  1. I gotta think anyone who doesn't understand why the man is pointing out that a SELF IMPOSED disadvantage could potentially have had negative consequences, is trying really really hard not to get it.
  2. You better eat a big breakfast this Sunday.
  3. There were a few articles about it at the time. I'd love to go back and find them, but I'm not going to.
  4. I'm not sure how this Pears bashing got started but it's being greatly overstated. He's not a premier RT by any stretch, he's had a few plays where he really blew it, but he's usually pretty decent. As the 4th or 5th best blocker on your line he's more than fine & if LG is significantly upgraded that's what he'll be. I'd say he's slightly better than Urbik overall.
  5. I have to think the 6 are trolling. I can't see how any Bills fan could want to lose to the Pats*.
  6. Are there 99 people with you on whose behalf you're posting?
  7. I have a problem with how this gets treated. It's not as if bad luck just happened to strike. He made a bad decision that got him injured. Giving him a pass on that is no different from giving him a pass on an INT IMNSHO.
  8. I don't agree with that either. I'd say a top 10 pick needs to be an impact player, and I'd say 1700 yds from scrimmage makes an impact,
  9. Oh they care. They care very much. Tom Brady takes great delight in defeating the Bills. It has come to my attention that Brady himself has a profile & posts on this very site because he takes such great delight in our anguish.
  10. I'm not suggesting 1st rd. Viable options have come in rds 2-4 in recent years, & taking one of those guys doesn't preclude you from starting EJ next year or even the year after that & so on. It just gives you a low cost contingency plan.
  11. One thought about drafting CJ: It's usually described as a squandered luxury pick but I disagree. Chan had a vision of his offense that included "waterbug" RB as a key component, there wasn't one on the roster, and when one w/ freakish talent was available he pulled the trigger. Last year's production (1700+ yds from scrimmage) indicate it wasn't a bad move. It's just unfortunate that his running style isn't as good a fit in this offense.
  12. I don't have connections deep within the organization so I can't say you're wrong, but this seems to me to be an inexplicable decision if true. Why would they not draft a QB? There's no reason not to.
  13. Don't let the nice guy facade fool you. Eli can kick ass.
  14. I bet Thad could take EJ in a fight.
  15. The other guy was probably talking ****. Until I hear otherwise I'm giving Woods the benefit of the doubt.
  16. Not sure why you felt the need to post this.
  17. This is a message board thread, not the ancient yuletide carol.
  18. Cost benefit analysis is the correct answer. Until you quantify the harm it's impossible to have a meaningful discussion on the matter.
  19. At this point I view a win against NE as a substantial consolation prize. I'd rather have a playoff berth, but beating Tom Brady is a close second.
  20. I wish I knew what corporations support GLAAD so we can boycott them. I'm all for tolerance, but that's a two way street. These in-your-face mother!@#$ers want to have their cake and eat it too. I'm not even christian and this irks me. If Christians stood up for themselves the way GLAAD does these corporate execs wouldn't be so quick to acquiesce and cater to their whimsical demands.
