I actually don't think a good pass rush will matter. My sense is that McKelvin's problems have less to do with coverage and more to do with complete ball "unawareness." He can blanket a guy down the field, but when the ball is thrown in his direction, he either misplays it, commits PI, or the receiver just outmuscles him for the ball. If I am a QB and I see McKelvin in single coverage, I just throw it up in the air.
This is a good assessment of his biggest problem. It's also what I am hoping the new coaching staff has keyed in on, and McKelvin's biggest area of improvement.

Wicked jealous.

That's why I'm not a fan at all. When you can't tell one band from the next what's the point. And I have listened because music is big in my life and because my nephew is so in to it I've listened to a lot of it. Or at least tried to listen to it.
This is always the basis of my argument any time I discuss/debate "the best guitar players," topic.
If I listen to a guitar riff/solo for, say, 5 seconds - and can't determine who it is ... then the player doesn't even belong in the conversation.
I once told him that the best thing his band can do is retain all the rights to their music. Never sign away anything.
PTR
Best story to illustrate how important that is, is Dolly Parton's story about when Elvis' people contacted her people about Elvis recording, "I Will Always Love You." Elvis required that the rights be signed over to him prior to recording it. Dolly said, "thanks, but no thanks. My songs are my songs."
When Whitney Houston did her rendition, it padded Dolly's purse instead of Elvis' estate's wallet.
She is a smart woman.

"If I had 53 sons, they'd look like the 1972 Dolphins ..."

These guys are on their way. They were just voted #2 metal band in New England by some magazine. They play the side stages at festivals like Vans Warped.
PTR
It's a tough genre. There's a lot of competition and, due to the nature of the music, it pretty much all sounds the same. Not a lot of ways to differentiate your band from the others.
I wish them the best of luck. I have a lot of friends who write/record/perform their own tunes. The most talented very, very rarely are the ones who make it. Nearly never. They have to do it for the love of doing it.

I am not a fan of metal like this.
That said .. I really liked this tune.
I think it's mixed pretty well. I like the harmonies.
My only knocks:
In the "singing" parts (with the harmonies), they come off a little "Linkin Park"-ish ... and I absolutely cannot stand Linkin Park.
The bass lines could be a tad busier. I'm cool with basic, but he could do a little more.
The guitar "solo" could have used more balls and it's mixed a little low, in my opinion.
The rest of the song, however, rocks, as far as I'm concerned.
Good for these guys for recording originals and gigging with them.
Best of luck to them!

We have no tight ends, 3-4 rookie WR's, a weird mix of LB's, and a SS who can't cover anyone.
Ummm ... what?

Just re-iterating some previous thoughts, here, but I've always been a believer in McKelvin. The guy has lightning speed and he covers very well. He just needs to turn around to look for the damn ball more. Improved coaching/schemes/pass rush will undoubtedly help McKelvin and Gilmore. I loved the contract extension when it happened and still do. His returning skills are just a sweet bonus.
In short .. Goodwin does not make me rethink the McKelvin deal. It's a fair question, though.
Go Bills!

Curious why you say that. I would think that 1st game against the pats is a game we can afford to lose.
As much as a win would be nice, for a few reasons (standings, momentum, confidence), splitting with NE on the season would be fine by me .... as long as we sweep NYJ and MIA.

What the hell is that supposed to mean...lol
Please finish you sentence...
Ya well most people don't, he's just feeling sorry for himself and needs attention...pathetic
Hey @gugny, any luck on getting the Man "UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU" el chant going in honor of the great Br uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu ce smith? I'll see you in the shout box tomorrow, we can discuss it then! I think you are on to something!
Make no mistake, troll - you are a perfect representation of the recent degradation of this site. Your antics are never funny, always annoying and painfully irrelevant to anything noteworthy, whether football-related or not.
Damond may write with terrible grammar. He may push his site a little too much. But his focus is always clearly to generate attention to his work.
People like you, however - your focus is clearly to generate animosity, create tension and to disrupt any conversation or thread you happen upon.
That ain't cool.

He has no middle name.
He stuck the "S" there to make himself sound smarter.
If he would have just added an "A" to it, he would have sounded Mexican.

Jesus H. Christ on a popsicle stick -- I just found that thread. WTF? He should be banned for that formatting alone.
You notice how Beerball waited until I went blind before he decided to lock it?

Thanks for rambling on and taking time out of my day. PS nobody knows who you are and nobody really cares.
What the hell is wrong with you?

I can't believe this made local news. It was on the front page of my local section a couple days ago. On any given day one walks into Golden Corral, it is always packed ... and 98% of the customers are from Guts-n-Balls.

Can someone please euthanize this thread?

Who won the last post thread?

The '01, '03, '04 Spygate Patriots.
They won all three Super Bowls by 3 points each.
Wouldn't the keyword, here, be "WON?"

Because both have shown so much so far...
Can we get back to EJ being back for the regular season?
God, I hope so, Dorkington.
This Tuel starting talk is getting ridiculous. Now I remember why I normally live in Off the Wall.
