One thing we can agree on, Hernandez is a complete fool. Another thing, he is a dangerous fool in every sense of the word and the world is a safer place with him in a locked room forever. Ok let's hope for the best, agreed. Just saying that concussions are not the same type of injury as for instance an ACL. Concussions can and do become more frequent and with less impact each time. And they leave you with shaky hands long afterwards, the medical impact can be lifelong and progressive. Kolb may well have 5 great seasons left in him, who can say. Seems like a big risk though and if we count on him to be our reliable back-up, don't be shocked when he is such for a very short period of time. Maybe Painter will be avail then to back up Tuel.

if we start him in the season opener, it is likely his last game as a Bill. An OL that is still gelling will not be able to give him 100% protection, and he is CONCUSSION-PRONE. those happen more and more easily as you get them. It won't take an Adrian Wilson hit, just a good knock of head to turf, he is done. it is not if but when. He has already had many games off due to concussion symptoms, he should retire, really, or he is going to be Cassius Clay by the time he is 50. I don't dislike the guy at all. I just like the Bills better and think we would be ar better off with a guy whose head is not broken.

how many games has Kolb actually started in his career? he not so much of a 'veteran' actually, he mostly sat on the bench. as soon as he goes out someone cracks his head and he is out for many many games, usually the rest of the season. i do not understand how we got saddled with this guy.

we had a qb who was concussed before, never played well after, Trent. Kolb is a concussion away from being out of the league. we should be looking for someone else now, as when we need to depend on Kolb, he will get injured in his brain again. anyone remember the Livingstone "coconut head" Bramble fight at the Aud years ago against Boom Boom Mancini? We need a guy like that.

There must be some sort of blanket medical that covers them I am sure. In fact if you are going to get cut anyway maybe better to get hurt and get a 'injury settlement', as well as your medical covered.

McGee conducted himself properly, as a player and as a Bill. Stand-up guy. Even when one of our coaches Jerry Gray scammed and defrauded him and he had to sue Jerry, he was civil and correct about it. We should be so lucky as to have a roster full of T McGees.
