Anyone have an idea why Roosevelt is inactive?
CodeMonkey replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Makes him a perfect fit for Fitz. Not madness. Think about it, Buffalo is a small dirt poor city and almost always looked down on and viewed as an underdog. It's only natural for Bills fans to also gravitate towards the underdog players. Plus, what the hell else has there been to be happy about the last 12 seasons. -
Ok that is a lot more reasonable Not according to this site.

Seeing as how that would put Johnson in the top 10 paid WRs in the NFL I would certainly hope so. Assuming Nix sees Johnson as a top 10 WR in the NFL that is certainly possible. I don't see him that way, but who knows. 15 mil signing bonus as well huh. Why not guarantee the entire 35 mil as well. I wish you were deciding my salary and bonuses
-
That would put him at number 8 for WRs according to this site. Seems like a lot of money for him, but not a outrageous starting point for negotiations.

The stadium would be too quiet if people were stoned instead of drunk.

If The Front Office Does Not Sign Stevie
CodeMonkey replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I hope he tests the FA market then signs with Buffalo for a fair price. The problem I believe is that Johnson thinks he is worth #1 WR money and Nix wants to pay him at most #2 WR money (if not less). Several teams should be interested in Johnson, but I don't see any of them showering Johnson with stupid money with other better choices out there. Let Johnson see his market value for what it is and make his decision. But if after that happens Nix does not step up to at least that fair market value then I have a big problem with him. -
With all due respect, it does not seem to be the same idea at all. I don't want them to pay for their own insurance to the tune of $10,000 a year say, then have surgeries, ongoing treatments and meds to the tune of $500,000 a year and drive up everyones health insurance costs. I want them to pay the $500,000 a year because it was their choice to put the carcinogen into their body. If they don't have the $500K then they die.

Fire Chan.... Hire Wannstedt

Frustrated Bills fan wants to blow it all up again. Not exactly news like you say. Not sure I see a reason to get your knickers in a twist over it though. -
Fire Chan.... Hire Wannstedt

If the choice is Chan or the Stache, I'd prefer Chan. -
Superbowl! But in all fairness, could this guy do any worse than Rayner?

Who's watching this weekend?
CodeMonkey replied to ThurmasThoman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You don't really believe that do you? They beat Tebow who most think is not a great QB, and a meaningless (at least as far as the playoffs) to the Pats is what the media would say and would focus on this seasons poor record and ChaNix's dismal 2 year record with the Bills. -
Refs are intentionally miscalling games
CodeMonkey replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That wasn't always the case. Some years ago they were pretending it was real. That's why it's "WWE" (Entertainment) now. I remember watching with my grandfather when I was probably 8 or 10 years old. I could see it was fake, but he reacted as though he thought it was real. Pretty funny. NFL players, particularly good QB's, make too much money for it to be fixed at all. A QB of a favored team could easily throw the game if he wanted too. A few overthrows of open receivers, and couple pic-6's and J'ai fini. But the cost to get that to happen by someone wanting to bribe the QB would be prohibitive. There aren't any other positions (other than maybe coaches) that could guarantee the result. -

My advice to you is to skip the sleep, keep drinking and power straight through the game. Much better option than being hung over! And yes I will be watching unless something better comes along. -
Chan's Record vs. Bellichick and Rex Ryan
CodeMonkey replied to GeorgeEdwardsTeeth's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My prediction is any Pat who is even a little dinged up sits the majority, if not the entire, game. The Pats won't show anything great, but might show a few out of character plays to try and force playoff opponents to waste time preparing for them. They won't want to get swept by the hapless Bills, particularly at home. So they will play good enough to win and not much more. I expect Spiller to have another good game statistically, possibly > 100 yards if Gailey doesn't abandon the run at halftime. I expect the passing game to look pedestrian again. Pats by 10 or less. -
Not good enough. No reason to burden the health care system because of a persons choice to put a carcinogen into their body. I have no problem with people smoking in an area away from me as long as they pay for their own treatment for anything caused by smoking now or in the future out of their own pocket. If they can't afford treatment, then they die.

With the injuries will they let Jasper play

And one squashed Marcia. Half an hour. -
That's way more disgusting to see than smoking is. Can't do that because they make money off of alcohol sales. I agree with this one point. A smoking ban should be a ban for everyone, not just some of the people.

Were we watching the same game? Except for Spiller the Bills O didn't do ****. The Bills won because of 2 scores by the D (and good D in general), 1 by the kick returns (and very good returns in general), and the zebras being very pro Bills (McLovin stepping out of bounds on his TD return and the Broncos TD return being called back on a phantom block in the back as the big ones). The O was pedestrian at best. And my opinion is that the "Tebow sucks" chants made me embarrassed to be a Bills fan, and came through loud and clear on the TV a couple times.

Bill's have a chance against Denver
CodeMonkey replied to VirginiaMike's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sure did! Defense had a very good game. Kick returns had a great game. Spiller played well. Even the zebras favored the Bills today! -

CodeMonkey replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm not a believer that the refs are fixing games, but the zebras sure showed the Bills some love today! -
I will be at game with Mr Larry and JoeFerguson

On ESPN only 1 guy picked the Bills. The Bronco D is pretty good and is the real reason they have been winning. Tebow is good enough between passing and running to have a good day against the Bills D. I'd be very surprised if the Bills won.
