    Someone needs to ask more specifics about the coach search process, Gailey's offensive philosophy, and what he thinks of specific players on the team. These generalizations Gailey and Nix are throwing around are getting on my nerves.

    No. The Bills don't want him and there's no way he'd accept an OC job. I think figoferreira just wanted Billick as the HC and is grasping at straws.

    Good point. Maybe two out of ten new Gailey threads seemed to have potential for decent discussion. Most have been spam, I agree.

    I know it's bad to have 50 different Gailey threads up but this thread is getting bloated, and people obviously aren't going to show up and read 30 pages of words before posting something that's already been posted in this thread. If a new Chan Gailey thread brings up new topics or information, it doesn't necessarily seem to warrant being immediately closed IMO. Just a suggestion.

    The fact that the game mismanaging, complete lack of imagination on offense, ultra-conservative Herm Edwards is such a big advocate of Gailey and says "Our philosophies match up" reduces my confidence in this hire.

    The Colts will rest their starters for next season. The risk of injuring Peyton Manning is too great. 17-2 may be important to fans, but not the Colts organization.

    I'd be fine with Frazier, but let's not go overboard on that one game. The Vikings defensive line physically dominated the Cowboys offensive line without even needing to blitz. That's more on the execution of the players than any OC or DC outsmarting the other.

    Having a guy like Revis shutting down the other teams top receiver gives them this luxury, though.
