  1. Would rather go with VandenBosch, Kruger or Connor Barwin, there will be plenty of FA with a lot better upside than Scott
  2. The reason why he did so badly after signing the contract was he couldn't help but laugh every time he stepped on the field, he couldn't believe that they really did pay him all that money. He really needs to restructure !!
  3. No QB's deserve a first round pick, Either a top ranked WR which with us letting Jones walk (thank you lord) there is a good chance that we could do just that. If QB talent has anything to do with where they are drafted & comparing them over all to R. Wilson & where he was taken then a QB shouldn't come off the board until UMMM i'd say the 4th round !!
  4. Agree but hind sight being 20/20 he wasn't worth the money that they jumped so quickly to give the guy !!
  5. This guy is not a priority & IMHO i don't see exactly what the Bills FO ever saw in ?? He is not a real good #2 WR, i think he is a decent depth player but i don't see what he can bring over & above a good depth player. So work on getting the elite talent we have signed, worry about the others later !!!
  6. Saw it the old one looks a lot better & more like a cat thats ready to fight !! The new one not so much.
  7. The kid could be a gem but Codarrelle Paterson is in the same mold as Boldin & they say he has a huge upside. It's going to be a tough pick i just hope who ever we pick up is a good player & we don't let them go to put them on the practice squad like we did Carder & Asper...
  8. Ya they have drafted well but when they had Singletary as their HC they couldn't win. With what ever changes Harbaugh has made that is what has made the players better. It's all about chemistry ! Chemistry of players, scheme, & coaching if one is off your screwed !! Thats why the Pats have been so good for so long !!
  9. Just days after the SB Ex Bill Donte Whitner is back at it, runnin his mouth .. He is predicting that "each year the 49ers take a step up & that next year they will win it all" Although it is good to have the confidence in your team mates to carry you to a SB as was pointed out in the article it is hard to go to the big game 2 years in a row & that it hasn't been done since the Pats went back to back . So good luck with that Donte we will all be waiting to see if your actions can cash in on what your mouth is saying ...
  10. This is his second team he has been on & he has never made it to the starting WR position I don't see why being here would make that any different . He has been a good kick returner & that has been what has allowed him to stick with the 49ers & for all that matters thats all that Miami used him for so there is something there that we aren't seeing that the coaches that he has played for do see !! We don't need any more mediocre players we have covered the market on that ...
  11. I hope we pass on him talk about a prima donna !! Just ask him how good he is and you'll be in for a long drawn out explanation of just how good he thinks he is ... I hope he's out of the NFL for a while that just might humble his brash ALL ABOUT ME attitude !! He makes T.O. look like a choir boy !!
  12. Now that's some funny S**t i don't care who u are !!
  13. Cordarelle Patterson i think will be the next Boldin, I hope we can pick him up ! He is 6' 3" tall & 205 lbs but can add some weight & still be a Boldin type receiver. Boldin is 6' 1" & 223 lbs what they are saying about Patterson is some really good stuff !! He could be the missing link in our offense !!
  14. At one point he was the first pick to be here & i bet if he had been chosen to be the Bills coach & we were in the SB you wouldn't be quite so against his animation on the side lines. I just hope that our new coach has half the passion on the side lines for us B/C that passion has been missing in B/Lo since Wade left & as you can see in the 2 years time he has been in SF his passion for the game has spilled over to his players & has helped that already talented team make to the big game !! Now thats pure 110% emotion right there !!!
  15. Ain't that the truth !! How can the NFL go along with some of this crap ? Did you see the picture of that facility in the article, & how old is it ? It looks like a great building !! These teams are getting ridiculous !! I can see a bunch of fans being over the NFL team hostage situation in a few years. Along with the players getting payed way over what they deserve & crying that they don't make enough the entire game is just changing into a prima donna game, nothing more than a bunch of whiners !! And owners (can u say Jerry Jones) have turned into the same thing..
  16. All the talk around the Pro Bowl is that it is not played very hard & at times has been thought to be on it's way out B/C of the lack of competitive play on the field. Could Baseball have something in their all-star game ? Next year there is a cold weather SB, it will be the first one in a long time & if the pro bowl was played to determine which conference AFC/NFC would host the SB could that be the catalyst to make the pro bowl play more competitive or pride worthy than just a vacation for the players ? If the NFL were to introduce such a rule & each year include a list of cities that would be willing to host future SB's (cold weather cities included) & have the pro bowl determine which conference team & city would host he SB say 4 years ahead, then the chosen city would have time to get their respective city ready for the event. Of course the city in putting their names or application in to host a SB would already need to have a package or the OK for funding to make changes to be the host city prepared before they put in their application. Cities like New Orleans, Miami, Dallas would all ready have a leg up but smaller cities like the Buffalo's, Green Bay, Cleveland, Cincinnati, types with the possibility of hosting just 1 SB might be able to move ahead with stadium deals or make upgrades like Buffalo has in mind which would generate A TON of revenue for the area. Plus you would think that monies would be made easier to get if the regions gov't knew they would be generating the kind of revenue that they would B/C of the SB. If they thought the Toronto series brought in fans from Canada can you imagine what a SB would do for the Buffalo region ? Go ahead Bills fans it's your turn, could the Pro Bowl be made more competitive & be the over all decision maker of which conference & conference city could host the SB ?
  17. One of the biggest games in championship history was played in the cold weather of Green Bay the Ice Bowl. It use to be common place but the game along with the people in the US have become soft & want it to be played inside so their hands don't get cold which i get it !! But if they are going to play the SB in NJ for the NJ Giants then all of the cold weather cities should be able to host a SB, (like thats gonna happen) !! If each city had enough time they could prepare like they do for the olympics. Next year will go a long way to see how the cold weather SB idea plays out ... The NFL will just triple their suit tickets & they will be in the warmth of the climate controlled booths !! While the true football fans will be where they have always been !!
