This is not the common definition of "player" trade. It usually references a player for player trade.

If it was his 1st time with effort issues, sure. He had problems in Houston and then went on to have a few good years here then took a year off. He got called out for it. He has been asked about in camp and then came out and got embarrassed looking like he had no idea how to tackle.

I'm genuinely interested in what makes him poor at being commissioner, but it's hard to get much in the way of exact answers. This is a good reason, but hardly seems a footnote in the long term. Is discipline the only consideration in determining his worth as commissioner?

What exactly makes Goodell a bad commissioner? If you think any business that large "runs itself" then I think you don't have a good idea how something as large as the NFL operates.

a hurry up offense with their defense is a recipe for disaster...not to mention their o-line and issues in the running game. Also, Jordan Cameron is terrible so not having a reliable pass catching tight end is another knock on it. They don't have the personnel for it. Honestly, the stuff coming from Gase is either a huge smokescreen or he thinks because it works in practice against his potentially historically bad secondary that it will work in games against other teams.

Both of them are being really silly about this. I don't know why this is the hill the Chargers have chosen to die on and I'm not sure why the kid is so concerned about offset language. You would need to be signed...by another team...for it to take effect.

You're not getting Gordon for some late round pick. All the reasons that you want him are the reasons the Browns will keep him. It seems people who want to trade for him think you can get him for some mid round pick. Yeah, not happening. The price likely starts at a 1st for one year of the guy.

Is this what you're looking for? Someone to step up?

His value to the Browns outweighs the value that other teams are going to be willing to give up for him.

I think the Bills defense will be better. They weren't very good last season and I expect them to be somewhere around 10-15 this year. Not great, but able to do enough to win some games. I think what you take away from pre-season is if they look like they know what the hell they are doing. Last season...didn't necessarily get that feeling. This season, they at least seem to have some idea that they are supposed to stop the other team from advancing the ball down the field.

Well, he seemed to be much more motivated when that was unresolved in his life. Side note: Miami fans are complaining that he looks disinterested and doesn't seem to be putting in much effort
