  1. so you can't give up on the fact you were blatantly wrong? lol.

And I stated elsewhere that I was repeating what I heard on the radio, so yes... the news guy, there's one. Go away.

You're delusional. Provide a link with a quote and you'll save face and I'll admit I was wrong. Don't provide a link with a quote and you'd be further ahead if you stopped making nearly complete ass of yourself. You look like a clown ... oh .. wait ...

  2. I honestly think the AFC is full of mediocre teams. Houston is the only team that I believe, with any degree of certainty, is a sure-thing division winner.

Just going down the divisions, I'll pick who I think will finish 1-2, in no particular order.

    East: Buffalo, NE

    North: Baltimore, Cincy

    South: Houston, Indy

    West: San Diego, Denver

I think the wheels come off in Denver because they have a 37-year-old QB, a depleted D and very little depth. I know, it's Manning ... but he's still pushing 40 and this is still the NFL.

Homer alert: I really like Buffalo's chances to actually win the East this year. New England is faced with a less than 100% Brady with two of his three of his favorite targets gone and the third one injured.

The North looks like a tough division, but as I said earlier, I think Houston is the only gimme. I like Indy's chances, but Luck could suffer a sophomore slump, who knows (I doubt that, by the way, but it's a possibility)? Cleveland could be a sleeper. I like Weeden, even though he's in his early 50s. If his receivers can catch the ball this year, they could be good.

Baltimore's D is a question mark and Flacco ... well, Flacco is just another Fitz with better luck. Cincy, like our Bills, is headed in the right direction.

All in all, the NFC is clearly the superior conference. There are probably 4-5 NFC teams that are better than the AFC's best team (Houston???).

Gonna be a VERY interesting season.

    Go Bills!!

  3. Are you still at it.... Give it up already.... you said nobody... as in no one... I believe that was an incorrect statement, move on already... wow you have issues....

So you're saying you can't name one person who reported that Jairus Byrd is seeking a trade; which is the opposite of what you'd originally stated. Thank you. Carry on.

  4. Let's try this again ... Christ, I feel like Annie Sullivan, here.

"Appearing on Thursday Night Countdown, ESPN's Chris Mortensen reported the Bills have had "dialogue" with other teams about trading FS Jairus Byrd."

You see the bold (that's the part that's darker than the rest of the quote) words, right?

Can you please pull out the words that say that Jairus Byrd is seeking a trade?

  5. Wow why is everyone bashing Homey the Clown?? He's right for the most part anyway.

If there is ill will already, obviously he's unhappy.

Ian is reporting that he is open to one. What is this really implying? Read between the lines guys. He obviously mentionted it to his agent, friends, and probably even to Ian. That's how Ian believes Byrd is open to a trade.

Anyway keep bashing him, cuz it's funny. Uncalled for. But funny.

I present to you three very good reason that the bashing is very much called for ...

    I don't give a flying F__K what you think

link for all you link whiners.

ram that up your pipe you know it all...

This ... because he was called out for providing bum info.

Again, nice try, but you yourself has proven once again you have no idea what your even responding to. You said in plain words "No one, as in, less than one person in the world." did you not? Well it was very easy to prove your blindly ignorant statement wrong, and now that you look foolish you try and save face with more garbage. Move on pal, you can't handle it. Your more than welcome on making it easy to prove you wrong.

Who reported it, Homey? I'll give you a hint. The answer rhymes with, "no one."

  6. Byrd will go to the team that gives him the most money. He doesn't want to play for any particular team, per se. He wants to play for the team dumb enough (my humble opinion) to overpay him. So of course he's "open to" a trade. He's also "open to" staying in Buffalo .... if they pay him more than he's worth.

That is not the same as "seeking" a trade.

The only thing he's seeking is a huge payday.

    And who can blame him?

  7. Nice try... I'm glad you believe that... as in I don't give a flying F__K what you think, but since you're so sure... here's what chris Mortensen said last night....

http://www.rotoworld...307/jairus-byrd link for all you link whiners...

So ram that up your pipe you know it all...

I'm proud of myself for being able to deal with such a stupid person and not insult him.

"Appearing on Thursday Night Countdown, ESPN's Chris Mortensen reported the Bills have had "dialogue" with other teams about trading FS Jairus Byrd."

That, my friend, says the Bills are discussing trades. I does not, however, state that Byrd wants to be traded.

Thank you for doing my legwork to prove yourself to be less than bright.

  8. Beat me to it.

On topic: I have a male colleague who drinks that ****. There is no end to the grief me and the other male members (male members: LOLZ) of our staff give him (staff, LOLZ).

My brother-in-law drinks Labatt with lime. We also make fun of him every chance we get ... and that includes my sister (his wife)!

  9. Lol, you need to do a little research before you make yourself look foolish, it was just reported this morning on espn that Byrd as asked to be traded.

cute.... and no, he, meaning Byrd, the player, has made it public... IE openly... stated, meaning said to someone able to report it to the media, that he wants... meaning would like to have happen... a trade.... meaning play for another team....

    clear enough now for you?

Go "fix" and mis-quote then change someone else's post that needs it.

By the way, since this has rubbed so many of the wrong way, bashing me doesn't make it not true or even go away. This holdout was not good, and just because he signed his tender doesn't make me feel good about the whole situation period. so flame away internet tough guys, you're hilarious.

    You are one angry clown!!

No one has reported that Byrd has requested a trade. Not even ESPN (which wouldn't mean crap, anyway). Being open to something and requesting something are completely different situations.

Byrd is at the point in his career where he's looking for the big payday. It's that simple. It's likely the Bills will NOT overpay for the 5th or 6th best safety in the league - smart for the Bills. It's also likely that Byrd will accept a trade to a team that WILL be stupid enough to overpay him - smart for Byrd.

Nobody is wrong in this. It's just the nature of the beast.

  10. A couple observations:

    1. We beat the Jets handily to finish the season last year, so a let down game in Week 1 is definitely a possibility.

1a. Kate Upton calling me on my cell, saying, "I am in the Super 8 Motel down the street. Room 216. Naked and starving for YOU, Gugny. We only have 4 hours, so hurry," is also a possibility.

    2. Whenever you are in doubt, or can't make up your mind ... ALWAYS read bleacherreport articles ... and think the opposite.
