffalo" any day of the week. I do wish that the jerseys had a Buffalo Logo on them. Either a Bills logo or the charging buffalo.
  13. That was my biggest disappointment last year with the TO signing. I knew that would take away from Steve Johnson getting more playing time. I think that if Buffalo had passed on Owens, we would have been farther ahead this year at wide receiver. Granted we wouldn't have sold as many season tickets last year, but I don't think we benefited talent wise by having him. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a TO hater; I was excited to have him here. But I think he hurt player development.
  14. Anyone else excited to see Steve Johnson get a chance as the #2 WR? I've been dieing to see him play some real ball since he was drafted and looked better than Hardy in every camp. Hope he gets a legit chance.
  15. This is my exact reason for being a little miffed at Trent. He couldn't sympathize with the fans for a moment and understand our frustration. For once Owens said the "right" thing by saying he could side with fans.
  16. Here are the ones I have (as most probably have): Terrell Owens - terrellowens81 Donte Whitner - DonteWhitner Kawika Mitchell - Ka_Mitchell55 Aaron Maybin - AaronMaybin58 Brian Moorman - brianmoorman
  17. I'm sure at this point he could be had at a small price, at least to come in and show he wants to play. It can't hurt considering what we have open on the line. And he can compete with any other new faces we bring in.
  18. I don't think I've heard his opinion on any free agent signing so far. And I'm sure he'd just repeat what everyone else in the organization is saying: "He'll be a great addition.""Teams can't cover him and Evans at the same time.""He'll give us a lot of new offensive opportunities.""He could be the piece we've needed to make that next step." Yada, yada, yada...
  19. Just because Kelly is busy with Hunter's Hope, don't count him out as a Voice for the Bills. I still hold hope that he could gain some ownership when Ralph passes. But it is great to hear what Thurman had to say about the TO move. I'd like to hear Kelly's take also.
  20. Wait a year from now when Owen jerseys are on the clearance racks!
  21. I've been waiting all weekend for Peter's article. Of all reporters, he's the one I respect most and consider most of what he says as gospel. So if he says Trent had a part in getting this deal done, i'm willing to believe.
  22. Wearing the batteries out on my mouse clicking between here and ESPN. Funny how buffalobills.com isn't my first choice for news. Though I do check Chris Brown's blog a time or two a day.
  23. I don't think any action by the Bills would impact the leagues decision. Anything the Bills did would be additional.
