  1. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/...tadium-project/ Last paragraph: Then there's the relatively minor issue of, you know, having a team to play there. Possible candidates include the Jaguars, Chargers, Rams, Raiders, 49ers, and Vikings No mention of the Bills for once!!! I was kinda excited.
  2. on ESPN first take and a recent Mort tweet: Corners like Darelle Revis always cite Bills' Lee Evans as one of toughest WRs to cover; Revis just did so on First Take. Evans needs help Still wanna trade him?
  3. If we traded a 2nd rounder to Washington for campbell, I would cry.
  4. LMAO So true. People might seriously go awol, or honestly have a heart attack. Seriously, they may...
  5. Let me start off by saying I know it takes a bit to put together a 7 round mock draft, and i appreciate the effort. But I dont like the Derrick Morgan pick. I think he will be a good player, but think we need to address other needs with this pick. Nor do I like a RB in rd2. Saffold is good in my book. Again, too many other more pressing needs to take Tate, even if we trade Marshawn. Cam Thomas and Ricky Sapp are awesome, and would be ecstatic if we got them in rd 3 and 4, but I think both are gone in round 2. And as far as the Jonathan Crompton pick, I would rather have Skelton or even Jarrett Brown or Matt Nichols.
  6. Astro, Love all your draft posts! I too am a draft Junkie. But i would not be happy with this draft. Alualu is not a NT IMHO. hes too small, and have not seen anyone saying he could work at being one. And I think a WR in rd2 would be a wasted pick. Would prefer the top 3 be Lineman or QB. MAYBE an OLB if the right guy fell. But I think drafting a WR in rd2 would be another wasted pick, when there is noone to throw him the ball, or anyone to block the other team for the guy throwing the ball. Too many needs to take a WR this early IMO.
  7. This would be good in my book for sure.
  8. Suh is a Beast. I wish we could not break the bank to get him. I know some of you here think hes not a NT, he is 307 pounds and is a freak of nature. I say we offer Detroit our 1st, next years 2nd and Lynch and trade up for this guy. They were talking about trading down in the past. That would be sweet.
  9. All of those teams you mentioned have more pressing immediate needs than QB. While I agree he MAY be gone, to start a thread as if you are 100% right is garbage. Especially when its something impossible to be 100% right at.
  10. Plan A. Get Tim Tebow, if Nix thinks he can lead this franchise. Why? Because he has all the "Intangibles" necessary to succeed at the QB position (Leadership, Drive, Desire to win, Work ethic etc.) these are not things that are easily coached. Everything else can be coached. Gailey did as good as can be expected with Tyler Thigpen as his starting QB, and Tebow is light years ahead of him, and I feel our position players are better than KC's was that year. So, unless we can trade down a few slots, should we grab him at 9 if we feel he will be gone at 41? Absolutely. There has never been a QB to come out of college with better intangibles than Tebow. AND he has a lot of a very underrated stat- WINS. All this together, along with the Jimbo endorsement lead me to believe he will and should be the next Bills QB. He is also big and strong enough to handle the elements December in Buffalo can bring. No plan B, bring Tebow to buffalo!
  11. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/draft06/news/story?id=2410670 and would likely involve Kyle Williams, and/or Marsgawn, and definitely Draft picks this year and next. And with the depth in this class at almost every position, it only makes sense to trade down. Only scenario to trade up would be for Tebow, If Nix and company feel he is their guy.
  12. For next years first? Sure. Imagine if we get Marshall for 2011 1st. Grab Clausen at 9, Saffold at 41, and Linval Joseph or Troup at 72, and we would be looking pretty good in my eyes! But, it will probably never happen...
