  1. Lynch to Detroit, A third round pick to Chicago, Olsen to us.
  2. Not so, Satan is a better dresser, can get laid without chloroform , and can make a speech not considered a war-crime.
  3. The correct quote was "I AM FOR THE SATANIC DEATH CULT CENTER AT FOX NEWS HQ AND INSIDE THE OFFICES OF DICK ARMEY AND NEWT GINGRICH-and all the GOP (God of Plagues) MALFARE FREAKS," not a threat, just showing support for republicans freedom of religious worship.- not that all republicans worship Satan, in fact I know that Dick Cheney doesn't worship Satan, it's more like a mutual admiration.
  4. There is a tried and true method for stopping people saying you suck- stop sucking, btw the corresponding characters in that video are as following Clayton is the dirtbag from Attorney General's office, you're the Whiner and I'm Bruce Willis making fun of you.
  5. Actually I think he might be a better fit to play 3-4 end, it plays better to his strengths (good quickness) and hides his weakness (getting mauled by big guards)
  6. Not one of your better thought out arguments - like saying a pea shooter and a machine gun are not materially different because they both shoot a projectile, the very fact that tailing a suspect uses a lot of resources constrains abuse.
  7. I've only watched in the second game where he looked ho-hum below average- but I know Raider Fans thought that Walker was a much better OT than Green so I've never expected Green to be anything other than a journeyman OT. If he truly stinks I'm guessing Calloway and Merdith will get a shot.
  8. I do blame Obama, because while this issue isn't his fault directly, he has done nothing to reverse, halt or even slow down the destruction of our right to privacy, and other Constitutional protections- and has done nothing to reverse the crazy increase of executive power or to increase government transparency. Of course having fear and loathing of 99.9% of Republicans (except Paul) and utter contempt for all but a handful of the Democrats makes it hard for me to get excited about politics in general- the great choice of the lesser of two evils vote, the third party throw away vote, or the non-vote vote.
  9. I guess this is news for anyone not paying attention but I thought most people knew that there has been massive corruption and collusion with the Banks, Rating agencies, Accounting firms, Hedge funds, Wall Street, the S.E.C and the FED- If bank assets were given real world value many would be insolvent and this despite the FED propping them up by lending at almost zero interest and buying bad assets (some worth less than 5 cents on the dollar) at 98-100cent on the dollar- a generous interpretation of the situation might be a fake it until you make it desperation attempt to stave off global economic collapse and a new dark age but I think it's more about people trying to steal as much as possible before the collapse and they need time to turn paper into tangible assets.
  10. Parrish = Welker -(being able to break arm tackles + being able to throw a decent block + having his head in the game at all times)
  11. while I don't agree with all of Ron Paul's positions he always strikes me as an honest guy who has the Country's best interests at heart.
  12. Does anyone know how many contractors are going to be in Iraq - I've seen numbers of between 100,000 and 150,000 and I've read that the number is going to increase.
  13. I like Ross Tucker but if you play a lot of 3-4 (jests, doltfins, chowderheads) teams then Center is right up there with LT as the most important Oline position- in order LT, C, RT and it depends on whether you are a power running team then (RG) or mostly a passing team then (LG) which guard position is more important.
  14. Just read a little blurb about Wood getting time at center as Hangartner got a veteran day off, and it got me thinking about whether the Oline would be better off with Wood at center full time - last year I noticed that the Bills seemed to play better against a 4-3 defense as compared to a 3-4 defense, I chalked it up to the fact that they were more use to playing against a 4-3 because that is what we play but now I'm wondering if it doesn't have more to do with Hangartner at center.
  15. After reading about him it sounds like a good pickup, big enough to block, can at least catch the ball- that's about as good as you're going to do with out making a trade.
  16. Well I hope that mug wasn't voluntary- and by voluntary does he mean that people on welfare have the choice of keeping the benefits they have now as opposed to going to relocation camps or does it mean they have the voluntary choice of relocation or nothing? I like that the prison guards would be retrained as counselors, do you think they mean the normal 4 year degree or a two week training course- I have the feeling it will look a little like this http://www.laughness.com/drill-sergeant-therapist.1407 I don't mind public works, and park services either, I think it's the relocation process that is neither humane or well thought out.
  17. What a mug if I was casting for a new James Bond villain he would be top 3 on the list
  18. It's mostly about the QB and offensive line if they step up then the team will be in the hunt for a wild card if not then it will be a long long season.
  19. I like what I've seen of Chad Jackson, he seems like a legit #2 NFL WR a little faster and more physical then Steve Johnson- I'm also pretty impressed with J.Bell, when the Bills picked him up I watched his college highlight videos and said wow- then I said "yeah but division 2" but he's done the same type of things here so far and he seems to have a well rounded game I was as impressed with his blocking as much as his running. I wouldn't be surprised if we went with 4 RBs this year with either Lynch or Jackson being traded.
