Must have missed that report so fair enough. I still find it troubling when a player was rule out/inactive for a game with no injury designation. I know others have already started threads about it so I'm not going to get into it. Just wish there was a little more than "taking it day by day" if he is practicing in full.

According to the injury report, no they didn't. He hasn't shown up on it since he was redesigned from IR. Just inactive on game day.

Tre hasn't been ruled out the past 3 games either, just inactive at game time.

You are correct with this, the issue is related to FULLY guaranteed contracts. So yes, it still doesn't matter how they are given the money guaranteed contracts or signing bonuses, but I think they are more concerned with other teams jumping on the dumbass wagon (Cleveland) and starting to do this and breaking how the league has been able to massage the salary cap for however long they have.

So I'm curious, if found and proven to be true, what's the penalty??? Will they be required to sign someone to a fully guaranteed contract ever season? Or will the owners just get a drop in the bucket fine and that's the end of it?
