if not for the injury i'd take him over Lamar because of results when it matters. i think cousins could offer more to a team because of his ability to play the position. in reality, would i build a team around him over lamar, no. lamar is too good of an athlete. but in the nfl where all i need is a qulaity qb - i'd take cousins.

rapps ceiling is still potentially higher than poyers floor. but poyers floor is much higher than rapps floor. all things being equal poyer plays better than rapp. with good scheming it wouldn't have mattered to keep poyer we know what neal has and does vs. the unknown. neal's floor is no worse or better than rapps' -
see below somehow i find both are true on this. the bills are right to move on (and i think we get a replacement in the draft). but the bills should have kept him and let Rapp walk. I like Neal.

i fully expect Levi Wallace back. Surprised we let Jackson walk, though. Wallace got scapegoated in '21. I think we also save some of these conversions to bonus for the season to get money for injury signings.

i'd not pay that much for a safety. we have two outstanding linebackers, a decent pass rush, two viable corners, the safety position could be great for anyone young to come and want to earn a 2nd contract.
