section122 replied to The Big Cat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How big of a bills fan do you think trent is now? -
Are we the worst team in the NFL??
section122 replied to buffalo_bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
+1 I find it odd that we all expected them to be bad but after 1 game ppl are mad that they lost and trashing everyone/everything... half full time for you... dolphins expected to contend in division and we had the ball with a chance to win the game.... twice enough is enough most ppl expected 6-10ish which means 9 more times were gonna have to hear all of this? The 24 hour rule needs to be applied on this board! -
Fantasy Football Help please
section122 replied to billsbacker56's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Essentially your trading a top 5 qb for a top 5 hb and top 10ish qb so it depends what your needs are. Even being a bills fan I routinely try to acquire brady as he is very consistent and over the last few years qb is more important than rb. -

Indications that our O-line is terrible
section122 replied to SouthGeorgiaBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agreed with you and was arguing the same point to my friends until the final drive when trent refused to even try and throw the ball out there to let a wr make a play. At that point in time it became neccesary to try it even if a pick was the result. Final play 5 yard pass to the middle of the field?! The o line def needs work but if u watch the wr aren't gaining separation and the qb isn't throwing to spots instead of players. The optimist in me is hoping this was like the wash game where adjustments can be made before gb. If not it will be another long afternoon. The defense needs some help from our o! -
Anyone know how ticket sales are going?
section122 replied to K-No's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I really can't stand this argument. I drive over 2 hours each game day and have for 5 years because I figured the bills would turn it around soon. Each trip costs the 4 of us about $100 apiece. This year its asking way to much to be loyal to that extent. Ii will still live and diie with them each Sunday but reefuse to be held hostage that they might move if they don't get my money. If thhats thee case good riddance winning teams make money and don't need tricks (t.o.) to sell tix. Noone would b considering giving up their tix and the bills would not even be talked about for relocation if they simply fielded a winner more than once every... jeez I don't even kno what to say for how long there -
Why Buffalo didn't go after a big name QB
section122 replied to Pete_C79's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree completely I also thought when they discussed the toronto deal that they should play a preseason game each yr in the dome. I live right by syracuse and travel weekly to the ralph however most ppl in this area aren't bills fans their is no "local" team and I feel this would drum up some fandom. Lot of ppl in rochester are fans it would seem only natural to try and continue down the thruway -
Round 3, Pick #72: DE Alex Carrington Arkansas State
section122 replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Will try to not be rude but seriously troupe was a 2nd or 3rd rnd projection moving up and the run on dts happened right before and after carrington was a projected 2nd rnd pick that we got in third how are those reaches. Come down from the ledge my friend before the draft ppl knew we would fill all holes during the draft I agree ol needs help but reaching has kept us mediocre for a long time there were no ots that weren't reaches @ our picks bulaga went 14 picks after ours and brown went 20 caMpbell might even b there in the 4th relax buddy -
I agree imo the bills want tebow to be there @ 41 and if so he will be there selection so I could see jax jumping in front if they are as in love as eeveryone thinks.

Quick number crunch with the 49ers we could trade 9 72 and 140 for 13 49 and 79 (1616 ourpoints 1628 there's) which would give us 13 41 49 79 I think merriman and clady were in the 13 range and wilfork was 20 but I understand not wanting to go to far down... so how do you feel about this proposal?
-
I'm sure its already been posted but what does it look like w/out the trade?
-
I think it is lost that although they are trading down in the first rnd they are trading up in the second and gaining two extra picks to me this is the year to trade down as this is supposedly a very deep draft. The major needs to me at least are nt and lt but I think we all would like to see a qb and lb. If I told you we could get claussen and cody or charlie brown cody a qb (tebow mccoy pike... whoever u like in the second tier) and brandon spikes which would you prefer. I feel as if its a no brainer (imho)
-
I agree lynch could and should still be effective which is why I don't want him traded but I don't neccesarily think that's a scrap heap of picks its a one 2 twos and an early third which would give us 5 picks out of the top 72. As for your couple guys who could come in and produce year one this deal would net 2 picks before 41 where one of the players would come from along w 2 additional picks before our original own 3rd rounder which would help our depth tremendously in case of injuries (not that it ever happens to bills but just in case)
-
We would have to throw in 41 as well and I too am all for stockpiling picks but I still like lynch and don't want the bills to create more holes but I wonder if schoebel would be open to a trade to a contender for a pick instead of retirement
-
I'm doing this from my phone so I can't post the link but I was on walterfootball.com (great site for player e v a l and mock drafts) and they said the eagles were interested in trading up for an elite prospect (spiller perhaps) so I crunched the numbers off the value chart... our 9 and 41 is 1840 points traded for 24 37 55 and 70 which also is 1840 points. Although this is to convenient to actually happen I would be ecstatic as we could then have those four and the 72nd pick. That would allow us to fill most of our needs and perhaps llok like clausen (def slide potential if sf and sea don't piick him) charlie brown (or best ot/nt available) then best ot/nt based on previous pick (cam thomas perhaps) then bpa from then on out with two of them being @ the top of the third.... ah the week before the draft where possibilities are endless... oh yeah please buddy @ least make the call
-
My dream scenario is 3 productive players with at least one being a stud (top ten picks should be) period don't care who they are as long as they don't suck!
-
Incredibly accurate and the winningest qb in college history. I've long thought he is the best pro prospect at qb and expected a philip rivers type rise in draft stock which never happened. He could offer the most value being available in the second and poss 3rd which would allow the bills to go ot nt in rnds 1 and 2.

