  1. i guess i wouldnt mind moving up to 7 if it didnt cost us a 3rd to do it...maybe one of the 4ths.....i hope they dont move up to 3 like PFT says we are interested in kalil. We would prolly have to give up our 2nd and i just dont think this team can afford to do that this year.
  2. sorry, but i just had to post this since the draft is 44 hours away. I just saw the bit w/ dareus on hey rookie welcome to the NFL. They showed a few highlights from the week 2 (raiders) and week 3 (pats) games. Both of those comebacks just gets me all excited to get the season started and see what nix and company have instored for us for thursday. I know after watching those two games i wouldnt mind floyd at 10 since we had to come from behind but then again gilmore or barron wouldnt be that bad either so we wouldnt get into that spot. Just had to post something since not to many bills fans in the kansas city area.
  3. or floyd and fleener at 41 if he is there. That would be crazy!
  4. Ok im going to have to eat my own words...in an other thread i mentioned that i did not want floyd b/c we can get other caliber WR's in later rounds. Im iffy on reiff at 10, we could go with ingram but we just spend about 125mil on 2 DE's, i dont think we will find a partner to trade down. I've watched tapes of floyd today and i want him on our team. At 6'5 this guy does nothing but make plays and out jumps people. I think this could be a nice WR to compliment stevie. But i dont think he will fall to use at 10..i see JAX nabbing him up or even carolina.
  5. maybe fred jackson makes it, the injury doesnt help his cause. We all know if he doesnt get hurt and produces the rest of year he is up for MVP.
  6. IMO i hate the 10th pick right now. I watched the NFL combine and some pro-days. After the top 6-7 guys in the draft everyone from 8-32 are all basically the same talent level. Not 1 person sticks out and says we have to get him at 10 b/c he is such a dynamic player. I dont see anyone moving up to 10 unless tannehill or richardson falls. I hope the FO has done their scouting and trust the pick nix and company make.
  7. drafting 7th round LT's and thats why our offensive line is so great! If fitzy didnt have to throw the ball after 2 drop steps he probably would have been sacked 50 times last year.
  8. You might want to get your facts straight b4 you start farting our of your mouth. Riley Reiff has started the last 2 season at iowa as a left tackle. Just b/c NFL Network and ESPN says he as shorts arms he cannot be a LT. Get your head out of your ass. Yes long arms may help but its about the determination to kick the other players ass on the other side and he has that. I saw 6 games from him last year and he dominated. Tackles and guards out of iowa are a sure thing...and at 10 thats what you want. reiff will be a starter in the NFL for years to come.
  9. I like your point...if floyd turns out to be like a plax or vjax then i am all for that pick. I just dont see him being that big of a game breaker right away..and at 10 thtas what you need to get. I just cant seem to find a guy that i like at 10....All the top tier talent are picks 1-7. After that everyone is being a capable starter in the nfl i just dont see talent there to deem a top 10 pick. Even though we are stuck at 10 unless we trade down... then im all for picking up floyd, or reiff, or ingram, perry..etc...
  10. No big deal thats why i started those comments but let me tell you this. We drafted a guy who had 3 years in college had roughly 2700 yards 36 td's...anyone know who i am talking about? James Hardy those numbers look dominant too...its not what you did in college its how you transfer to the NFL. I see stephan hill transfering better then floyd. If bills take floyd i hope he makes me eat my own words but i dont want him at 10. Rather draft him after late teens early 20's.
  11. I dont think floyd is top 10 talent in this draft. There really isnt a standout player to me this year after pick 7. AFter that they are all in the 16-25 range. Go watch some route running of floyd on you tube and he doesnt get any seperation from the db. That is one big problem i think in my eyes. Yea he can win the jump ball but do you want your reciever fighting for the ball everytime thrown to him. I would rather wait until the 2nd round to get the likes of jeffery, randel or if a bill fan can hope...I really like stephan hill in the second.
  12. first is the defense. I know mario and anderson should help but we couldnt stop anything running up the middle last year. I know wanny is a good 4-3 def coach but when was the last time any of his def units were in the top 15 of the league? I dont know if wanny has the smarts to come up with something new in disguising the blitz packages and adjusting mid game. Plus there comes the draft. I know the past two drafts have been really good for us but if nix and company go way off the board again this year at 10 i might just shoot myself. If they go tannehill or reach for a LT i think im going to go nuts. Realistically im looking for a winning season first before i think about winning the division and a playoff win or 2.
  13. my mock is in signature...i have us trading down, but i realistically dont see it happening..but a bill fan can hope right?
  14. How about 2004....i was wanting Big Ben to come to us at 14. Pitt got him i think 2 picks in front of us. Then we traded back into the round for JP Louzyman. Man was that a long satruday. Still wish they would be rounds 1 thru 3 on saturday. Made for a fun bbq event.
  15. who do you have chargers moving up to get in your mock draft?

  16. Great point!. 10 is to rich to spend on a WR unless it blackmon. There are plenty of WR in the 2nd round that we can get to do those things and will be productive in years 2 and 3 and battle stevie for #1. A-la...Hill, Jeffery....I really like mcnutt in later rounds. He is 6'2'' pushing 6'3. 216 ran sub 4.5 40, can jump, box out CB's, needs to run routes a little stonger...plus he was an ex QB so you know his football IQ is there.
  17. i dont think it will happen but this is what i predicted if a trade happens for us to move down. Tear it apart.
  18. All sounds great and dandy.....but that means you still have to find someone to move up into the 10 spot. I really dont see anyone moving up unless somone wants tannenhill(sp?) that bad and i dont even see that. I would love for us to move down 5 spots, pick our guy and get an extra 2nd but i just dont see it happening.
  19. Nick perry, not bad...i would like us to move down a few spots to get him though...but his stock has been rising.
  20. regardless this team has negelected the offensive line the past few years..i like bell, but he hasnt said he wants to come back. Yea we can plug in other guys but thats not going to help up win the battle up front. You need a strong LT and thats Martin. We moved back into the 1st rd in 2009 to get wood, i wish the would have pulled the trigger and moved up higher to get oher. Oh and that same draft our FO decided to go maybin instead of brian orakpo. Just think what are def would look like now! But who knows what the FO will do, prolly pick trent richardson or tannehill (sp?). I have seen crazier things with this franchise on draft day.
  21. I wouldnt mind manningham but im sure we can find a receiver in the later rounds...Marvin McNutt. Also are we done looking in FA for anyone, i thought the FO said they were going big...i know mario was huge but i think we need to get a CB or WR to plug in now and get depth thru the draft.
  22. Do the bills want to pay that money...i think that is going to take up the rest of our cap space wont it?
  23. What is he going to demand for contract though....9-12 mil a year????
