  1. Last year I was all for defense....

This year...we need an explosive wr and a high caliber TE

All about getting an explosive WR opposite SJ13 (i.e., Michael Floyd), but I don't see the need to draft a "high caliber" TE in the early rounds. Even if Chandler is not re-signed, I think we can bring in someone through free agency (i.e., John Carlson or Visanthe Shiancoe) who could step in right away and make an impact.

  2. Just curious as to why many on here are against Crick, If we could suddenly Add JJ Watt to our team who would turn that down? I think Crick and JJ can both play 43 END on the left side and Crick is constantly compared to him. There are plenty of big, fast WRs in this draft, big PRODUCTIVE ENDs are much harder to find.

I don't know dude....not saying that Crick would be a terrible pick in the 2nd round, but let's not get crazy and put he and JJ Watt in the same conversation.

  3. Yeah, but nobody is buying that Wright is that slow. Just sayin'

He may not be as slow as his combine 40 would suggest, but do you actually think he is a more polished WR than is Michael Floyd? The fact that you're deeming Floyd a "possession receiver" is just silly. He is so much more talented than that...and IMO, he is more of a deep threat WR than Kendall Wright. He can do it all.

Not saying that Kendall Wright isn't a good WR prospect, but he is not even in the same league as Blackmon and Floyd.

  4. With all the chatter recently about the Bills possibly taking an OL with the #10 overall pick, I figured now was a good time to bring up this topic. Let's breakdown the Buffalo Bills offensive lineman that have been brought in under Nix' watch (this excludes Demetrius Bell, Eric Wood and Andy Levitre who were all already on the roster when Nix stepped in as GM).

    Chris Hairston. 6'6" - 330 lbs. - Drafted 4th round 2011.

Kraig Urbik. 6'5" - 324 lbs. - Claimed off waivers after being released by Pittsburgh on September 2010.

Erik Pears. 6'8" - 316 lbs. - Signed after being released by Jacksonville December 2010.

Chad Rhinehart. 6'5" - 321 lbs. - Signed after being realeased from Jets practice squad on October 2010.

Colin Brown. 6'7" - 326 lbs. - Signed off Ravens practice squad on December 2010.

Sam Young. 6'8" - 316 lbs. - Calimed off waivers after being released by Dallas on September 2011.

    Michael Jasper - 6'4" - 375 lbs. - Drafted 7th round 2011.

You raise a good point Estro. This is exactly why I could see them drafting a guy like Michael Floyd in round 1.

  5. I haven't seen him mentioned as "a deep threat". If they are gonna draft a WR with the 10th pick, I think it should be a home-run hitter, not a possession receiver. I don't think they are going to use the pick on a WR, but if they do, I would expect it to be Kendall Wright.

This is the one year that an OT would seem to be the best pick, by default. There don't seem to be any standouts (value-wise), at the positions that the Bills need DE, OLB, and WR.

Floyd ran a 4.47 40 at the combine....Kendall Wright's best time was 4.61. Just sayin...

  6. Alright guys we have beat this first round pick to death. So who do you guys want in the second round? I'm going for first round talent but probably seconder due to injury Jared Crick. He's a big DE that Dave is looking for at 6'4" 285 and has an equal rating for 43/34.

"For those who thought Crick’s production in 2009 might have been the result of playing alongside Ndamukong Suh...well, the strapping 6’4”, 285-pound defensive tackle had just as many sacks (9.5) in his junior year and two more TFLs (17) while dealing with a lot more double-teams. What stands out about Crick is his hand technique, which he combines with his considerable strength to bull rush opponents and turn them sideways. There’s no doubt that he’s good enough to be a first-round pick, but he’s not big enough to play inside, The bonus is that he has the hand skills to quickly disengage from his blocks." Draft Bible

Wouldn't be completely opposed to this....as long as we draft Michael Floyd or Jonathan Martin in round 1. If Ingram is around at #10, however, scrap Crick and take the best available WR in round 2.

  7. Hell yeah, but doubt he wants to go back to FB but he would take some wear and tear off FJ/CJ. We could use as the third back and FB cut the other RBs while keeping McTntyre and use them like Ravens did with Lorenzo Neal and Leron McClain a couple of years ago, SMASHMOUTH BABY!!!

Really? I'm not really worried about the "wear and tear" on Spiller. In fact, I'm most concerned that he isn't going to get enough touches next season. Adding Hillis to the mix would be like having a third testicle, when you already have two that are functioning properly, and one that is not getting enough "work."

  8. I've been wondering this myself. With his long arms, excellent strength, and athleticism I really think he could be a very good LT. Although, I agree that he is probably better suited to play RT or G. I think with his long arms and strength, he could overcome his lack of "edge speed" as scouts call it, with an initial punch off the line. He's send guys like Maybin into orbit...quick first step or not.

  9. While I was visiting a friend in Chicago a few years back, he took me to this house to see the front gate with the #23 on it. We got out of the car, and I was posing for a picture in front of the gate, when all of a sudden we were chased off by two of MJ's body guards. Got a great picture though

  10. Wow, I was in stitches all the way through Midnight in Paris. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

Yeah, I also really enjoyed Midnight in Paris. Thought Owen Wilson did a great job in his role. If you like this one, you'll probably like another recent Woody Allen flick called "Whatever Works" starring Larry David (Seinfeld Producer, Curb Your Enthusiasm).

  11. When I was in high school (in a small city in CNY), many of my friends had "relations" with the in-school-suspension teacher. She was also the assistant swim coach, was probably in her late 20's, and was pretty darn good looking. I never got the chance to partake, but I was told by my friends that she would invite 3-4 guys (usually guys from the football team) over to her apartment to have orgies with her and her roommate. This type of thing is probably much more prevalent than we can ever imagine. To my knowledge, she never got caught.

  12. I'm not necessarily a fan of doing this but seriously, what FA is going to want to come here with a Turnover machine @ QB and nobody in the wings?

The reason I'd be happy with a 2-1st's 1-2nd and 1-3rd trade (If that would be enough) for RG111 is that it would increase our odds of signing free agent wideouts.

I don't if I'm more frustrated with losing or more frustrated with the fans who are satisfied with being the laughingstock of the league. At least Polian had " a set" when the Cornelius Bennett trade was made.
