  1. 50/50? Jacksonville is the team that will get relocated, The Bills arent going anywhere buddy.
  2. I gree with Williams going to end. I think we need a NT still, and honestly wouldnt be too against us giving up a player and a pick (maybe Lynch, Whitner and 2nd?) and trade up with Detoit, grab Suh/McCoy, Bulaga or another tackle with our 2nd 1st rounder, QB in rd 3, ILB in rd 4, then best available. Maybe that LT rumor would come true to back up Jackson, Sign a WR, then....Who knows? Playoffs might be a real possibility... Probably just wishful thinking, and I know people may be against trading Lynch and/or Whitner, but they are both (arguably) currently the 2nd best players at their positions on this team, and are expendable. And if that could get us a LEGIT NT, would be worth every bit of that deal...
  3. Rex Grossman? REALLY??? He has proven time and again he has no place starting in this league. I MEAN REX GROSSMAN?? Cmon guys...
  4. IF Mcnabb can be had for a 2nd rounder and we refuse, that will prove to me that this organization hates its fans and never wants to win.
  5. Thomas from GT will not be there in the 5th. Probably gone latest in the 3rd, ive seen a few mocks that have him in rd 2.
  6. I honestly wouldnt mind bringing him in, but would not annoint him the starter. He may still have something in the tank, but would still draft a guy this year too. Keep Edwards, rook, and daunte. Wouldnt be ideal, but couldnt be worse than the last 10 years.
  7. Hey Tim I was just curious as to your opinion on the possibility of getting Donovan McNabb in a Bills uni. Many people on this board dont even feel hes worth a 2nd round pick. I know there is rumblings he doesnt want to come here, any truth to that? and do you think he would be a good fit for the Bills? If so what do you feel is a fair price for him? Thanks for your time doing this too!
  8. I did a 3 month trial subscription to ESPN the mag and insider over 3 years ago, and for some reason insider still works although im not getting the mag anymore. I would not pay for insider again
  9. Says Lynch may be traded to SD for a 2nd or lower rd pick Also in another rumor they say TE has a 50/50 shot at being opening day starter. Also says Jack Del Rio wants a QB upgrade in Jacksonville. I wouldnt mind Garrard coming here, if the price was right. They also claim its highly likely Casey Hampton will get the franchise tag. Just a few tidbits to start the day!
  10. LOL You did not say this in an 'opinion' tone whatsoever. You said this like the rest of us are idiots and you are the only smart one around here, which you have since proven is the complete opposite. Im not going to get in a cyber arguement with you, but it is obvious who the tool bag is in this thread
  11. So you are basing TE will be our starting QB on what grounds?? FA hasnt begun yet, we havent had the draft yet, so unless your name is Chan Gailey you have no idea who the QB will be, just like I dont, nor does anyone else. Please refrain from dumb posts like this in the future.
  12. I agree MAYBE, and I mean MAYBE, with a good O-Coordinator Trent might have something still. I am on board that when Trent got hit by Adrian Wilson, he hasnt been the same since. Im not sure this lack of confidence and the 'scaredness' can be solved by anyone but himself. Trent has to help Trent IMO. I hope either way he is still on this roster, wether we draft a QB, bring in a vet, or do both. Realistically, I think Trent has more upside then Fitz or Brohm IF again he can gain his confidence back.
  13. Edwards thread on insider: Gailey passing on Clausen for Edwards? The Buffalo Bills may choose to pass on Notre Dame's Jimmy Clausen at No. 9 in the draft to give Trent Edwards a shot at winning the starting job. It may have a lot to do with new coach Chan Gailey's preference at the position. As the Buffalo News' Mark Gaughan points out, "Gailey has made the quarterback position work with Mike Tomczak, Kordell Stewart, Jay Fiedler and, to a lesser extent, Tyler Thigpen. I think there's a fair chance he's going to look at Edwards and say, 'Let's see what we can do for a season with this guy.' " There was speculation that they might pursue Donovan McNabb, and they may have already looked into the possibility. But if Gailey misses out on the McNabb sweepstakes, he'll take a long hard look at Edwards -- in person and on film. And it won't be a good sign for Edwards if Gailey drafts Clausen or another first-round QB anyway. Right now, Scouts Inc.'s Todd McShay has the Bills going with Oklahoma's Sam Bradford in his mock draft. DEAR GOD I HOPE NOT!
  14. I say do what it takes to get him here. many of you say you are not willing to give up a 2nd rounder for McNabb? Lets take a stroll down memory lane with first rounders: Would you trade ___________ for Donovan Mcnabb right now? 2009- Aaron Maybin: YES 2009- Eric Wood: Yes 2008- Leodis: Yes 2007- Marshawn: Yes 2006- Donte: Yes 2005: none 2004: JP- YES 2004: Evans: Yes Obviously you have a chance of getting a very good player in the 1st round, but odds are strongly in favor that he wont be as good as Donovan. AND you can get good players in every round. Its all a crapshoot. I would give almost whatever it takes to put him in a Bills uni for 2010 to 2013 or 2014. Get a guy in the 3rd or wait til next year and get a GOOD QB like Mallett or Locker, and let him sit for 2 years. IF Philly wanted only a 2nd rounder for him, it would be like striking gold! McNabb is a proven winner, an above average QB, and has at bare minimum 3 years left at a high level. To say no to a 2nd rounder is plain foolish, and would have to wonder if your last name was Guy or Modrak. This team has not had a QB since Jim Kelly. To pass up McNabb would show the city of Buffalo Ralph has no interest in winning right now. I, on the other hand, want to have a winning team in B-Lo ASAP. Giving up a 2nd rounder or even a 1st would not set this franchise back much, if at all. GO BILLS!
  15. If we have what the eagles want, and they are willing to trade him, we do it. He is a franchise QB, something the Bills have not had since Kelly. No reason ANYONE here should not want him. Even a 1st rounder would be acceptable in my book. I mean why not? Fills our biggest hole with an immediate contributer.
  16. Yeah terrible commercials. Best one was the doritos one where the kid slaps the dude in the face. I do like the Etrade kids talking ones usually- these ones were so-so as well though.
  17. First off I bet you have never been to a good D3 game, or you would not be saying that at all. Obviously not all of them are going to be very good. But like the NFL players need to develop. To say there is no talent there and "my friends are a joke" is just complete ignorance. A first round mock competition would be fun.
  18. Agreed that the NFL is year round now. I too am a freak and just put in a vacation request at work for the full week of the draft. I would love Promos bit about an NFL spring league. I wanna see me some Lonnie Harvey and other prospects. A few of my close friends played D3 football and were very very good. Not saying they would ever make it in the NFL, but some of the D3 games (Cortaca for sure!) are the best ive evr been to, and talent is there for sure, and I think this would maybe give some of those guys the looks a few of them deserve.
  19. I agree in the trenches if Clausen isnt there at 9. I really am beginning to like Dan Williams from Tennessee at #9. He is big at 320 and looks pretty solid. Maybe then grab Ciron Black in rd2 or another good LT, or even trade back in the 1st to get one. But this Dan williams kid is legit. Look for his name to be moving up on draft boards soon...