  20. it is now Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 7:10:39 AM in Iran
  21. "* 1949: CIA backs military coup deposing elected government of Syria. * 1953: CIA helps overthrow the democratically-elected Mossadeq government in Iran (which had nationalized the British oil company) leading to a quarter-century of dictatorial rule by the Shah, Mohammed Reza Pahlevi. * 1956: U.S. cuts off promised funding for Aswan Dam in Egypt after Egypt receives Eastern bloc arms. 1956: Israel, Britain, and France invade Egypt. U.S. does not support invasion, but the involvement of NATO allies severely diminishes Washington's reputation in the region. * 1958: U.S. troops land in Lebanon to preserve "stability." * 1960s (early): U.S. unsuccessfully attempts assassination of Iraqi leader, Abdul Karim Qassim. * 1963: U.S. reported to give Iragi Ba'ath party (soon to be headed by Saddam Hussein) names of communists to murder, which they do with vigor. * 1967-: U.S. blocks any effort in the Security Council to enforce SC Resolution 244, calling for Israeli withdrawal from territories occupied in the 1967 war. * 1970: Civil war between Jordan and PLO. Israel and U.S. prepare to intervene on side of Jordan if Syria backs PLO. * 1972: U.S. blocks Sadat's efforts to reach a peace agreement with Egypt. * 1973: U.S. military aid enables Israel to turn the tide in war with Syria and Egypt. * 1973-75: U.S. supports Kurdish rebels in Iraq. When Iran reaches an agreement with Iraq in 1975 and seals the border, Iraq slaughters Kurds and U.S. denies them refuge. Kissinger secretly explains that "covert action should not be confused with missionary work." * 1978-79: Iranians begin demonstrations against the Shah. U.S. tells Shah it supports him "without reservation" and urges him to act forcefully. Until the last minute, U.S. tries to organize military coup to save the Shah, but to no avail. * 1979-88: U.S. begins covert aid to Mujahideen in Afghanistan six months before Soviet invasion. Over the next decade U.S. provides more than $3 billion in arms and aid. * 1980-88: Iran-lraq war. When Iraq invades Iran, the U.S. opposes any Security Council action to condemn the invasion. U.S. removes Iraq from its list of nations supporting terrorism and allows U.S. arms to be transferred to Iraq. U.S. lets Israel provide arms to Iran and in 1985 U.S. provides arms directly (though secretly) to Iran. U.S. provides intelligence information to Iraq. Iraq uses chemical weapons in 1984; U.S. restores diplomatic relations with Iraq. 1987 U.S. sends its navy into the Persian Guff, taking Iraq's side; an aggressive U.S. ship shoots down an Iranian civilian airliner, killing 290. * 1981, 1986: U.S. holds military maneuvers off the coast of Libya with the clear purpose of provoking Qaddafi. In 1981, a Libyan plane fires a missile and two Libyan planes were subsequently shot down. In 1986, Libya fires missiles that land far from any target and U.S. attacks Libyan patrol boats, killing 72, and shore installations. When a bomb goes off in a Berlin nightclub, killing two, the U.S. charges that Qaddafi was behind it (possibly true) and conducts major bombing raids in Libya, killing dozens of civilians, including Qaddafi's adopted daughter. * 1982: U.S. gives "green light" to Israeli invasion of Lebanon, where more than 10,000 civilians were killed. U.S. chooses not to invoke its laws prohibiting Israeli use of U.S. weapons except in self-defense. * 1983: U.S. troops sent to Lebanon as part of a multinational peacekeeping force; intervene on one side of a civil war. Withdraw after suicide bombing of marine barracks. * 1984: U.S.-backed rebels in Afghanistan fire on civilian airliner. * 1988: Saddam Hussein kills many thousands of his own Kurdish population and uses chemical weapons against them. The U.S. increases its economic ties to Iraq. * 1990-91: U.S. rejects diplomatic settlement of the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait (for example, rebuffing any attempt to link the two regional occupations, of Kuwait and Palestine). U.S. Ieads international coalition in war against Iraq. Civilian infrastructure targeted. To promote "stability" U.S. refuses to aid uprisings by Shi'ites in the south and Kurds in the north, denying the rebels access to captured Iraqi weapons and refusing to prohibit Iraqi helicopter flights. * 1991-: Devastating economic sanctions are imposed on Iraq. U.S. and Britain block all attempts to lift them. Hundreds of thousands die. Though Security Council stated sanctions were to be lifted once Hussein's programs to develop weapons of mass destruction were ended, Washington makes it known that the sanctions would remain as long as Saddam remains in power. Sanctions strengthen Saddam's position. * 1993-: U.S. launches missile attack on Iraq, claiming self-defense against an alleged assassination attempt on former president Bush two months earlier. * 1998: U.S. and U.K. bomb Iraq over weapons inspections, even though Security Council is just then meeting to discuss the matter. * 1998: U.S. destroys factory producing half of Sudan's pharmaceutical supply, claiming retaliation for attacks on U.S. embassies in Tanzania and Kenya and that factory was involved in chemical warfare. U.S. later acknowledges there is no evidence for the chemical warfare charge. " But the main reasons of course was U.S. support of Israel and Military bases in Saudi Arabia if you were to believe OBL
  22. Only making a little fun of the fact that some don't get that there is a time difference, oh and the horses ass Bolton's deadline.
  23. it's Aug 21st about 2am in Iran right now so I'd say they got 6-12 hours depending on how much vodka is being consumed.
  24. Sometimes I think that's the last thing we want, Al-Qaeda doesn't do very much and gives us justification to send our military all over central Asia, the middle east, and Africa, why would you want to give up a card like that.
  25. True, while we thought Bush was a idiot and Cheney evil incarnate, we wish more of our progressives had Bush's stubbornness or Cheney's diabolically clever ability to manipulate.
