  1. You should grab some of that easy vegas money this week then my friend!
  2. The family friendly line is a smoke screen. Your gut feeling is absolutely correct. When looking for motives for NFL behavior, never look further than the money.
  3. Too bad this isn't chess, we'd kick ass for sure.
  4. Tedy Bruschi .. now there's an unbiased anal-yst
  5. The only curse is the Bills front office.
  6. I thought (and still think) the Jags, not the Jets. And even that is a maybe.
  7. Once again, effectively the same team on the field as last year. How could you expect anything else? This in no surprise. If you think this is the start of a rebuild you shrug your shoulders and wait for better days. If you think this is not the start of a rebuild, you either get really pissed off or you give up ... or you act like a "real fan" and proclaim that the refs are screwing us and that's why we lost the first X games and we are surely going (16-X) and X for the season.
  8. !@#$ angry. What they need to get is good.
  9. 14.5 most places now, 15.5 at one that I saw.
  10. Can I get an AMEN!
  11. From a Yahoo sports article ... If it wasn't the cheatriats I'd give the points this week in a heartbeat.
  12. Who do we have that would/could headhunt Clay Matthews?
  13. They have a good young QB as well. Watch out for them 11/14, they will be no pushover.
  14. Like I said a long time ago, he needs space to be effective. The "guy who makes plays on his own" and "makes offensive lines better" stuff coming from Nix/Gailey was at best, wishful thinking. He will be used trust me, but it won't be until we have something resembling an offensive line that can give him a fighting chance.
  15. He should have tea bagged the entire team and threw in OBD and Ralph for completeness.
  16. So Tebow then?
  17. Ouch, that's harsh. True, but harsh.
  18. Not quite true. It's not like Nix was brand spanking new to this organization this season. I'm not saying it makes sense to can him or Gailey at this point (in fact, quite the opposite).
  19. Good lord, who said that??
  20. Wow, another huge spread this week. My brain says give the points but my heart won't allow it. Particularly against those !@#$ing cocksucking cheaters.
  21. Well said and you are correct. The first step of a rebuild would be a solid foundation to build on and right now we do not have one. Maybe last years draft pool sucked so bad they saw no foundation and took Spiller because they figured they could make use of him some day. I guess at this point we wait, watch, and hope. Nothing new for Bills fans.
  22. Didn't see that play, and I'm not saying no one should run a route across the middle. But there is a big difference in getting lit up across the middle, and getting lit up while you are fully extended. If you are mathematically inclined ... middle-route + fully-extended = receiver-on-IR
  23. Absolutely agree. I would have liked to see some kind of action though instead of fielding essentially the same team this season instead of having Gailey take his own look from the sideline versus evaluating last years film. As far as the 3-4, I do agree that is the right move going forward. But having personal that fit a scheme to me makes more sense that trying to fit round pegs into square holes and calling it a 3-4. But if that is their rebuilding process, then OK. Not 2 weeks in. 18 weeks in, particularly on offense. Well that's one thing we agree on.
  24. Everyone is harping on the one play where Johnson short armed the ball. He did, clearly. But you also have to admit that Trent, and to some degree Gailey, hung him out to dry as well. Coming across the middle is a good way to get crushed, particularly playing a team like GB. Now add in the fact that the ball was way out in front of him and he would have needed to stretch out pretty freaking far to catch that ball. Against that GB defense that isn't a good way to get crushed, it's a good way to get killed.
  25. You obviously think the QB situation is far and away our biggest problem. Can't say that I agree (lines as I see it), but OK. I can see some good thought and logic in your post. But this my friend almost made me pee myself from laughing ... Do you seriously think Nix needed a[nother] year to familiarize himself with these players? And as for Gailey, you don't think the film from the previous N years ... and particularly last year which was the same freaking players for the most part ... was not enough for him to know what he has got? He is an offensive genius after all. You can almost make a case for the defensive side of the ball, but not quite. It was painfully obviously to everyone here, in the media, and in the league that Buffalo did not have the players for a 3-4. Making lineman into linebackers to see how they would do? That's how they familiarize themselves with the players? You are rationalizing, in a monumental way, the lack of off season action by the Bills. The 2010 season should have been a rebuilding year. Instead it was a wasted year in my opinion.