  18. During the power outage coach Cowher was talking about the possibility of putting in Smith & before that i was thinking the same thing, but was also thinking that that could have killed Kapernicks confidence. It worked out the kid played a good game & he will be a good player for a long time in SF, now if the Bills can get better maybe Boomer along with all the other Bills fans can get their wish of a SB with tha Bills & SF but this time the Bills coming out as the winners !!! GO BILLS !!!!
  19. Very talented person i will give her that, & she's hotter than a stolen pistol, that being said i wold much rather watch what has been said of past SB entertainers the old guys. The old guys like Aerosmith, Mcartney, The Wo, will be played for 100's of years to coe while the others will have a limited group of fans. I can't wait for them to have AC/DC on as the halftime entertainment !! The old guys changed music for ever all of these new artists grew up listening to the old guys & are trying to remake or redo what they did. At least Beyonce was better than last year The Black Eyed peas SUCKED !! That was the absolute worst halftime show i have ever seen !! I thought this year they might have Stevie Wonder seeing as they did the whole Superstition thing this year in the NFL commercials NOW THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN A SB HALFTIME SHOW !!!! Next year will probably be Justin Beber !!
  20. Watching the SB we see a few FA's that will be on the market next year. Seeing as we need some help in different spots on the D here's a idea for the Bills in FA. Seeing as Mark Anderson didn't do a whole lot of impressing any one in B/Lo last year in the few games that he did play in, then you take into consideration that he had the knee injury that kept him out of the rest of last season. Add in the fact that most players (unless your Adrian Peterson) have a hard time getting back to form quickly after a knee injury I say let's cut him & not take the chance that he might be worse than he was last year at the beginning of the season completely healthy ! PIck up a DE in the draft this year seeing as D line is a strength in the draft, Okafor, Werner Anasah , Moore, or a LB. Mingo, Jones, Teo . Then cutting Kelsay is another piece of this puzzle now which will save about $4 mill in cap space added to what ever Anderson is suppose to get could be substantial. With the over all money saved from these 2 moves pick up Paul Kruger from the Ravens in FA he has been a good player for the Ravens, & we may be able to get him seeing as the Ravens are going to have to get rid of a couple of players at the end of the season from what's being said. That would not only help us with the LB position but in the pass rush also. I don't know what a player such as he would cost in FA but i think with the money saved it could be done ...
  21. Sounds like some one is a Glennon or a Nassib fan ! These guys were under a bit of pressure to get the job done due to the clock & if that shows any thing about how they play under pressure weather it be on the field or in a competition it tells me that it's not a good reaction. And if you would like to judge them n their game presence then just look at the senior bowl footage... And then you can see it first hand. I for one just don't want it to be in a Bills uni !!!
  22. I wondered if any one got a chance to watch the annual Allstars Football Challenge on ESPN2 last night at Jerry World ? It had a bunch of the guys coming out in this years draft, 2 of which were Glennon & Nassib. The WR from UT was a beast Cordarelle Patterson is a beast !! They had 4 teams, on each team they had 5 people, they would do running certain obstacle courses that simulate what they might do n a game. It was pretty good ! When they got to this one part where it started with the kicker having to hit a 50 yard FG, (Oh & this was a timed event) after the whistle the kicker had to hit the FG, then the QB had to hit a stationary target, throw into a stationary net target about 20 yds down field, then to a WR, then he would run a gauntlet course (if that is what it was called) and the last guy would sprint to the end across the finish line. Let me put it this way Nassib wasn't the worst but his accuracy SUCKED ! Just not as bad as Glennon. The 2 of them finished Nassib #3 - Glennon #4 in the competition, & as i said their accuracy was the big down fall of their game . Glennon at one point threw so many balls trying to hit the net target 20 yds away they ran out of balls & guys had to run & get more... Nassib hit the target after like the 8th or 9th throw. After the senior bowl & this i'll pass (no pun intended) Both may make it to the NFL but don't expect anything more than what we saw last year from either of these guys, it will take a while for either one to develop into NFL type QB's . They could be good back ups but i don't see any thing that made me even think they were any where close to first round talent !! If we follow the grab a QB in the first round & either of these guys are our pick they will be nothing less then a project QB. The Rogers kid from Vandy (which i think they said was Arrons brother) was a lot more accurate than either of these guys & Manuel was the #1 QB n the competition. I hope our scout team really looks at a bunch of tape on these guys & goes with what the other team needs are or with a different QB, maybe either one of those guys picked as a second QB in the later rounds but please don't blow a first round pick on those guys !!!!
  23. If the concussion issue is getting that bad then why not do what Kelso did while playing for the Bills ? Make all players wear a helmet with the added padding on the crown of the helmet or on the entire outside of the helmet ? More than likely if Kelso wouldn't have had the extra foam protection on the exterior of his helmet his career would have been much shorter than it was. Sure if they do in fact do that it would especially at first look like bobble heads football but if it cuts down on the amount of concussions thats a good thing !!
  24. Seeing as they are super bowl commercials i will wait to see them while watching the super bowl isn't that the intent ? And the entire reason why they were made for the super bowl or am i missing something. I know in todays world we want things RIGHT NOW but man chill out !!!
  25. The Bills FO personal just want to be exhaustive & thorough in looking at every possibility as far as the contracts with their FA's just as they were in their search for the new HC. Buddy realizes what the team needs & is a strong proponent of keeping your own good players so i don't see this being a problem unless of coarse another team want s to pay over & above what the players marketable worth is like the Poz deal, then i could see us letting them walk. Well it's been nice having them as Bills players
