  1. Well, that's reassuring. But, when you're a Patriot, the ball is suspiciously easier to catch.
  2. Clay will have more YAC, but Chandler will have a higher catch rate %. Still, Chandler is a better bargain and cutting him was my least favorite offseason move. If Clay gets hurt, this move will really haunt us.
  3. I think this is what everyone is hoping for. Tyrod's NFL ability hasn't been tested yet, but he's been hyped up as a better version of Vick. EJ and Cassel may have actual NFL experience, but none of it is very consistent. You've gotta hope that the unknown is better than what we know.
  4. I question the completeness of Hogan's skill set. Yes, he's fast, tough and has decent hands, but he's not very crisp on the route runs and doesn't have elite size or speed to make him uncoverable. I really don't think he's scaring anyone and that might be why he's always open. Goodwin might be fragile, but he's worth a roster spot because his fresh legs WILL scare people. Even if the ball isn't coming his way, someone will sap their energy chasing him down. Other than that, I'd ditch Bryce Brown immediately because he's a fumble liability and there's plenty of better options.
  5. I know it's an unpopular opinion, but I'd take Calvin Johnson and Golden Tate. Lions got robbed last year. We all know that was pass interference, not "face gaurding." The refs hate the Lions and always have. But they have the best 2 gamebreaking WRs imaginable.
  6. Dwan Edwards would have been just as good as Dareus had we kept him. Meanwhile Dwan was hosting football camps for kids in the community while Marcel is smoking synthetic drugs and driving his car into local restaurants' foliage. Not sure what Patriot style means though. Cheating?
  7. I thought it was really shady how the Pats scoreboard operator forgot to flip the down from 3rd to 4th on the final play vs Ravens a few years back, resulting in a no-good game winning kick attempt. Also, why would they ever stop spying? Instead, use cameras hidden in sunglasses instead of a camcorder. Also, will they stop taking balls into the bathroom next season? Who's going to stop them? The refs don't seem to care. At least refs named Walt.
  8. I believe sending a guy into a bathroom with game balls and pin has got to be one of the most cheatingest things ever in the history of sports. Anyone arguing that this wasn't an advantage needs to realize that if the advantage wasn't there, they wouldn't be doing it. Every aspect of the Pats game plan benefits from flatter balls (short passes, low air yards, power run game, tight ends, no fumbling allowed or you're benched (now we know why Ridley was benched for fumbling vs us. He couldn't even hold on to a deflated ball).
  9. It's possible that the O-line is only one piece away from turning from awful to elite. In my eyes, it was the Guards who were the weak links and this put more pressure on Wood, Glenn and Henderson. Incognito is one piece that will help. Add another guard who can play better than what we had last year and this OL will be fine.
  10. He threw that 100 yard pick six, which really tarnished an otherwise decent game vs KC. I think he might be on different trajectory with his NFL career if that play could be erased from history.
  11. There lots of red flags here that La'el may be a straight up gangsta and living the thug life. No biggie though. He's got the talent we need and likely had nothing to do with the murder. If he was behind the killing, he would've waited until AFTER the draft to do it.
  12. I would invest in some better helmet technology. Putting rigid plastic on the outside of a helmet is barbaric. There are hi-tech self-healing plastics that could make a softer exterior and could probably eliminate most concussions as well as all these dumb rules against tackling high. This would also keep talented players from retiring as early.
  13. I'm really shocked that we host 2 warm weather teams in December. That is a massive advantage that the NFL always seems to give to the Pats, but not us.
  14. EVERYONE will be using the Bills or Seahawks in Madden this year, especially if Tyrod stays on the roster. Fast QBs throwing to above average tight ends is a common recipe for an unstoppable offense... in Madden.
  15. Dalton has to be one of the luckiest QB's alive. I'm reminded of one play last season where he caught a pass in the flat and scored a TD despite being heavily covered. It was a miracle! There's also the classic Chris Kelsay strip sack recovered for a TD by Bryan Scott that got reversed due to tuck rule. This guy's whole career is succeeding on flukes and discontinued rules that just barely get them squeaking into playoffs, where Dalton shows his true colors and completely fails.
  16. I was looking for Matt Cassell highlights but all I found were comedy skits, folly of him fumbling his baseball hat, lowlights, and the time KC home fans cheered his injury. Pretty sure this offense is below average with him in there.
  17. This doesn't make much sense to me. At best, Hogan was below average out there. I don't recall Orton and MW even being on the field together. It seems hard to believe that a QB comes in and immediately starts trashing the ability of the most experienced WR on the team. FYI, Mike Williams is on the list for most TD's from a WR/QB combo and that is with Josh Freeman, who is considered yesterday's trash. Nobody else on this team is even on that list. This was a case of egos clashing like they do in rock bands. Consider the Bills are either Guns n Roses or Pink Floyd and MW was Slash or Roger Waters. Completely pushed out of the game plan despite doing his job on the field. Now, he's working on a solo record, and it sucks.
  18. EJ just doesn't have Tannehill's value. His accomplishments are just too few and far between at this point. Can't this poll be something more believable, like trading EJ for Gabbert or Jimmy Clausen?
  19. Brown is good for game-losing fumbles. I want Boobie.
  20. This would clear up a lot of those defensive holdings where the replay shows zero contact and everyone assumes the ref just called the wrong number.
  21. It's the fact that he had a rib injury on what appeared to be routine contact that troubles me. Many great NFL prospects just weren't built for the game. I want the toughest WRs on this team. Tough WR are where the NFL is heading.
  22. If this were a rank of just Defensive rosters, Bills would be top 5, no doubt. The Offense roster has major holes, but could be top 20 with the right acquisitions.
