  1. Spillerwich - I'm sure, as a Bills fan, that you have NEVER wrote a negative post on TSW... My apologies...
  2. As long as ESPN doesn't recruit Justin Bieber to open MNF, I think I'll survive...
  3. I really hope that I'm wrong here, but I just fear like hell that this "drop" that never happened by Stevie on Sunday doesn't carry over the rest of the season like in 2008 after the Bills great start, when Adrian Wilson lit up Trent Edwards in the desert, sending our season into a tailspin. Hopefully, these Bills are above letting something like this bring them down the way that did. GO BILLS!!!
  4. 5.) FITZPATRICK'S ACCURACY - While I still believe in Fitzpatrick being the franchise QB of this team, it seems when Fitz faces a stiff pass rush, which he didn't face often in the first three weeks, he is very erratic. 4.) Avoiding the injury bug - I know, easy to say, even harder to do, especially for the Buffalo Bills. We've lost a game-changing punt returner (again) to IR, our best corner for god knows how long, our starting LT and a promising rookie CB. Seemingly, year after year, the Bills are at or near the top of the NFL in injuries. 3.) Backups need to produce when called upon - When the injury bug DOES bite, the depth chart needs to step up and respond. So far - SO BAD. Parrish goes on IR. BACKUP PR - C.J. Spiller: I don't exactly know what his average is on PR's, but it can't be good at all. He seemingly runs into tackles everytime he isn't fair catching the ball. Good NFL teams have good special teams that can change games. McGee injured. BACKUP CB - Leodis McKelvin: Oh, where the hell to begin with this guy. The guy that is the self-proclaimed "X-Factor" may very well be the worst cornerback I have ever seen. Not on the Bills, I mean EVER! A.J. Green made this guy look like he belonged on the 3rd string of an XFL team. Bottom line: Every team has injuries that they have to deal with, but the contenders have the depth to stay afloat throughout the season. 2.) Running the football more - Okay, so the spread offense worked for the first three weeks...when Buffalo wasn't facing a pass-rush. I can guarantee this, each and every week from here on out, teams will blitz the Bills more. When Fitz has time, he's great. When he doesn't, he's boarderline terrible! And Cincinnati proved that yesterday. Add the fact that Demetrius Bell is banged up, and it could get real ugly real quick. Eventually, the Bills need to try to run more to set-up some play action. 1.) Establish a CONSISTANT pass-rush - How long has this been an issue? The last credible pass-rusher the Bills had was Bruce Smith. And by credible, I mean someone that opposing teams had to game-plan around. Yet, the Bills fail to address this need every-single year seemingly in this playoff drought. Say what you will, but this, besides QB play, has been the biggest problem this team has had in this 11 year span. Plain and simple, if the Bills do not find some way to rush the opposing QB, they are doomed...AGAIN!
  5. McKelvin CANNOT/WILL NOT be able to cover neither DeSean Jackson nor Jeremy Maclin. Something needs to be done. Hope we get McGee back soon, because McKelvin was more to blame for the loss yesterday than the officiating.
  6. ...take a look at the mess the Jets are leaving on the field in Baltimore right now...
  7. I doubt highly that Reid wants Vick running around too much with a bum-hand and after having a concussion prior to that. And, being 1-3 and having Mike Kafka as the next option spells disaster.
  8. ...Fitzpatrick was secretly wearing lingerie under his ripped jersey today?...Awkwarrrrrrd! (Sorry, just trying to lighten the mood... :/)
  9. Wait...you mean to tell mean Professional Wrestling is SCRIPTED?!?!?! You mean to tell me I spent $39.95 on a PPV tonight that's not even REAL! Boy, this day sucks even more now!...What's next, you gonna tell me that there is no Santa Claus???? WTF?! I knew Earl Hebner secretly snuck into Paul Brown Stadium today, threw on the NFL referee shirt, just to do the Bills in like he did Bret Hart in 1997 in Montreal. All we need to say now is "Buffalo screwed Buffalo"...
  10. While I join alot of Bills nation in trying to stomach this bitter pill we were dealt with today, I have to say the next few weeks will tell just how "for real" the Bills are. I'm not about to join in on everybody jumping off the cliff in saying the Bills all-of-a-sudden stink again, or "same old Bills". Look, even during the glory days of the '90's, with all of the Bills' dominance from 1990-1993, the Bills had letdown games and the next week they would come back and rip off 4 or 5 wins in a row. In fact, usually when the Bills lost games in those days, some weren't even close! I can recall a few Monday Night road games back then against Kansas City and Pittsburgh on the road where the Bills were embarrassed on national television. So I'm not gonna sweat this loss. In fact, it kinda doesn't surprise me. The Bills put so much into ending "The Streak" last week, that they did exactly what I was afraid that they would do this week. This team looked flat out SPENT! Fitz' throws were erratic, the o-line faced a good defense, for a change and the entire team looked like they were sleepwalking for most of the game. Buffalo looked straight up tired. The thing is: There's going to be games like this. Another thing: This isn't going to be the only game the Bills play a "flat" game. Flat-games are the same as close games: You have to find a way to win them. The Bills weren't going to go 16-0. Speaking of which, even during the Patriots 2007 campaign when they did just that, they had to win games just like this to accomplish such a feat. The next five games will tell the story about the 2011 Bills. Are they a team like Jim Kelly's Bills in the '90's that can come back, be resilliant, and be considered as a genuine threat all year after taking one on the chin...or, are they like the 2008 Bills, who took one on the chin after a 4-0 start (literally, see: Trent Edwards meets Adrian Wilson in Arizona) and completely fell apart. Were all about to find out...
