So, I went into Famous Dave's (BBQ chain) to pick up a TOGO order and I strike up a conversation with the young, female cashier. She claims:
- 20-25% of people leave tips.
- They split all tips with the people working the TOGO station. At that moment it was three.
- They get paid "a little more" than the dining room servers, but LESS THAN MINIMUM WAGE.
This is only one data point and doesn't pertain to all other places that have TOGO. But it shows there are popular places that pay the TOGO staff less than minimum wage.
Now, I suppose I could have been a royal jackass and wave a Droid proudly displaying an electronic copy of a book by "Emily Post", dead for over a half-century, and tell her "Sorry, Emily Post says that I'm not obligated to tip you..., but could you include some extra sauce please?"
I chose to leave a tip instead. She smiled big and said thank you...
You could have also used the Droid to snap a pic. Was she hot?

You know I am not going to worry about it and I am not going to put #'s on it. All I want to see is improvement and legitimate hope for the future. I pray the fans don't give this kid a ton of crap IF he doesn't do what Scam Newton did or the guys from last year did numbers wise. This TEAM is not ready to make a Seattle/ San Fran turn around yet nor even a Washington one. But I do feel we are now starting to get there with this years draft, the coaching staff etc.
I agree with PTR, I think we can win 8 games this year. Personally It would not shock me at all with any competent coaching and the fact Manuel can throw a deep ball, if we won 9 games this year and challenged for a Wild Card spot.

Even if Fitz was still here, I'd be shocked at anything less than 9 wins. The team is better, as is the coaching staff. If EJ plays smart (I'm confident that he will) and doesn't turn the ball over, this is a much better team than a year ago. The wins and losses hinge on the defense way more than they do on EJ Manuel, IMO.

Buddy Nix said they wanted Stevie in the slot and so it is. It should help Manuel having a veteran who gets open in close range. I do agree that it might be more physically demanding on Stevie and the guy has been constantly nagged by leg injuries for years so we will see if he is up to the task.
What, exactly, does Buddy Nix have to do with where Steve Johnson lines up?

I've worn current player jerseys the last several years. Getting away from that and in an attempt to chase away the evil spirits, this offseason I've acquired a B. Smith #78 and a Flutie #7 that will become my regular rotation.
Flutie? Flutie??? I would wear a Ko Simpson jersey first.

I have a grill down there and often throw brats brats on it, butter a pita, and use either Sticky Fingers Carolina BBQ (a mustard based bbq sauce) or that vinegarette on the pita brat. You can see the pita and brats at the bottom in the tray.
It is also if I get some good down there and want to kick it up.
It will take me two months to drink those Mtn Dews and about 4 months to drink all the Amps, Red Bulls, Etc. They are buy one get one free right now so I bought a lot and got a lot free.
The Mtn Dew's are the daily drinker, have about 2 or 3 a day.
The Amps are for when I really have to get it to the grind stone.
The Redbulls are for when I am up early and tired to get it going that much faster.
The Rage's are for when I am completely worn after a long weekend or week or more of work.
The 5 Hr Energy is for when I need to keep up a tempo and the body.
I also take Choline pills which help with focus and mental sharpness, to put it simply. I know a good bit about supplements, my GF knows the encyclopedia of them
