Bills 2nd worst team to play for---player poll

My wife and daughter. They are avid skiers so Florida is at the bottom of their most desirable places to live. But I would take the occasional blizzard or ice storm over a hurricane any time. -
Bills 2nd worst team to play for---player poll
CodeMonkey replied to Tyrod's Tailor's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They asked 100 players so I would assume 3 from every team plus a few bonus players. But who knows. -
My wife will be disappointed. She liked his story as well and was looking forward to cheering for him Thursday.

Except that the status quo will be accepted. Boos or no boos, there are a lot of Bills fans that will buy their seasons, merch, etc. no matter what, just so long as they stay in Buffalo. The status quo has been accepted in the only way that matters, on the bottom line, for the last 15 years of mediocre to terrible play. There is no reason for new ownership to expect any less from the fans. Hopefully though, the new ownership themselves won't be satisfied with the status quo.

Bills 2nd worst team to play for---player poll

Green Bay is on that list with 6% of the votes. No doubt it lowers if the team is a winner, but not likely to go away completely. -

Green Bay made that list with 6% of the votes? That almost has to be all weather and location, right? The Bills belong there. Between the area, the weather, and sucking badly for the past decade and a half I'm mildly surprised the Bills didn't beat out the Raiders for top honors. -

Tasker was a great Bill, but he sucks balls as an announcer. Only one worse is his partner. I'm sure he believed that just as much as in the 2nd half when he called for a defensive hold against TB and could not believe the zebras missed it. Repeated it a couple time. Horrible non-call. Then on the replay you could clearly see there was not even any contact at all, much less a hold. Unless they are telling a story about years gone by, you can't believe anything those 2 homer clowns say during a game. About play calling in the 2nd half changing. I can't say because I left the house at halftime and didn't get back until about the 4th I think.. But the Bills 1st offense came out against the Bucs 2nd defense from what I hear. So I'm sure the play calling changed, and changed again when the Bills 2nd's took the field. The offense played terrible in the first half. There is no harm or shame in anyone admitting that. It was glaringly obvious. Just deal with it and move on. -
Panic over a #2 QB? You are a lightweight. There are people here panicking over the #1 QB!

The Bills announced a sellout a few days ago so it should be on TV even locally.

This team is far better then SOME think

Yup I sure do. But the "dress rehearsal" game is the first time this preseason where the 1's will be in there together for at least a half, against the 1's of the other team instead of for a series or two while spending the rest of the game trying to figure out who to cut. This will be at least one concerted half of effort by both teams. If they light it up does it mean superbowl? No (thought no doubt you will see posts proclaiming that ). But it does indicate that the 1's are starting to get their **** together and are capable of playing quality football. If they fall flat, it doesn't mean the end of the world. But with the regular season only a few weeks away it doesn't bode well at least for the start of the season. -

True that. But not long to wait. Tomorrows game should give us a good indication of what this team really has. -
NFL Teams: Why so much transparency?
CodeMonkey replied to SageAgainstTheMachine's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
One team having a surprise advantage over another does not generate revenue for the NFL as a whole. The NFL wants information put out that will get fans involved, get them excited for the upcoming season, and therefore buy tickets and merchandise. Team A winning week 1 because of a surprise tactic does not make the NFL money. Good PR does. Same reason coaches are forced to talk to the press when a lot of them clearly do not want to. -
Yes it is. The Bills do a great job with this. Plus the major alcoholics tend to not go, or keep themselves under control for the sake of the kids. You and your kid will have a great time.

I wouldn't be quite so positive. Obviously the sooner the better from the perspective of both the trust and the NFL. But if the trust does not get a bid it likes under the current restrictive parameters they have created, I could see them doing a full reset and start again with newer, perhaps less restrictive, parameters. Remember, to us it is a football team that we follow. For the trust beneficiaries we are talking about potentially 100's of millions of dollars here. Not chump change to anyone.

Agreed about the NDA. All you have to do is put yourself in the position of the trust or the NFL and ask "would ______ (in this case, loosen or drop the NDA) benefit me". In this case, the answer is clearly no. I also agree with your $1B assessment. There is no incentive I can think of for Pegula or anyone else to go higher.

It's just me I guess, but in lieu of facts, I understand people who believe everything that is reported. And I also understand people who believe nothing of what is reported. But it's the pick and choose to believe some but not others that I don't understand. Like I said, just me. I'm sure it makes sense to you.

Ticketmaster NOT showing the game as a sellout for me. Note that I have resale turned off in this screenshot. But based on what others have said, someone must have agreed to purchase whatever is left.
