  1. So who do you want? A person, not a concept. Cat got your tongue?
  2. A lot of these Smith posts make no sense. Alex Smith is a good starting calibre NFL QB. Something not seen in Blo for a long long time. With AS, another good draft and FA we compete for the division next year. He'd be the perfect mentor to Nate and whoever else we draft. What's not to like? Last time he went for two seconds. Might be worth on second today, or a third and a seventh? If Andy takes a third great. Dont know about this year's QB class. Some say that last year's with Mitch, Watson and Mahomes was quite a bit better. That could be true. To me Rosen will be a good pocket passer. Darnold is very raw and has evident flaws but a higher ceiling. The most intriguing guy is Josh Allen. He has the highest ceiling. If he can read a defence, go through his progressions and process what's going on around him in real time he will be great. I expect that's what scouts and GMs are trying to figure out. I don't think Beane would draft a diminutive QB so Mayfield is not happening IMO. Don't know that Rudolph is good enuf to be taken as "the guy". Maybe they take a kid they like on day three. Would love to know what the thinking is at OBD.
  3. Not imo. McD is young and inexperienced and as a HC makes some mistakes, but he's a good coach who gets his team to buy in. I also think this admin will do a good job of evaluating talent in the draft and in FA. We can expect to be better next year.
  4. Bills are on their way back. Will be better next year. Target? Division champs!
  5. Well I continue to hold out hope for Nate. But I do wish I was as shrewd a judge of talent as some of those guys who already know NP will always suck and should be driven out of the league.
  6. Not possible- I'm a very stable genius. Maybe the biglyist one ever.
  7. Thats how cults and the White House work.
  8. Actually this is true. Bills WR do a terrible job of helping out their QB. Happens to Tyrod all the time on broken plays.
  9. I'm not complaining. I got my playoff fix.
  10. It's ok our D has a better chance of scoring
  11. Should be up 7. Rookie HC, demented OC.
  12. Really don't understand this empty backfield stuff on short and goal.
  13. I agree. IMO AS is a good QB and would represent a major upgrade. Don't know what the plan is at OBD however.
  14. Huh? I'm totally laid back and I don't remember blaming any QBs. My question really really really is about Goff's deep ball. Go back and check out the play that was being discussed (if you have it). Sammy has his guy beat and has to hold up. He boxed the corner out of the play very well but did not complete the catch, which he should have. I've seen Goff underthrow him a number of times this year. If the Rams don't give him a contract they will need to find another guy who is a threat in the vertical passing game. Otherwise Woodsie and Kupp (who are possession receivers) will not be handing in such good report cards next year. And that's really just a comment on the Rams O. Now if you want my view of Sammy, I think he was a legit high first rounder. But he was only worth one first round pick, not two. I think Doug was the only one of the 32 GMs who would have done what he did, especially given the strength of the class. You don't do what Doug did for anyone not named Calvin or Julio. I never thought Sammy was a generational talent. You really can't blame the player for that. OTOH Doug did get it right when he picked RW in the second round. He's legit as a # 2 receiver, he's a great blocker (despite his infraction yesterday). Just a good, hard nosed football player. Always liked him a lot. Go Bills!!!
  15. I said he should have caught that ball (in case you didn't notice). The point I was making had more to do with Goff than Sammy. I see him often underthrowing Sammy after he has beaten his man. He's a good short/intermediate passer but it's got me wondering about his long ball accuracy and arm strength.
  16. Agree but something I've noticed this year is that as their long ball threat Goff constantly underthrows him. Raises at least a question in my mind as to Goff's armstrength long ball accuracy.
