  1. Dead on.. Only you have to rip up the old pavement before you can put down the new stuff
  2. Dead on.. Only you have to rip up the old pavement before you can put down the new stuff
  3. I think it all comes down to who is available... If Clausen or Bradford are there (assuming they like them both) I think they pull the trigger... Especially if all of the big 4 tackles are off the board. I don't see a trade up scenario, but I would like to see them move out(down) of number 9 if they don't have "the" tackle they like or the QB they like there... We'll see next month... Can't wait.
  4. If we move up to number 2 ... We won't have a second rd pick.. Unless the Lions want all of our dead weight... Any of the first rd picks that Marv made... Don't see that happening
  5. Hardy and Johnson will pick up the slack, they will both be a lot better as they'll be in pro football for the third year.. I also think the Bills will bring in a relatively inexpensive vet to compete for the job... We have bigger concerns, Like who's throwing the ball and who is playing defense...
  6. I agree that his production and paycheck are completely off, but I don't think Evans is the main reason for that... Poor qb play, check that, horrendous qb play and the inability or unwillingness of coaches to get the ball down field to him is where most of of the problem is... No excuses though... He needs to produce more to justify the big pay Check and for the Bills to put up points.
  7. I hope we see a rematch in the finals... That would be so great for North American Hockey... The NHL finally sticks its chest out in the world hockey arena... USA USA USA USA USA!!!!!!!
  8. I've been thinking that the Bills could potentially move out of the 9th spot down in the mid teens and grab Williams... But now with Butler retiring, I'm becoming more of a "draft and OT guy" in rd one... We shall see.. Don't think Williams will be there when our number is up in rd 2 though..... Cody would be a fine pick as well in rd 2 or even 3... someone always falls...
  9. Its about the BIG picture... The goal is to reach and win the Superbowl... Filling holes quickly won't do that... They need to step back and build it the right way... Its not going to be pretty in '10.. But, I honestly believe these guys have the right plan in mind.. Get the QB first!!!!!!! filling holes with FA's is the last step... get draft choices.. unload dead weight... This is a draft heavy on talent in areas the Bills are weak (except QB).. Try to find ways to accumulate picks in rounds 2-5... OL,DL, LB.. Big picture guys....
  10. Very classy.. Even though its just a preliminary game... The tables could be turned by next week this time. One of the best hockey games I've seen.. probably ever. It just goes to show you that if your best player is a goaltender, you always have a chance.. Canada carried play for most of that game and Miller was the best player on the ice last night... and that's saying a ton with all of the hockey talent on both of those teams... This whole tournament is amazing... I wish the NHL could look like that. BTW... Two weeks until Free Agency!!! Make something happen Buddy!!!!
  11. This was a tough one, but I'd go with Ngata... Parick Willis is Also tough to pass on... Andre Johnson,Joe Thomas, Clady are all good selections. Looking hard at this, I guess I didn't realize there is no true generational pass rusher ...
  12. LT Bell LG Levitre C Wood RG Incognito/another free agent RT Rookie/free Agent I am hoping for Clausen in rd 1
  13. Culpepper would be an option to bring in for one or two seasons... Play ahead of a rookie, compete with Trent and he's been through that scenario before in Detroit... I think they wait and see what happens in the draft... If we go QB with the first pick, its just the new guy and all of the others on the current roster... Oh the anticipation... its killing me.
  14. I would not hate it if we brought in Campbell to compete with Edwards as long as we draft another option in the first 3 or 4 rounds for our future.. I understand Campbell and Edwards are both relatively young, but I'd still like to see another young arm.. My first choice is Clausen...
  15. Levitre was a tackle in college.. He came in too weak for the NFL, but after a year and change of the Bills program, he might bs ready to compete for a RT spot.. I'd bet that they keep Incognito, Kendall Simmons is still on the roster....Wood to center... Bell at LT...
  16. I for one like Bell... He has a ton of upside.. If we recall, Peters took some time before he was ready.. I think Bell was asked to start a year ahead of when he was ready... This upcoming season, look for him to win that spot.. I am liking the Oline potential. I'd like to see Incognito resigned and at LG, Wood back at Center, Butler to RG, Bell at LT and bring someone in to fight with Levitre for RT.... Butler and Levitre could ultimately switch..... I think they were all too young last year.. They will ALL improve...
  17. thanks man.. I'm trying to put this in the past...
  18. You know what's bad about this is Bledsoe would have to be the QB... Great start.. You sure you want to continue?
  19. Among the funniest replies I've read on this site... Well played.
