  1. Been very happy with Teller. As other posters who are much more knowledgable about the technical nuances of OLine have mentioned, I am tempering my enthusiasm based on previous hot streaks by young OLinemen who eventually regressed. He certainly looks the part though, and I've got my fingers crossed that he's a longtime starter. One of my biggest concerns for this offseason is that we will keep Castillo. He is god awful.
  2. Heck no. I look forward to these write ups. Keep it up Shaw.
  3. Good write up! A different game indeed.
  4. Truly awful. Good friend is from Jacksonville and we were both appalled with the refereeing.
  5. The box score from this game in particular really hid how well Josh did. Those back to back 3rd down completions, toss in the hail mary attempt and drop(s)...
  6. I agree that it's fair to question those numbers, but boy was today's game one where the stats buried the lede.
  7. I was happy with Josh today and thought he played well, with a lot of great throws buried by the OLine/Refs and drops, but this is a reasonable critique. I may not totally agree but at least it's a reasonable take!
  8. I saw a much better QB, and the refs and OLine did everything they could to take away from him. It wont show in the stats but he played quite well.
  9. Offensive personnel doing everything in their power to make him fail. The back to back 3rd down conversions to Thomas and McKenzie that were wiped out were both fantastic plays. So effing frustrating.
  10. I am just floored by this. What the hell was Carolina thinking?
  11. Damn that makes me feel old. Was a hell of a day, watched with my dad too. The Raiders comeback was also wild.
  12. Thought he did ok considering the scenario. He gets hit on that int, although I don't like the read either way. I am happy we have Allen, but the Rosen hate is absurd.
  13. Cinci fans were thanking the stars when Bodine left.
  14. To me, the scripted throws that were a product of Daboll's play calling were a large part of my excitement. The biggest knock on Allen coming out of school wasn't that he couldn't push the ball downfield or take the top off the defense, but instead that he was unable to stack up the routine throws, dump-offs, underneath stuff, etc. He excelled at those in this game. They weren't a part of his college ball, and he's had to learn how to temper the fastballs for these plays. I loved it.
  15. Benjamin. Groy. Secondary. and on and on.
  16. Like Drew Bree's what?
  17. I am so effing pissed about our OLine. Year after year the bills do this to me. We finally end up with an middle-of-the-road one and it immediately disintegrates in a single offseason. Why do we continually ignore it? I fully expect us to ignore it next offseason because why not.
  18. We need Stanford's model for mascots. Pick the drunkest intern, put 'em in a room with arts and crafts materials and an external frame backpack, and voila, that's your look for the next 9 months.
  19. Not surprised in the slightest. He's awful.
  20. Our LBs are a weakness. Wanted to see Edmunds perform better than he is. I have high hopes for him but I was optimistic for faster development. Another poster said this above, but he "leans in" when he shouldn't.
  21. It's the best I've experienced out here. Moving to Seattle in a month though!