Where can I watch Buffalo Sports...
section122 replied to JOHNNYFAIRPLAY's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Www.myp2p.eu is the homesite and it has every sport imagineable including ppv for boxing ufc etc great site and safe. Also adth.com streams live events. I use these for laker games in cny -
Not entirely true... sporting news has him listed as a late first rnd pick and Kiper has him going 23rd in his latest mock. But all of this bickering over which lineman ppl prefer is funny to me who of us breaks down lineman film. Who has watched more than youtube highlights meant to impress ppl ala john wendling. So let's not bash ppl for having a diff opinion than your own (I kno this is tbd where negativity reigns but) just a question but why the love for bulaga? I have no opinion on ol because that is the one position it seems late rnd choices are starters all throughout the league moreso than other pos. So I will trust hope and root for whomever gets selected. But @ least tell me why you think he's the 2nd best ot and please don't say cause everyone else says so.
-
btw I kno Ive seen the link up here before but walterfootball.com has an updated mock draft and draft order every week including tiebreakers. At the start of the week we draft 7th before todays loss and the only teams we can move ahead of are the redskins and browns if the browns win next week and redskins win one of the next two. Heres the exact link http://www.walterfootball.com/nfldraftorder2010.php

hahahahahahahaha why would you ever make such a comment. The Bills have to have brought you back to reality now. Even the most diehard has to admit we are playing with all of our backups who were playing behind average players to begin with. Is our O line not backups how about our lb corp or our dbs come on man the only reason this would happen is to further infuriate us and drop our draft pick. Since im assuming your a diehard im going to leave you with this steelers backups. If that means nothing to you then nevermind but steelers backups.

i always use www.myp2p.eu then go to live sports, nfl, follow the site its easy to use

Mike Williams vs Bryant McKinnie
section122 replied to Original Byrd Man's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Mckinney was benched because after the Ari game when the vikes were manhandled some of the defensive players came out and said that they knew when the vikings were running or passing d/t Mckinneys stance. It is the same reason he was benched in the next game after getting a penalty for not lining up on the line and trying to cheat and get the extra step dropping into pass protection. Better than Williams yes good pick/player eh servicable at best. One bad game? lol how many viking games do you actually watch? -
Good year to draft a QB near the top anyway
section122 replied to fairfaxbill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think there are so many draftable qbs that getting one early wouldnt neccesarily be the best option. I agree with the line out theory but want a stud dt. I also wouldnt mind a ot but i think a very good qb could be had in the 2nd. Between Locker, McCoy, Clausen, Tebow, and Bradford one should be available in the second round or even poss the 3rd. Line out is a great idea but the picks need to be QUALITY. which with the bills track record.... -
1. DT - there are a few first rnd prospects in this draft. Team has not been the same since letting pat williams go and not drafting ngata a few years later hurt as well. This would improve the run defense the fastest. 2 QB - As mentioned there are several good prospects this year and not that many teams with a need for a qb. One could be had at the Bills 2nd round pick that should have gone higher. 3 OT - RT LT whichever we got would improve our line and help the offenses progress more than improving any other position (besides QB - which cant function w/out a line anyway) 4 Lineman - OL or DL I really envision Maybin getting slid to LB as that would seem to be his more natural position and that would leave a need at DE depth unless C. Ellis becomes more like that other guy from VaTech 5 LB - and an actual LB as well not a transitioned player from any other position ( I know I just saidf Maybin should switch but hes already on the roster) because invariably our lbs get hurt every single year depth would be good here 6 FB - Every year I hope for the Bills to stop with this ridiculous h-back position that i hate. Good FBs can be had this late every year and a good run/pass blocking back would help Freddy and Marshawn 7 DB - you have to let Jauron have one every year but hopefully its not.... who am i kidding the 7-9 Bills will keep him again for continuitys sake <---- please god that is sarcasm do not punish me for such silly jokes!