  11. Well, clearly there's a reason why the Bills haven't played him. If you remember correctly, Buffalo rushed the Spiller pick to the podium at the draft like he was the greatest thing in the world. Since being drafted, I really only recall a handful of plays that C.J. has made since being drafted. When you get picked in the top 10 of the NFL draft, you should be starting, and there's a reason he's not, me and the guys who posted this aren't the only ones who think something needs to change with Spiller, obviously Chan Gailey does as well. I dont believe Gailey "rushed" to draft Spiller 9th overall to be a situational scat-back who doesn't produce or rarely plays. Say what you will, but Spiller will be traded eventually if he doesn't turn it around.
  12. With the way we've fallen behind the last two weeks (outscored 42-13), maybe for once we should try to strike first! Take the ball.
  13. Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis, in a press conference guaranteed (in so many words) a Bengals victory: "We're early in the year," Lewis said. "We've got a lot of season ahead of us. And you know, at the end of the week when we're 2-2, there's going to be probably the other third of the league is going to be in the same situation." I don't know about the rest of you, but this kinda makes me feel a little better about Sunday. If the Bills were overlooking Cincy this weekend, they now have a reason not to and hopefully will throw this bad-boy on the bulliten board.
  14. Have any of you guys disagreeing with this post actually WATCHED CJ Spiller run the football?...
  15. I will admit that playing with a broken rib and a punctured lung is pretty damn tough, but I do agree that ESPN and other networks need to lay off the Dallas *%@^-riding and focus on other teams a little more, not just "America's Team".
  16. In 2003, after the Bills started 2-0 (31-0 over NE and 38-17 over Jax), the Bills were 1st in just about every Power Ranking...they finished 6-10. Its good to feel love, but these rankings mean nothing.
  17. Just a thought I'd like to throw out there. With the success Freddie is having plus the inevitability of a new contract, added to the fact that Spiller rarely even plays, and, when he does, does not produce as a RB or WR. I think the Bills should try to deal Spiller to a team in dire need of RB help (Denver, Chicago, Cincinnati come to mind) and see what, if anything, we can get in return draft pick wise. Perhaps if Spiller got a chance as a starter elsewhere, maybe he could turn into something. Just a thought.
  18. Woody Paige was just on Around The Horn and started the show off by calling the Bills a "Minor-League team" and that Brady should be embarrassed that he let the game slip away to such a team. The other- Colin Cowherd, as usual. Saying the Bills played the Worst team in the NFL in Kansas City and an Oakland team who had to play on a short week and travel to the east coast. Cowherd then went on to say Oakland has a better shot at the playoffs than Buffalo because they have a more favorable schedule than the Bills (which I suppose is true)... But is it so hard to give the Bills some damn credit? They just beat probably the best team in football. Just venting...
  19. LMAO! I absolutely LOVE it! I knew, as soon as I posted this, that (INCREDIBLY) there would be people on here to actually defend Belichick just for the spite of disagreeing with a post. Hey Boneheads: THE GUY IS A POORSPORT! People who disagree and belittle people on a forum just to do it are really pathetic! WOW...Just WOW.... ARE YOU SERIOUS??????????? REALLY????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  20. ....................................................what?......I'm just waiting for someone to disagree with THIS post just to get their rocks off.............come on, I'm talking to you 35 year old unemployed guy who lives in his mom's basement........................................................
  21. I will give the devil his due, Bill Belichick is right up their with the greatest coaching legends in NFL history along with the likes of Bill Walsh, Chuck Noll, and Vince Lombardi. But can this JACKASS EVER take a loss like a professional? Yesterday's temper-tantrum on the sideline that cost him a time-out at the end of the game is something he should be completely embarrassed about. And the infamous "Drive-by Handshake" postgame is getting to be a bit of a habit in post-Patriot losses. If I remember correctly, Belichick didn't even attempt to shake Tom Coughlin's hand after SuperBowl XLII, maybe I'm wrong. But I do remember the presser following that game and he barely answered any of the reporters questions! For all of the Patriots accolades, this team, and their leader, are bona-fide C R Y B A B I E S!!!! %@*& YOU BELICHICK! GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
