  1. just caught an error. It should be you're. I used your incorrectly
  2. Please tell me your joking. I love Kelly as much as the next guy but if they name him coach we might as well..........
  3. No matter where I go, it is always home. I always hate the complaints about winter. Unless you want to live without any seasons. fires, earthquakes, mud slides, there is winter everywhere. yeah we might have it for a little longer, but I'll take snow over cold rain anyday. Western New York is a great area of the country.
  4. I know. Looking back on it, the Wade era was OK. His problem is that it happened right after the SB years where spoiled Bills fan like me, who were born in the late 70s expected playoffs and superbowls all the time. Boy has this decade changed that. What I would not do for a playoff game now.
  5. A toast to the fans who went to the game and had fun. Although the economy stinks, taxes are high, and winters can be tough, Buffalo is still a great place. Hopefully any reputable coach can see that. GO BILLS
  6. No way he comes here. He is going to have to convince the family. He is using Buffalo to press Carolina. I bet he stays out another year if Fox sticks around. Unless Sal is right about Buffalo being a stable franchise, and the big announcement happens, he is in Carolina or the booth next year But wouldn't it be something.....if he did produce a winner he would be a god (lower case g) in Buffalo.
  7. Best post of 2010 to date. Even though it is heart wrenching torture to cheer for this team most of the time....nearly all it...the good still outweighs the bad. It also keeps you connected with the community if you have moved away and creating newbie fans hopefully, in some way, helps keeps the Bills always in BUFFALO. I can not even fathom my reaction if my two boys did not decide to root for the Bills.....One of those things that my mind just cannot even comprehend; no matter where we live or how bad they stink...it always has to be GO BILLS
  8. I agree that we should not jump to any conclusions and/or make any long term decisions if he does play well, God willing he does. I disagree with everything else. We are in no position to take a QB with an early pick in this year's draft. We have to build the foundation DL OL LB before we go after a QB the following year (if necessary). Any QB in this system and culture, as it stands now, is likely to fail. Lets not say he (Brohm)stinks until we get a good look. We are still a good three years away from fielding a competitive team. I have never seen a team with so many needs. Thus, we can not take the risk of drafting a QB bust and I think most would bust if they had to play under center next year. McClain MLB AL and then DL OL the rest of the draft, maybe WR in late rounds. After we suck again in 10 then a QB. Line and defense gel. 11 we get competitive again and suprise some teams. 12 we are back in the playoffs. I know that some teams like the fish of last year can turn things around right away, this is not such a team or situation. 3 year plan. It sucks but lets be real. We are in the last year of the Decade of Disappointment and this could be the worst team out of all of them. The 4-12 team would give them a run for their money but I think they could even light up this run D particularly with all the injuries. GO BILLS
  9. 1. Front Office 2. Coach Then let chips fall where they may. I think we are going to need at least three years to get this ship headed in the right direction. Obviously, we have OLINE DLINE, QB and LB needs. Don't draft a QB this year. Too much to risks and if he is a bust and then the culture of losing will just drag on longer. Draft a sure thing who can at least start and hopefully make an impact. McClain LB...or Suh if available (likely not). Then O Line and D Line rest of the draft. Following year if Brohm is not the answer then go franchise QB after O line hopefully has a year to gel. Who freakin knows though, there are just so many needs and uncertainties. GO BILLS
  10. I have never really understood why so many people say don't play him because our offensive line sucks and it might somehow damage him. Yes he will probably get the crap kicked out of him, but as long as he is not seriously hurt, one would think the playing time would only help him understand the speed and dynamics of the NFL game and give the fans and more importanly the coaches and future FO (hopefully) a better gauge to see if he is anything. I understand that not playing him last week as the Pats game was a big deal for Fewell and the organization but now it is really just like an early pre-season. I still want the Bills to win, as I don't think any "real" fan cheers for their team to lose for draft picks, but lets see who might be worth keeping in 2010.
  11. How much does Direct TV NFL package costs with HDTV. I get back to the states after four years and although the state of the Bills is terrible, you can not turn your back on them. Although we deserve better they are still our Bills. Maybe next Year. GO BILLS
  12. This has to be one of the dumbest posts I have ever read. If you honestly think that what you, myself, or any other arm chair QB puts on this post makes a difference in where a FA goes or who coaches you are crazy. First, this isn't the team's website, you brainless moran and this forom is just a place to learn some stats, swap ideas and commiserate with other Bills fan. As a Bills fan living far away from WNY it is also a way to reconnect with home. But to think for a minute that a FA is not going to come to Buffalo because of what I or anyone else post on here is stupid. You pay them enough and they come. You change the culture of losing over the last 10 years and they come. What I or anyone else puts on this website really does't matter. Enjoy being sick you dumba$$
  13. I go Maybin because his pick just reinforced that this 2009's off-season could literally go down as the worse ever in Bills History. Not only did we get rid of Peters but made one of the worst picks with our First Pick. Imagine if the front office would have found a way to keep Peters and drafted, say Oher. The line would be a completely different story. Instead we a picking off practice squads to grab OL starters. With the exception of Wood, Levitre and Williams, it seems like every other area of this team digressed (sp?) from 2008. While I like TO, I am not sure if on a whole our recieving core is any better....not that we will ever know b/c our QB is awful and the line even worse. I will not give up on Maybin but he is going to have to bulk up and show something next year.
  14. I like TO and think he has done a good job in Buffalo. Would love to see him back with a decent QB and decent line. Our O-line. However, the tweeting crap needs to stop....that goes for K. Mitchell too.
  15. Agreed. No way we spend our 1st on the a QB. A QB first round pick is too big of a gamble for this team given all the needs we have. We go after one in 2011 draft. While this stinks, I have a feeling that it is going to be at least 2-3 years to get this ship going in the right direction. McClean from Bama to black MLB.
  16. AFN played the game over here so I got to stay up and watch another let down. All things considered he played OK. It seemed like the whole line does not speak the same language. One could forgive Cogs but the rest did not pick up the slack...but that has been happening all season so what is new. I think Cogs could be a force next year and if we can get Wood back and pick up a quality LT in FA, we might have an average to above average line. Does anyone know how long we have Cog under contract? GO BILLS
  17. Got to watch it over here in the desert. Was worried when MC scored to tie but we found a way. GO Sabres
  18. I disagree. First the Flutie-Johnson controversy seems like a dream. Remember it really heated up when Johnson had that epic day against the colts and lit them up before the forward lateral PO game in TN. This QB controversy is 8 million times worse than that. In that case, we were talking playoffs. Here we know that is not happening. I say play Trent and Brohm, but Play Trent against NE...could be a statement game for him. If not, we know he is a backup forever. Fitz does not have the physical skills to be a starting NFL QB.
  19. Suh will likely not be available when we pick and we should under no circumstances trade up this year. We need to trade our first pick this year for a second and third or fourth this year and a second next year. We are so far away from fielding a decent product that we need to think 3-4 years and we need picks. Hopefully we could pick this AL guy up, put him on a diet (like Bruce), and also draft two solid OTs in second and third round this year or maybe a LB. The following year we take a franchise QB in the first and shore up any gaps in our OL and DL with our two picks in the second. Some breaks in FA and maybe by year 3 we are back in the playoffs. I know this is off the subject of the Run Defense, but we should not be discussing first rounders because 1) they are terribly pricey 2) our track record and 3) we need picks and a complete overhaul to fix the run defense and everything else.
  20. Texas Hot in Wellsville NY. Nothing better (PERIOD)