  13. Pro Football Talk's latest mock draft has the Bills taking: Round 1: Dan Williams NT Round 2: Arrelious Benn WR Round 3: Jason Fox OT Round 4: Tony Pike QB Round 5: Phillip Dillard ILB/Nebraska I would not be very fond of this draft, Only because we do not address the LT position in the 1st 2 rounds. While i have read good things about Fox, Im not sure I like him as our 1st guy taken. And WR is a position of need yes, but this is way too high for this team to be drafting one. This draft does not address OLB either, even though i feel this is a much greater need than ILB at this point. This was a poor performance by PFT IMHO. And I found this information in their draft rankings section, as I couldnt find an actual recent mock draft from them. I know that most of these guys opinions mean as much as yours or mine, but i am an admitted draft junkie, and I thought this was one of the poorer drafts Ive seen for us to date.
  14. Fair enough. I do think he has matured quite a bit from those pictures though. 4 years at Notre Dame will help a man mature. If hes there, and they like him more than Tebow, than he will be a Buffalo Bill IMO.
  15. Once we start winning with #9 overall Timmy Tebow, it will go down as the smartest pick of all time. People will call Nix a genius. Mark my words. Maybe.
  16. I wouldnt hate this scenario at all. I dont think Cody will be there in rd2 though, I think Cam thomas is a more likely pick here. But that would be a good start in my eyes too.
  17. Thanks! I agree I think draft 2 would be the best, but i think the most likely draft is #1...
  18. None of these will Reflect trading down, but that would be my ideal scenario, as I think this is an extremely deep draft. That being said, here are 4 mock drafts done by me, Pick your favorite. Scenario 1: Balanced 1. Jimmy Clausen QB...2. Roger Saffold OT...3. Alex Carrington DE...4. Eric Decker WR...5. Edom Udofia NT In this Scenario we get the QB of the future (hopefully), and address almost all our needs. Scenario 2: Beef The Lines 1. Brian Bulaga OT...2. Cam Thomas NT...3. JD Walton C...4. Jevan Snead QB...5. Ed Wang OT Beef up the lines, get a mid round QB with a big arm. Scenario 3: Defense 1. Brandon Graham OLB...2. Cam Thomas NT...3. Selvish Capers OT...4. Brandon Spikes ILB...5. John Skelton QB Defense Wins Championships. We arent that far off and this draft helps. Scenario 4: Balanced 1. Trent Williams OT...Colt McCoy QB...3. Torrell Troup NT...4. Jordan Shipley WR...5. Jeff Owens DE Another Scenario where we address almost all of our needs. Scenario 5: Offense 1. Tim Tebow QB...2. Roger Saffold OT...3. Torrell Troup NT...4. Riley Cooper WR...5. Matt Tennant C/G Offense oriented draft. Build for the future. These are all draft scenarios that could very well happen IMO. If your name was Buddy Nix, which draft do you go with and why?
  19. By top 3 OT I mean Okung, Bulaga and Williams. Trading down is not an option in this scenario.
  20. I think San Diego would be another trade partner for the Bills. If Spiller is on the board, they do need a RB. We also get their 2nd and something else of value. at 28 we take Charles Brown OT. with 41 we grab Cam Thomas or Cody if by a miracle he falls, and with SDs 2nd rounder we grab Koa Misi OLB Utah. Rd3 grab Tony Pike, rd4 grab a WR (shipley, Cooper) and best available here on out. wouldnt be a bad draft IMO.
  21. Yeah I wasnt high on Matt Ryan either, I remember telling my buddy how i thought he would be a total bust. But aqfter doing some research, and watching some film on this kid, he seems to have what it takes- I guess I can kinda see how he has gone up some draft boards, but I think id still take Lefevour over him, sorry todd mcshay.
  22. Yeah I agree he seems to look pretty decent...i wonder why he wasnt invited to the combine though, and all of a sudden hes ahead of lefevour and such on some draft boards? seems a little weird to me no one was talking about him and now hes ahead of guys predicted to go in 3rd round.
  23. WOW, I just threw up in my mouth a little bit... I hope this was sarcasm and I am just too dumb to realize it
