    My hatred is different for both. I hated the pats because they curb stomped is for 2 decades. But that was pretty much the bills own fault with awful hires and bad draft picks. I hate the chiefs because we are finally a good team and every time we end up coming up short against them in the playoffs.

    Which is why Allen will never win MVP and why guys like Edmunds and Smith are pro bowlers. The narrative is the lack of consistency with Allen (which to be fair, is accurate) but at the same time, the other guys will never win you the game on their own, Allen and Lamar can and have.

    Because they can't fight anyone bigger than them is my guess. Unrelated to him, just a napoleon complex that they develop once they get paid. Look at a bunch of RB's through the years and it's the same thing.

    I don't recall any Allen receptions this season but agree with what you were getting at.

    he could throw less than 10 TO's and that will still be the narrative. He won't because he doesn't have the receivers to run wide open like the other QBs do but hopefully that changes next year.

    I'm not mad about the MVP at all, honestly don't care but I agree. He's not liked. As someone said before it comes down to two reasons, they were wrong about him in their previous expectations of him and his race (and or his quoting racist things that were just him being a kid joking around with a friend).

    Allen finished 5th in MVP voting apparently. As a side note, man it seems like the people that vote on this are really sick of Mahomes.

    Not gonna lie, pretty messed up they used one of Allen's favorite songs to introduce Lamar. That's getting scrubbed from his playlist.

    Takes more to get off the couch. I'm not gonna knock the pick. He came back and played well, damar did come back but didn't do much. I get the sentimental value of it but flacco did come back and contributed.

    This is pretty much the answer. The intro itself is a hook. Everyone knows it without knowing the words to the song and can sing along to it. Similar to "We will rock you" by Queen or "Sweet Carolin" by Neil Diamond. It's easy for the fans to get in to.
