OCT has been our worst individual OL pretty much every game this year. Strange to see him so high.

I would not be opposed to terminating Keon Coleman's contract this week and seeing who we can poach from a practice squad. He's just such a negative every play he's on the field even if it's not targeted at him.

I blame the coaches often - for example I think the Falcons loss was bad coaching. Today is very little on the coaches and near 100% on the players for me. Atrocious execution from the defense and Josh. One of the worst efforts I have seen from Josh in several years.

Done for the day. Worst game I've seen from Josh in years. But really no one on the team had a decent game except maybe the interior OL and Bosa.

Bernard was bad last year before we gave him the big contract too

I would consider releasing Coleman from his contract this week and seeing what WR we can find as a street FA. Coleman is just so much of a negative on every play he's on the field

I rip on the coaches a lot but this half feels like it's on the players for a complete failure to execute.

Assuming Palmer can go next week I would favor healthy scratching Keon Coleman going forward. He is a net negative to the team pretty much every play he sees the field.

McGovern and Edwards are clearly and consistently better players than O'Cyrus

Not to be a debbie downer but my interest in the league has largely faded as the refs have determined (usually incorrectly) the outcome of nearly every significant Bills game the last few years. Going to a local hockey game and passing on this one. But go Bills.

I'm more concerned with the lack of calls against teams playing us. Especially because there have been multiple obvious examples of our defensive linemen getting held and it not getting called. We can statistically prove Shawn Hochuli hates the Bills and officiates games in a manner to make the Bills lose but that doesn't explain the other six weeks.

That hail mary from Rodgers at the end of the game was farther than any QB in the league has thrown a live ball in at least 8 years. Pretty wild

Great ball from Rodgers, he doesn't deserve to be credited with a pick there.

I think both Edmunds and Bernard are below average for their position. Edmunds has among the worst football IQ I've seen. Bernard is so physically slight he struggles to make an impact except the couple times a game he manages to get to the ball before a blocker gets to him. I'd have extended neither, found a replacement through the draft/FA, and spent the money possibly saved here on another position (or good LB free agent).

I worry getting paid sapped some of their fire to train hard in the offseason.

Agree it's on the coaches to find a better option than Tre White at CB. I don't see how anyone could expect him to be even competitive this year after the Rams - who had as bad a defense last year as we did - healthy scratched him last year then traded him for a 7th round pick swap. I don't fault him for continuing to play as long as he's given a job and I don't fault him for the age and injury related decline.

I would like to see the Bills shift away from their strategy of primarily selecting pre-draft visitors in the draft. I think it artificially limits the pool of talent they are selecting from which leads to selections in the draft that are not the most talented player available. I also think Beane and company get too enamored with specific players and do too much trading of draft picks. You guys aren't that much smarter than all the other talent evaluators in the league and your specific players don't turn out to be better. Just stay put and take the highest consensus ranked guy at the position you need help at like a normal team.

One thing I have noticed is literally no one on our defense is capable of getting off a 1v1 run block from an offensive player to make a play except sometimes Matt Milano.

All three of our defensive starters who signed big contracts last offseason suck now. That is a major problem.

We can squabble with each other over many things but the one thing I have seen 100% universal agreement from Bills fans on is that Tre White and Taylor Rapp need to see as few snaps for the rest of the season as earthly possible. There's got to be a better option.

While Shawn Hochuli actually hates the Bills and actively tries to make us lose, this officiating crew feels more of the incompetent variety than the malicious variety.

Lots of blame to go around but we had to re-sign Benford and no one could predict he would be so bad this year. That's just bad luck.
