  1. Is he reporting Doug Marrone is the leading candidate?
  2. I'm glad you figured out they played a game and got points so yes, they are now ahead of the Sabres who have played 1 less game than they have.
  3. Unfortunately, I could stomach about 5-6 of your posts before the contents of my stomachs decided to leave. Would you care to point out where you had a rational thought in your hot mess of posts in this thread?
  4. Big blockbuster deals don't happen in the NFL. It's a whole different animal then baseball.
  5. his decision to let Wade go was the worst
  6. Brilliant. Now if you can just figure out how to get him interested int he NFL..
  7. It's much easier for the dims to have a lightning rod to soak up their disdain then look at the very complex operations of an NFL team and so we have Russ Brandon so we have a target to b*tch about..
  8. umm..Toronto is in last place and not looking good doing it...
  9. The Sabres are copying the exact format of Stanley Cup winners from the last several years...not sure what you're talking about there..
  10. You're under the assumption that the job of the radio guys is to be accurate or put some sort of effort towards being reasonable. It's not. Their job is to attract listeners which means they will say whatever gets people listening. They will lie, make stuff up, pander to the audience, takes thing way out of context, etc. because it gets the "loons" who believe it and then it gets the people who are aghast that they would say these things.
  11. whatever happened to Graham not covering sports? I guess he couldn't write those feature pieces..
  12. This gets brought up over and over again. It's silly. You think he was responsible when he was an entry level employee? If you wanted to blame him for more recent years of suck then maybe you could make an argument there, but attributing 20 years to him shows you're really just upset and lashing out at whatever target comes to mind. The Bills suck, it's frustrating, but flailing your arms around in the air throwing a tantrum is silly.
  13. He is one of the worst Bills draft picks ever. He has caused the Bills to lose games with his antics. Whaley must go.
  14. given the injuries, I'd rather focus on getting some receivers over having t find a QB and some receivers..
  15. Actually, everything is worse. It's always worse.
  16. The problem for Washington is that Cousins will want to be the highest paid QB in the NFL. They're going to have to be completely sold on him to do that because that contract means it's the last QB that the GM and coaching staff will choose one way or another. Cousins may have it or he may be the next guy that has one good year then everyone goes, "Oh, we should probably game plan for him" the next year and he's back to mediocre. I'd also keep in mind that Washington has had a good year on the injury front. In terms of straight up man games lost, they are 18th in the league. They're also 3rd in their division(the same place as the Bills who have are 5th in terms on mangames lost at 142 with lesser QB play) so as amazing as Cousins has played this year, they'd be banking on him being *better* in the upcoming seasons as his contract would limit their ability to really upgrade the overall level of talent on the team and they'd need to remain relatively healthy. I agree that if he plays as well as he has the rest of the season that they're unlikely to let him walk and will get him signed, but I don't think it's a simple decision to make him the highest paid QB in the league.
  17. He was making a joke because of Schefter shares an agent with Marrone and has reported frequently that Marrone was "getting" or "in the running" for several jobs that it didn't seem like he was in serious consideration for...
  18. NE takes a bunch of "risky" players that don't work out...what are you smoking? The steelers...with his brother on the team couldn't get him straight...wtf is wrong with that organization?
  19. I live in Austin. Don't follow the team, but the owner of my company is a big fan and booster so I heard a lot about it. Strong was always a 'holdover' pick. A guy that could eat a couple years of suck while the cupboard went from utterly barren to only terribly barren that they could fire when there were candidates they wanted and could get.
  20. even with only 1 season, as a 5th round pick, his performance is superior to most 5th round picks.
  21. whomever signs Kirk Cousins, his contract is going to a mistake before 2018 rolls around
  22. That seems like an obvious thing to know. Players play better and worse on different teams all the time.
  23. There are 2 that I know of, but why does that matter? The Patriots have several former Dolphins on their roster.
  24. just because you says things doesn't make them feasible
  25. dat number 90 though.. The person responsible for picking the prime time matchups needs to be fired. Holy hell, they have been bad.
