  1. 1) I do not recall ever reading where anyone said to get rid of him at all costs. 2) As for myself, I think they should resign Johnson if they can, but it doesn't make sense to overpay yet another player.
  2. Because someone is wiling to pay him.
  3. I do. But only until my youngest get cell phones.
  4. That's merely a blip. As a sound businessman he will look at the bottom line after the season is over and smile at the tidy profit he made. Remember, he has no debt load like some other owners have with their mega-stadiums to pay for. 24000 unsold means about 50000 paid for, right? Money in the bank.
  5. There is nothing wrong with the books right now. Ralph made a tidy profit last season and I suspect he did this season as well. He probably prefers the other old adage, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."
  6. But at least Sexy Rexy shows up when he is supposed to.
  7. Not true, he has Stevie Johnson, according to a lot of people here a true honest to God #1 WR deserving of a big contract. Remember? /sarcasm
  8. Hmmm yeah forgot they had Mallett. They could very well want some live reps for him. And who better than the Bills D at home for that.
  9. I can see it happening given the embarrassing loss earlier in the season. Were I the Bills owner, I'd let the D know that if the pats are up by a bunch late in the 3rd and Brady is still in there trying to score, I'd pay any late hit fines on Marcia (as long as they were vicious and with intent to injure).
  10. Career: P. Manning: TD - 399 INT - 198 Rating - 94.9 T. Brady: TD - 296 INT - 114 Rating - 96.4 K. Orton: TD - 79 INT - 55 Rating - 79.7 J.P. Losman: TD - 33 INT - 34 Rating - 75.6 T. Edwards: TD - 26 INT - 30 Rating - 75.4 R. Fitzpatrick: TD - 66 INT - 61 Rating - 75.3 So yeah, at least statistically speaking he is that bad.
  11. Where does the Stache fit into this puzzle? "Assistant HC" is a title to appease him. At camp at least, and I have to believe all season as well, he was all about the D. Anyone who demands Edwards be fired should be wanting Stache out as well IMO.
  12. I'd make the odds 50/50 that Gailey resigns after this year.
  13. Some believe if they complain about the team, stop buying merchandise (or buy it from China), or stop buying tickets that the team will move. And that is the paradox they are caught in. To them it is better to have a perpetually ****ty team than no team at all. So they bend over and "Billieve" that next year is the year it turns around.
  14. Seems to be the mantra of the Bills organization, "next year". Out of curiosity, last year about this time did you think there would be big improvement this year?
  15. I think it is more likely that Gailey retires after this season than he is fired.
  16. I've been thinking that as well. He looks like a beaten and battered old man lately. Wouldn't surprise me at all if he calls it a career after this season.
  17. This! Colston for 10 over SJ for 9 is a no brainer. Getting Colston and keeping SJ for 6ish would be ideal. Only issue would be Fitz getting the ball to Colston accurately. He can hit SJ on the short stuff fine, but we all know how he is deeper. Well the only issue other than convincing Colston to come to Buffalo in general, and with Fitz as the QB is particular.
  18. I would agree with this. I don't recall seeing him give up on any other balls.
  19. I agree, the job is his if he wants it next season. Although watching Gailey the past month he looks like a tired, beaten, old man. He could resign not from disgust as much as just not having the will to continue. He will be 60 on January 5th after all.
  20. Three good things i can say about the game are: 1) Spiller didn't suck. But have to temper than with the fact that it was Miami. 2) Can't remember his name, but whoever was returning kicks had a couple nice ones. Almost broke a couple of them. 3) It is over and I never, ever, have to watch that piece of **** game again.
  21. Oh I am not saying Fitz didn't deserve the INT for putting up a jump ball like that because he clearly does. Just saying it would be nice to have seen Johnson care about it being intercepted before it was instead of just bitching to a referee after it was. You are almost right. They both are to blame. Fitz for throwing such **** and Johnson for not giving a ****.
  22. Sweet deal for Fitz. He could retire with a $13.22M golden parachute.
  23. Personally if we given a do-over, I'd take the 2010 draft.
  24. No issue with Johnson putting no effort into getting it, or at least preventing it from being intercepted? T.O. would have been (and was if memory serves) tarred and feathered for that.
  25. Johnson gave up on that pass to be sure. Made no attempt to get it at all. He was bitching to the ref after about a non-existent push off to cover his mistake. Number one receiver worth a big contract indeed.
