Who cares what any sports journalist thinks or doesn't think of this team. We had an exciting game but we still LOST. Sure, it's nice to hear people being not so critical, I guess, but until we can actually win a game (which I really believe the best chance to do it is in the next 4 weeks...@KC, vs CHI, vs DET and @ CIN) it's all just nonsense. My biggest hope for this season is to beat RoethlisRAPER and the Steelers this year. If that would be our lone win this year I'll sleep like a baby all offseason.

I think we can win a few of these games if the opposing team plays defense like we do. We've proven ourselves incapable of stopping ANYBODY so far this year aside from Miami (who only scored 15 against us). Starting in week 2 we've given up 34, 38, 38, 36 and 37 points. At least we're consistent.

It wasn't a "W", but hopefully something to build off of THIS season. I'm excited (or maybe just curious) to see what we have in store the rest of the season. Hopefully the defense starts to improve and we may have a few more "W"'s than most people think.

My fondest Bills memory is visiting my Aunt in Buffalo (I grew up in Erie PA) before Xmas in 1992 and she surprised me with tickets to my 1st Bills game (vs Denver). John Elway was injured so I got to see Tommy Maddox and Shawn Moore rotate in and out every single play...the Bills were coming off back to back lousy losses and were sputtering early. Then the play that seemed to awaken the team...a shotgun snap to Kelly, he hands it off to Thurman who starts to his right...Reed is coming on an end around and takes the handoff from Thurman and then flips the ball back to Jimbo, who then hit Beebe for like a 65 yard TD. I was 14 years old and that play will stick in my mind eternally. I've had many, many other fond memories but that is #1. As for the negativity, it's hard to be positive right now with the way things are going...but I remain hopeful that this staff can turn it around...I'm absolutely positive that they need more than 8-9 months to prove themselves (meaning Nix and Gailey). GO BILLS!!

I agree with the NHL not being close to the other 3 major sports in America, and even if it was right up there with the others I would still say the Bills, period.

I do like the nice, symmetrical 8 divisions made up of 4 teams and all...but I think the quality of NFL teams have gone down since the arrival of the Panthers, Jags, Texans and Browns. But who would be eliminated? The Jags seem like the only CLEAR choice, but beyond that I would have to think the Bills would come up in a lot of conversations. But contraction isn't happening in the NFL, IMO.

You know what would be hilarious? Buffalo doing something as silly as building a stadium now and THEN the Bills leave a year or two later. I am laughing hysterically thinking about.

I don't think Locker will be a 1st round pick...it makes me think back to a certain QB named Brohm who was supposedly one of the top QB prospects and went back to Louisville for a year and dropped to a 2nd rounder, a practice squad player and now the backup of this talent laden group.

I'm not sure how GB does it...guessing there's a committee who votes on all decisions or something. But you're right, if there's a rule barring this type of ownership then it doesn't matter anyway.
