  1. I'm making the thread more interesting. We can discuss whether Manwel sucks, or we can steer this thread to a more interesting and less discussed issue of whether he should run more, which is within the theme of this thread.
  2. So, do you think it's wise to use EJ as a pocket passer when what potentially sets him apart is his ability to run?
  3. This topic is actually somewhat different from the others, but I wouldn't expect someone resorting to the ever pathetic "yer a racist" argument to have the cognitive ability to grasp the distinguishing aspects.
  4. Always a curious goal, because what would "justice" for Kevin look like. It's a tough case to make because criminal negligence isn't a mere departure from reasonableness, but would have to rise to a level of recklessness. Interestingly, this could be one of the rare cases where a criminal conviction may be easier to obtain than a civil suit, depending on the law of the jurisdiction. In some states any negligence on the part of the victim that contributes to the harm bars recovery. In most others the vic must be either less than 50% at fault Or less culpable than the person he seeks relief from. But in a criminal case that defense isn't usually available, although the burden of proof is still higher. Based on what's been reported I'd say the chance of getting Stuart on either is slim to none.
  5. Because it's the most painful Bills decision since benching our QB for an inexperienced prospect in the playoffs. It's like the time you ditched the plain girl who was into you in 6th grade just to watch her turn into a bomb shell in HS. But it's actually worse for those of us who knew she was going to be hot but watched our conscious self pass her up for an average girl with big breasts whose belly quickly caught up to her chest. It's just a hard one to put behind you.
  6. We won't have any idea until he's had 3-5 years behind an all-pro line with pro-bowl receivers and a boss TE. Oh yeah, and a top defense and dominant running game. And a proven OC & HC. And a good QB coach.
  7. I don't want to agree with TB, but he has stumbled across an interesting point. One of EJ's greatest assets is his ability to run. Let's be honest, as a pocket passer he's pretty mediocre. If he can make teams pay with his legs he's likely to win a whole lot more games. I get the idea of avoiding hits, but what's the point of drafting a dual threat QB if you're not going to take advantage of his strengths? Another way of putting it is who cares if he's healthy if he's not doing much to help you win. Somehow other QBs like Kaepernick, Wilson, Newton, etc, can run without going on IR. Why can't Manwel? That hit in CLE was largely the result of hesitation and awkward evasion. If it was one bad play he could work on it. If he's so crippled that he has to eliminate a major strength from his game because he can't do it without getting broken, that's a big concern.
  8. If we lose to Houston I'll eat lentils for a year.
  9. I'm not sure either, although many argued that doing so would have been the height of stupidity. Apparently practice squad cbs are far more valuable than QB prospects.
  10. That argument can become circular though if you judge who the better QBs are based on QB rating. I think Rob Johnson had a slightly higher rating than Flutie due to his tendency to take a sack rather than throw the ball away. A system that rewards that kind of poor decision making is inherently flawed.
  11. Sure, but she's wearing a tube top the whole time and she's not getting my info.
  12. I'm still hoping we can re-sign Hughes.
  13. Reminds me of my first interaction with Tom. Don't take it personally. Being called an idiot by Tom is something of a rite of passage around here.
  14. Assuming it's not a trolling profile of gatorboy's there's no need to be rude. I think we all understood his point.
  15. I'm not a pro, but as a weekend warrior I have some thoughts: The area over the garage may present challenges for adding a room. Unless you have trusses ceiling joists (which I would doubt) or a beam that reduces the span of your garage, it may be expensive to get engineered floor joists that can span that distance and give enough support for a floor. As far as the wall you want to knock down, you need to first determine if it is a load bearing wall. If so you won't be knocking it down without significant expense if at all. Roofing can be very tricky but not always. If you've got some pics of the area and roof you're looking to renovate I could tell you more. Also, the cost to remedy uneven floors will depend on the cause, the quality and type of flooring. It's hard to estimate without a better idea of what you're working with.
  16. In the parts where dude hails from, let's just say they've worn out many a set of knee pads servicing the chosen one.
  17. The official Bills website is garbage.
  18. Do you have a point? Race? They are old white guys.
  19. No, he was mean to Jonathan Martin.
  20. RG3's as broken as Trent Edwards. The only reason he started over Cousins is b/c Snyder's not willing to accept the reality of the sunk cost.
  21. He said the season is hardly over, meaning it's not over yet.
  22. That was the SJ pick
  23. I'd come out more clearly to say just exactly what I think of you, but whatever I'd have to say would be in violation of of the TOS. But thank you for reminding us that we're now living in a world where you can't fairly criticize anyone who can claim minority status, especially if they're black, without some :censored: calling you a racist. Thank God we have such consistent, intelligent, and enlightened people such as yourself to generalize those who might otherwise be generalizing. Give yourself a round of applause.
