  1. I'd be thrilled with this draft (although I prefer Wilson to Jones).

Yes, I would also much prefer Tyler Wilson over Landry Jones. I doubt Wilson lasts until the second round, however, after the senior bowl, pro-day workouts, combine, etc... In my opinion, Tyler Wilson is a more complete prospect than Jones....or Barkley for that matter. Tyler has all the tools...just plays on a REALLY crappy Arkansas team.

I'd rather see a CB or another LB in RD 3. I think the D-line is set especially at D-End.

Agreed....I'd prefer the best LB available, or even a safety over a 4-3 DE. I think we're pretty set at that position.

  2. I dont think theres really a point in drafting 2 QBs this year.. maybe one this year and one in 2014. If you draft 2 this year then you aren't instilling very much confidence in the guy whose drafted first.

I think it's more of a reflection of not having confidence in our current back-up QB's.

  3. Glennon.

Has all the arm strength you would ever want, and is of ideal size for a NFL QB, his decision making skills and accuracy on his throws are highly erratic. I wouldn't touch him in the first half of the 1st round. Although, if the Bills drafted a stud LB in the 1st, I would be thrilled with a trade-up to grab Glennon.

  4. Not to sound insensitive but I've had coaches do just as bad if not worse. And sometimes it's needed to get the players attention.

I've had some pretty rough coaches too, but this jerk went waaaaaay over the line. He basically told 5 of his golfers that they were worthless, with no chance of improving. Good motivational tactics.

  5. Do they even have room to sign another for 2013? Is Jimmy counting on multiple guys leaving for the NBA

They do have room for one more, and it's my understanding that they have someone specific in mind. I think they are counting on a couple of players (MCW, DC, RAK, Fair) leaving early for the draft.

  6. Have you been watching this year? He's been a top 5 safety. He definitely needs to be a priority. That said, they can franchise tag him as a safety and it only cost $6 million. Then, they can work on a longer deal. Byrd will definitely be a Bill next year. The Byrd is a ball hawk.

    Yeah...every snap of every game.

I believe his second interception in Arizona set up the game winning field goal

Exactly, the guy has played 2 good games this season....Arizona and now Miami. I love Byrd, but other than those two games, he's been virtually invisible.

  7. where did you see this???

If I told you I'd have to kill you. I have some "inside sources" who know people and follow college BB recruiting very closely. I'm not saying it's a done deal, but be sure to be watching ESPNU at 7:00 pm ET for Tyler Roberson's announcement. I trust my sources.

  8. Or just piss in the shower.

Oh yes, always if I'm going right from bed to the shower. This really pisses my wife off because she can smell the piss while she's doing her hair/make-up. I really need my own bathroom. In desperate situations, I have even been known to piss in the kitchen sink.

  9. I can't fathom how Christmas or Coleman are anywhere near ready for the NBA but Harris and Melo left early so who knows. Fair, if he puts together a spectacular season and MCW only if he gets some bad advice, would leave early.

I think by the end of the season, both CJ Fair and MCW will be "getting some bad advice." I doubt Christmas leaves early due to his lack of offensive game, and we'll have to see about DC.

  10. In other Cuse recruiting news....Noah Vonleh committed to Indiana over the wekend, and Tyler Roberson is expected to commit to Villanova by week's end. Would have been nice to bring in another strong PF for 2013, but by all accounts, we still have a shot at Jermaine Lawrence (2013 5 star PF) who will announce in the spring. Depends a lot on which (if any) players leave for the draft after this year (i.e., Rak Christmas, CJ Fair, Dujuan Coleman, MCW).

The biggest prizes left out there are recently reclassified Andrew Wiggins (2013 SF, #1 overall prospect) and Dakari Johnson (2013 C, #12 overall prospect). I really think we have a decent chance at landing one of them.

  11. Hammersticks - see what I meant about the shooting in today's game?

Yeah, You were absolutely right. I don't recall this being as much of a factor last year with UNC vs Mich St. In any event, the game was a complete sham, and these aircraft carrier games should NEVER happen again. Especially a top 20 matchup!!
