  1. A draft pick + Elam should have got this done in hindsight. There has to be more to it from GB point
  2. In cornerback years that's 37.
  3. back end CB's end up washing out in Miami who likes their two scrubs away from being washed has-beens. back end CB's end up washing out in Miami who likes their two scrubs away from being washed has-beens.
  4. I agree and disagree. If I say they aren't tough anymore it's all relative to what these guys used to do. I believe they don't play as tough as they used to play but also play a whole lot smarter. The hits they don't take now prevent them from long term injury. They training they do now is vastly different. Plyometrics, mobility, and versatility matter more than the shear power that was preached just 20 years ago. In fact, I bet if you took the average body fat and weight - both are down since 1995 I'd bet. These athletes today are in better shape and more finely tuned than ever before. Hopefully their quality of life improves because of it.
  5. Goo goo dolls Rick James Buffalo Springfield.
  6. Kosar for Cleveland.
  7. Eric Moulds. He is maybe top 40 of all time WR's. Bills fans like him but in his era he was absolutely dominant without premier QB play. He is 5 yards, 1 TD away from 10k and 50 TD's.
  8. Says the guy in HR. Narc!
  9. Some HR folks work from home and get high on company calls, too.
  10. I got a counselling for a girl crying at work. She yelled at me. I gray rocked and gave her no feedback or emotional energy and this made her upset as she lost her shizz. She cried. HR said I shouldn't have made her cry. People around said I was professional lol
  11. everyone has to ahve the most hot edgy take to get the most notice and that's all its about
  12. One of the best NFL sources of news is NFL radio on Sirius. Outside of the strictly players shows designed to talk with players in the league or recently out of it which has about all the average intelligence of a rock there are great shows, including with former players. There are few hot takes or people who look to have wild takes for interaction. Booger McFarland is a complete clown though.
  13. I was watching NFL Pluto TV and they're doing the top 10 games of the last 15 years or something like that in the bills Vikings game was number seven, and there was 200 bills games on there I believe. That was a great game as far as it goes if you're a Vikings fan. There was a lot of stupid calls including a weird fumble
  14. Belinda the term for a special pasta sauce made with pickle juice that was a favorite recipe of the site. In honor of how much we loved it back in the day we bring it up from time to time to honor pickle juice.
  15. I supremely believe Kelce is overrated. A system TE benefiting from Willford Brimley and Brittany Mahomes husband. I think his positives are his ability to sit down in open space and find green spaces. He also has good hands. I don't think he is efficient for running routes or being much more than a check down guy. He has been completely taken out of games far too often. They played the position and were at least able to chop block and chip. Kelce gets butthurt if he has to touch anyone.
  16. no. they did . they blocked. pretty good for a tight end too. awful young but yes. i liked him. i was hoping we didn't take kincaid and waited to get bowers last year. hell, if he was there when we got him in the draft i'd have taken him and traded kincaid.
  17. I wasn't t disagreeing with you. There are maybe 3 elite tight ends in the league that are difference makers. Thats the problem. The very good are not as good as they get credit for because the competition and equivalency is so watered down George kitttle, for example, is an elite TE but probably not even top 10 in the last 30 years. Same with Kelce. I don't know if one right end playing right now beats: Antonio Gates, Tony Gonzalez, Gronk, Shannon Sharpe, Vernon Davis and Greg Olsen are just off the top of my head. These guys blocked, ran routes, and didn't live in a super big passing league.
  18. While true, most tight ends also take time to develop though they only get to a decent starter quality. Not a premium starter quality. Kelce, for example, took time to develop and was/is over hyped for a tight end. He can't block and his window was small. Gronk at least blocked in his window and didn't go down in flames like Kelce will holding on to any like light.
  19. Fwiw I was there... when I asked for food they called them ***** "hoor" devours....terrible terrible name btw....but they were good. And that fancy lunchable tray, what the hell is up with that? The dumb chocolate fountain for s'mores?!? Where were the marshmallows? Those crackers weren't good for s'mores. I can't do this high class stuff anymore
  20. Thanks for dropping by, tootsie
  21. Woodson was playing CB at Freemont Ross HS. He was on the side nearest my team/sideline. He was either at the LOS to play man press or off the line of scrimmage - either way he stoned his WR and pancaked him with one check while back pedaling. The play was a QB option to the other side of the play. He ran across the field in traffic after back pedaling off the WR for at least 8-10 yards to force the QB to pitch the option and still ended up tackling the carrier for a 4 yard loss. he was literally that fast, that different. Another one i saw was a kid named DruShawn Humphrey. A sophomore (maybe freshman) as I was a senior. He was a commit to tOSU and would have been there as a freshman with Maurice Clarret to win the natty. He was absolutely insane when he had the ball. He wasn't afraid to run at any lineman and he was fast. He could truck anyone and make it hurt. Sadly, he had an enlarged heart and died going into his senior year playing pickup basketball that summer. there are some other elites i've had the pleasure of competing with and against but the stories don't stick out quite the same, Roethlisberger as a WR then QB, a couple of olympic runners, professional climberss, mlb pitcher... just amazing when you see the focus that an athlete can bring on top of their shear talent.
  22. isn't it amazing that some average joes think they can compete against athletes like this? sure, they stand a chance but the level of exceptionalism in these elite athletes is something most people have not witnessed. when you've been around enough athletes you recognize the special ones. when you see them in person you can recognize the stars. two examples of this in my life i have seen personally: Cael Sanderson as a senior in HS wrestling at Iowa (not ISU) during the summer offseason for training against a former NCAA champ while Dan Gable worked with them & Charles Woodson in high school ( i was at 8th grade)
