  1. I never turn the games off, but playing late on Sunday and Monday nights when I need to get my kids to school the next morning, yea I'm putting my head on the pillow while I stare blankly at the screen.
  2. Fumbling on the first play after not fumbling since his first carry in the league. 27 games without another fumble until that point. If you want to blame that on not be prepared for the game then fine. But benching a player for a quarter and a half because of that seems a little excessive if you ask me after not having a fumbling issue until that point. Turnovers are different than drops, you're right. Gabe Davis: one drop that resulted in an INT and one fumble on the season (others would probably go after the times where Allen was picked off when he was targeted but I'm only going to blame him for when he had hands on the ball). James Cook: 1 fumble lost and 1 fumble recovered on the season.
  3. Cook has fumbled 3 times on 254 touches. Davis is a 52% career completion success rate receiver. Help me make sense of your statement and those numbers.
  4. But they will make damn sure to show him sitting on the sideline by himself if he throws a pick.
  5. If you think those comments are weird you should have heard him talk on WGR right before his press conference. I really haven't had a problem with McD and some of the things he says but this was kind of a "this is my team and you need to do it my way" kind of comment and it really made me lose faith in him. He was asked about the Cook benching after the fumble and basically said that he hadn't earned his trust the same as someone that might have been with the team for a longer period of time. I'm assuming this is a direct "trust" comparison between benching Cook and not benching Davis after he had an INT go off of his hands. So a guy who fumbled twice in 27 games gets less trust than a 58% catch percentage receiver. Got it.
  6. And conveniently enough, NFL gambling was established shortly after. As if that wasn't the reason for the implementation in 2017.
  7. No problem. 👍 I honestly didn't expect him to say anything about his brothers X post because he doesn't even say anything about his own X or IG post. He's always cryptic in that sense and I think he likes the attention. I don't think it means anything. I don't think anything was politically wrong. He said he had no say in it so why does it matter? It was honest. It wasn't the canned "I love him. He's been great with Josh and I think he will help us out" regarding Brady. He spoke his mind but didn't throw anyone under the bus (well he kind of did but was at least nice about it). Does he have issues with the move? maybe. But... he might be happier than he has ever been because Dorsey is gone. I honestly think the stuff that happened in camp is more telling about how things were happening inside the locker room/meetings. You're right in that sense. He wasn't happy. And I think that the direction of the offense and how they were going forward was a part of it. His brother didn't need to tweet anything to show his frustration on the sideline in the playoffs last year. Something was going on that he didn't like. Was it Josh? again, could be. The way they play together and are around each other tells me otherwise. Diggs has never acted like a "fake" person. We saw that with the Vikings. He didn't think he was appreciated so he tried to get out. I don't see him doing that now. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.
  8. I did and he answered the questions that were asked. What didn't he say that was telling was my question?
  9. Part of the problem is the information that is given out. Some people don't get enough and some people get too much. Don't get enough are watching ESPN/Fox/etc sports media that spin whatever they want. Too much is seeing Treyvon make a comment on twitter and his brother replies to it in a positive way toward the team and his QB but need to spin it into a negative because they aren't happy with their team right now. Like I said before, Diggs addressed all of this earlier in the season and the only thing he seems annoyed about right now, is the narrative that he doesn't want to be here or like Allen. It's pretty sad how everything needs to be a bad thing when someone says something.
  10. What does he need to say? He answered most of those questions in training camp but since his brother made a comment it means something more?
  11. Giving them clicks is all they wanted you to do.
  12. You mean what he did in training camp? But now because they are .500 and fired their OC and his brother tweeted something it means he doesn't like it here anymore. https://youtu.be/bjCNmgp6a8k?t=313
  13. Diggs was on a heater today. He was calm and respectful but man, you could tell he hated some of those questions.
  14. It may be your bias but as a non English teacher, having that type of confidence in something you don't normally do gives me more confidence in what he is actually supposed to be doing. Even as far as putting blame on himself for Dorsey getting fired was something we don't normally hear from any of the coaching staff. Every press conference after a loss: "We'll have to look at the tape" or "I'm not getting into specific right now" or "We'll keep that internal for the time being" Just nice to hear that "accountability" from someone when that's all they preach and no one has shown it outside of Allen.
  15. I get the same feeling listening to Brady talk.
  16. That's because we hate people. 😆 In my situation, it's more related to building renovations that happen on a fairly regular basis, say a few rooms per year, and all of the infrastructure, designed and budget are determined before we catch wind of the project from hearsay and have to contact the project manager to ask them if we need to be involved for any IT specs/installations of equipment. This usually ends up putting the project behind by a few weeks when they have been planning things months prior.
  17. When someone is let go, yes. We know before it even happens but anything else and we are an afterthought.
  18. I'd be interested to see if there are any issue with Matt Bove after he asked McD yesterday if he thought, as a defensive coordinator, that the offense was becoming too predictable.
  19. Kind of surprised to see how many people don't like Sal. Not saying I agree with everything that he says but I honestly can't stand most of the callers that call in with every hot take under the sun and provide nothing to support their comment other than "because that's what I would do".
  20. I actually think it stems from last year in the divisional round. Diggs storming out then and the stuff that happened at the beginning of the year makes me think the players didn't believe in the offensive game plan. Josh looking lost on the sideline. The players have no confidence and that's a reflection of coaching. Then they run the same mesh play over and over again that has been resulted in probably half of Allen's INTs when all they needed to do was run the ball. Also having a players only meeting for the offense doesn't show a lot of faith in what they are being told to do.
  21. I'd say 60/40 yes. This game wasn't on Dorsey because of the poor plays of the offense (fumbles, drops, INTs) and then the defensive and special team issues but his play calling has been bad since London and really hasn't changed or provided any kind of confidence in the offense.
  22. The coach I didn't know existed
  23. BRING BACK THE ***** STAMPEDING BUFFALO!!!
