I like your thread title. So I'll play along. My last post before I get back to my tps reports. If I was the gm for a week I would bang all the fine looking interns. Fire the ugly ones. I would make him #5 with a huge signing bonus so he takes it. I would ban Kolb from coming back. Heck I'll make him the highest paid qb as long as he must sign on another team. I would also put a shock collar on Hackett. Everytime he calls for "Spiller up the middle for 1 yard" gain he gets shocked. They can do anything they want on that show. As has been said before, he was not in the best scenario. Gronk was double teamed and out of position. The db was free and was in most favorable position to make the play. I love saying it. This is all on Brady. But really watch the clip like 10-50 times if you need, Gronk was running towards the back, the momentum to suddenly brake and come back was too much to overcome. If you watch this clip from above like 5 times straight, you will notice that his momentum is a major factor. REGARDLESS OF FIRST POINT OF CONTACT. His momentum was driving him to the back of the endzone.

Dude he was running towards the back. The distance to come back was too much. Gronk was not in a good position. The db or safety who picked it was in the best position to take it, and did. Gronk was being double teamed. You had a free safety in hawk mode and you had stupid @ Luke. By the way what kind of cover was that???? Hug the intended target??? You have to be stupid to commit that foul to begin with! Specially against the "just give it to them" pats. Also you mention the point of contact happening closer to the beginning of the endzone, ok. He still has to pass through 2 guys on a ball that was underthrown and where he was out of position. So the point of contact doesnt count. He's not superman... Gronk would have had to dive just to be able to get his fingertips on the ball....Ok, fine. However the db who picked it didnt have to have magic powers, he just needed to scoop and pick, like he did. Big difference. This play was bad because of Brady underthrowing badly. This play was bad because of Luke Cheekly almost raping gronk. Stupid!! The play was going to be intercepted period with or without Luke's contact.

That's where you're wrong J. Gronk still had to get in front of the guy who did intercept it. Based on positioning, that would almost be impossible to do. The guy who intercepted it had the best shot. If it was Luke and Gronk only, then maybe I would agree with you. But he was double teamed and the player who did intercept the ball was in much better position. He was free and was not being double teamed. That's a fact. It was a good no call. Not to mention that to me his momentum was leading him deep in the endozone anyway. Gronk's instict (and probably the play itself) is a high ball towards the back of the endzone. At the end of the day he didnt expect the ball to be severly underthrown by Brady. Actually by play design Amendola was deep in the endzone too. He tried to come back to it too. But it was too late. Same thing that would have happened with Gronk. With the speed of the ball and two men blocking his path, AND THE BAD THROW, Gronk had no chance. Book it! Again, this is all on Brady. He would have to be the little fast dude son on the movie "The incredibles" I'm with you on this one.

Please forgive me bills nation, I did fast forward some plays this sunday. But most ff plays happened while bills were on defense. How many screen plays did we have? I'm going based on my memory and the fact that the bills bored me (sorry). I kinda lost interest (sorry). I didnt even get upset (sorry). The bills suck?
