  1. My mower with the Briggs and Stratton is a champ. Still runs after the episodes I just described. The weed eater is another story. That's just silly. Although in light of how this turned out I suppose I should change the thread title.
  2. I feel your pain. My wife decided to mow the lawn while I was at work (God bless her) so I told her to check the oil. Apparently she doesn't understand the concept of the dipstick because she filled it to the top. It must run in the family b/c her brother mowed the lawn when we let him stay with us and did the same damn thing. Come to think of it I should probably give Craftsman some credit because I was able to get that mower running again after both of those incidents.
  3. Must have just been a defective unit. The new one cranked right up and is working fine.
  4. Oil in it, water running through it. It's my second Craftsman pressure washer.
  5. Just returned it. In fairness to Sears they swapped it out no problem. Hopefully it was just a one off.
  6. Just bought and assembled a brand new Craftsman pressure washer with a Honda engine. I followed the directions to a T, checked the oil twice, and cranked it. It ran for 5 minutes, gave off a horrible smell, and stopped. Engine locked up and pull start won't budge. Absolute POS. No wonder Sears is going out of business.
  7. A President can't usually do much to help the economy, but he can do a whole lot to !@#$ it up. And it's not a matter of those stats being lies, it's a matter of them being cherry picked and manipulated. As I said before, using that kind of analysis I could show that Fitz was more effective than Jim Kelly.
  8. I don't disagree with you at all. I just wish we as a society would chill the !@#$ out with stuff like that and not be so quick to grab our pitch forks. The employers are just reacting to the climate.
  9. I get it. That's kind of the point. There was a day and a time when Americans valued open discourse which meant allowing speech you disagree with because it's preferable to the alternative. Now whenever someone says something slightly outside the mainstream PC line, we the public demand to see them punished. We can't have them arrested because of the 1st amendment, so we punish unpopular speech by attacking their ability to earn a living. I find this aspect of our emotionally charged, intellectually vacant, narcissistic pop culture far more disturbing than a play by play guy saying something I may disagree with.
  10. Tampa Bob & his 53 posts chimed in too. I feel like I'm reading Lord of the Rings.
  11. 49ers Suspend Announcer for Expressing Opinion on Rice Incident. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/news/ted-robinson-suspended-2-games-022400695.html Dude said the wife was partially to blame for refusing to cooperate with police. Apparently the network hadn't told him what the only permissible take was. Welcome to the new America: where mob rule rules and no unpopular speech goes unpunished.
  12. Yeah, I saw it. What's your point. If you said you're mad at Ray for doing it that would make sense, but that's not what you said, so it's obviously something else that's troubling you. I was just trying to figure out what it was so I could understand you better. You brought her up.
  13. Just to be clear, am I disgusting because I asked what you were upset about or because of the pic?
  14. We know. He's posting from underneath Peace Bridge.
  15. What is it exactly that you're mad about? And pic?
  16. You've done it now.
  17. You part the waters, the same ones that I'm thirsty for.
  18. Run along, Chester spike and chester:
  19. Rumor has it he's a little banged up. A couple of good hard hits might take the pep out of his step.
  20. Going for irony?
  21. For some reason that no one can explain the NFL is now primarily responsible for the administration of crime and punishment for acts of its employees done outside the scope of employment.
  22. Mucho gusto me llamo Bradley, I'm hornier than Ron Jeremy. Edit: For those of you who don't speak Mexican, the first part means "pleased to meet you, my name is Bradley"
  23. I'm a cold heartbreaker fit to burn and I'll rip your heart in two, and I'll leave you lying on the bed.
  24. My point hasn't been to defend Roger Goodell. I keep asking over and over against who he breached a duty to and no one has been able to answer. You'd think people who were outraged about something could explain what they are outraged about and why. Perhaps you can answer.
  25. No, you toke the bong. You toot the lines.
