  1. "Nix's job with the Chargers was to oversee both pro and college scouting and to be one of the main decision makers in each NFL Draft. Nix was a major reason the Chargers turned around from a losing football team to a rebuilt, winning team. In 2004, three players Nix drafted were selected to the 2005 Pro Bowl. In 2005, six players Nix drafted were selected to the 2006 Pro Bowl. In 2006, eleven players Nix drafted were selected to the 2007 Pro Bowl. In 2007, eight players Nix drafted were selected to the 2008 Pro Bowl."
  2. I love Buffalo too, just not blindly.
  3. This is a Bills fan site where Bills fans are criticizing Sanchez' abilities. I, as did others, reminded Bills fans that Sanchez under center for Jets beat us 5 out of 6 tries. I also stated that he did in fact, check his stats in those games, have something to do with it. Yes, Dilfer won a SB and I would have gladly played him over Kelly if it meant the Lombardi trophy was coming to Buffalo. My point: it's about WINS.
  4. Sanchez was guy under center for 5 wins vs Bills. He had something to do with it. The talk around NYC is that Sanchez' numbers in his first 3 seasons are much better than Eli Manning's were...so who knows? I would agree Jets are doing a dis-service by coddling him, not making him compete for job. The game we did beat them was a horrible performance by both teams.
  5. He'll be a marvel of modern science, just watch. Now if they could just do the same for Merriman.
  6. Eastbound and Down is terrible show and your hard-on for Kenny Powers is scary gay.

  7. Having more points on the board than your opponent at the end of the game wins championships.
  8. Gilbride and Fewell...is it that they had superior talent, better head-coach to work with...?
  9. The Mansion on Delaware garnred Four Diamond & AAA status the past two years. It's ranked with some of the best in the country for service and amenities. If you haven't been there check it out. It's not even that terribly expensive. Throw a tie on, or not, and have a drink in the billiards room some night before a Sabres game. The staff treats everyone as though they're royalty, no need to feel like you don't belong. And also, F#@k Brady. Tuck and Pierre Paul are gonna frustrate the hell out of him just like Strahan and Mitchell did 4 years ago.
  10. When we let Dorenbos leave I knew there'd be trouble. I mean c'mon, Sanborn doesn't even use Twitter...wtf?! My link
  11. Arthur Moats' lone play of the year is in there too! My only beef is not enough Brady.
  12. Ugh, Just so long as T. Pegs doesn't sob at first sight of Joe DeLamielleure...
  13. Major says: "Talking about Whitner feels like beating a dead horse. " Duh...
  14. I can already hear the grumblings amidst the celebration and I'm tuning them out. This game was a minor salve on the wound that is our busted season but nevertheless it's a win, a big win, a big win over the most talked about player in sports right now. It's a home-win, a home-win for the faithful at the Ralph and those who watched with family and friends on a sunny winter Saturday. It's a win that showed the potential of some young players, the re-emergence of some vets and just may prove that CJ is not a bust. Spare us the talk about how it's "too little too late" or our "declining draft position" or whatever. Save the Bah-Humbugs for another day. Happy Holidays to all.
  15. Hansen: You must be part of 1%. That's cool, I didn't know we had any millionaires here.
  16. You're done with what exactly? Gimme a break, you're like the rest of us: We shut off the TV before the horror-show officially ends, walk around a bit wondering what to do with rest of day, swear we're not going to read any of the news about this game...then a bit later we cool down, find ourselves on TBD looking for someone who feels like we do, then we start calculating (Hmmmm, we could still go 10-6, that's realistic, right?)...and so on.
  17. I wore my best Bills long-sleeve T to and from the gym for three days prior to Sunday. I had to throw that nasty f*@cker in the dirty clothes bin and couldn't wear it today. Also, we sucked.
  18. Why did I click on this? I wish I knew how to make one of those head-bashing-against-the-wall things.
  19. JayBaller what's up?

You still watching some games at Bonnies?

I met you there a couple seasons ago. I've been switching between online streams and the Red Star bar (BIG Bills contingent) in Greenpoint.

    Anyway, hope you're well.

    Peter

  20. Does anyone really think this guy sounds like a worthwhile potential owner? Sounds like a bad risk to me.
  21. When you're in NYC grab a beer and fly the flag at Kelly's on Avenue A near Houston St. It's a true Bills/Sabres establishment and they'd love to see you.
