  1. That's not even what I said, and I'm not going to rehash it here. I already went through this with the retards over at the toilet bowl of a website known as BBMB. I'll put it as simply as I can and it's the last I'll say on the matter. Every player drafted costs the team drafting him a pick. If we'd drafted Watkins at 9 he would have cost 1 first round pick. The fact that we spent an additional 1st round pick (& 4th) to move up to draft him means that we now have 2 first round picks (and a 4th) invested in Watkins. It's an indisputable fact. That it's even debated helps me understand how a guy peddling Obamanomics can find himself in the White House.
  2. I assume you're joking. To acquire the pick used for Watkins we traded this year's first, next year's first, and next year's 4th. The only thing we ultimately received in exchange for those 3 picks is Watkins. Thus, the acquisition of Watkins cost us 3 picks, 2 of which were firsts. I sincerely hope you're just yanking my chain.
  3. And you claim you're not a liberal.
  4. I think there was one poster a few pages back who had reservations about it. You should probably back-track and call him out. This aggression should not be allowed to stand.
  5. I'm just glad you don't have that problem.
  6. I'm still trying to figure out what the point of this thread is. It is apparently not to openly discuss the McDonnell conviction, but rather to make a point. I just don't know what that point is.
  7. I agree. The scathing indictments of Sam and his sexuality that are littered throughout this thread are really beyond the pale.
  8. Along these lines, I'm curious what the political breakdown among those who claim Watkins didn't cost us 2 firsts is. It sounds like Obamanomics to me, but I suspect blind homerism transcends political identity.
  9. Now this is productive and well thought out analysis. You just can't argue with this logic. Because government revenues are the ultimate end. Do you know how corporations are taxed?
  10. Using the term "butt hurt" like that is at least as offensive as joking about lisps. I'm ashamed of you.
  11. I'm assuming those calling Robinson a bust before the first game of his rookie season didn't read up on him pre-draft. Word on him was that he was raw, but with freakish physical attributes that could enable him to develop into an Orlando Pace type talent. The fact that he's not starting in the season opener isn't much of a story.
  12. I'm not necessarily referring to what came out at trial.
  13. Throwing the wife under the bus? By all accounts his wife is a money grubbing B word that was neck deep in all of this. I support this move. I wish IL would follow suit and investigate a sweetheart land deal provided for a former state senator by a slumlord for helping to push legislation through. Rumor has it his wife also got a high paying no-show job on account of his position. We need an investigation.
  14. If the TV tells us it matters the bulk of the electorate will believe.
  15. No offense dude, but the Bills could trade their D-line for a punter and you'd defend it.
  16. See my point.
  17. I wasn't joking, but I was really wasted at the time.
  18. Even I find this offensive. I hope you didn't know it was a hoax when you started this thread.
  19. Are there actually Bills fans defending the failure to draft Russell Wilson? Are we really going to pretend it's 20/20 hindsight when half the board was completely stoked when they heard we'd moved up because we figured Wilson was the obvious pick? To me that blunder ranks right up there with benching Flutie, dropping Bledsoe, and drafting Maybin. It was !@#$ing stupid. Only the most irrationally blinded of ODB apologists could possibly defend that move.
  20. Well I was hoping he'd do the neighborly thing and offer to let me use his shower, but apparently he's going to make me beg.
  21. How do you determine which offenses warrant removal?
  22. It wasn't the plays he ran. It was leaving him in when he was limping around on a gimp leg. He broke his new toy, now Snyder's desperately hoping it can be fixed. Link?
