Quinn and Green are probably the two best players in this draft. Fairley and Dareous are difference makers. And Von Miller is one helluva football player with immeasurables off the chart. He might make the most immediate difference for us. I am not sold on Peterson or Prince. Neither has shown me the game changing abilitys of the aforementioned. Scouts drool over Peterson's size. Give me Von Millers production over Peterson's potential any day of the week

with some consideration for Fairley and Dareous. If we draft any other player with the 3rd overall selection- we screwed up yet another first round draft. I have faith in Nix that he will not screw up this draft, unlike most every other draft since halfway thru John Butlers tenure

Kevin Williams would do wonders for our run defense. Are you referring to Kyle Williams? And what is up with posters that do not know our players names? Who the hell is B Troupe?
-
Hate it. DeMarcus Love sucks. I am sick of drafting CB busts. Cutting Parrish makes zero sense. Signing Harris is a pipe dream and not so "realistic". We our 32nd against the run and did little do improve front 7. I do admit though it is a good plan if you want to secure first pick next year for Andrew Luck
-
Ben Troupe? Is he making a comeback. I know we are hurting at TE but Ben Troupe is not the answer
-
I would hate that pick more then I hated the Maybin, more then I hated the Whitner pick, etc. Seriously this team is in dire need of talent, we cannot !@#$ up the 3rd pick(which is pretty near impossible, but the Bills have a knack for screwing up high draft picks)

Good Scouting Report on DE's in the draft
Pete replied to box0life's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would be ok with Quinn, Fairley, or Green with the 3rd pick. Miller, Dareous, Newton wouldn't make me nauseus if selected them at 3. Any other selection at 3 would make me vomit -
Asked for a scouting report on Miller, NFL Network’s Mike Mayock was effusive in his praise of the 6-foot-3, 237-pound linebacker’s pass rush ability: “Two words,” said Mayock. “Defies. Gravity. Bends parallel to the ground. This guy comes off the edge and it’s scary how quick he gets to the quarterback. In my notes from the season, I had the word ‘wow’ written (about Miller) more than any other player.”

I have had 4 Ipods, 6 Iphones(3 Apple made me pay full price over $500 each time), and a 27" Imac. My Imac needs a new logic board and power supply. I bought it in 2007. Apple logic boards are over $1000, and the power supplys have been a problem on G5s and cost $85. That is before labor. I called Apple and spoke with a senior manager, and asked if they could subsidize any costs. I explained my loyalty to apple, and that I am purchasing a new phone this next month. He said "I should of bought the extended warranty". This infuriated me and I stated that Apple should return the loyalty that I have given them. I added that Apple is a company that tries to portray itself as forward looking and green. And that Apple makes it cost prohibitive to make repairs to machines- they make it so it so that it forces you to buy a new Apple product. He said that was true to some degree and used a term something like "older machine obsolecence". I explained how much oil it takes to make a silicon chip and that is shameful if this machine just gets tossed. He said "well on the apple sight there is a part which shows where do drop off your older machines". "Older machines- this if from October 20007". Apple has gotten away from what made them great. !@#$ Apple. I am buying the new Thunderbolt phone next month! It feels good to ween myself off Apple Oh yeah, anyone want to buy a 27" G5 Imac? I upgraded memory and dropped a 2TB harddrive in it. It needs a power supply and logic board

I echo all the Bill Bryson recomendations. He is one of my favorite authors and I have read every book he has written. Always informative and witty. I often find myself lauging out loud when I read his books

Hi, I am into photography and all done with apple products. Would anyone like to buy Aperture 2, Photo Shop elements 6, and I will include and a book on Aperture 2. Best offer gets them. I am going back to PC's, dumping the iphone for the Droid, and dumping ipod for zune or archos! Good riddance Apple. You lost a tech junkie client for life!

Great minds think alike- Mankins would be my number one free agent target. Move Wood to center. Bell-Levitre-Wood-Mankins is 4/5 of a very good offensive line David Harris, Soloil, Zack Miller would be my three other top targets. I would definetly add one FA LB at the very least, and I would get a real TE here. My draft board would be 1- Fairley, 2- Bowers, 3- Green. If Fairley was off board I would attempt to trade down and stockpile picks. I really like Cameron Heyward if we trade down. If Fairley is off the board and I could not find a trade down partner, I would draft Green. Hardly a top priority, Green is that good that I would pull trigger. I would devote every other pick to defense- especially front 7, with the exception of offensive tackle depth I would cut Maybin, sign Whitner to a realistic contract, and regign Poz and Florence.

I am shocked donte whitner is not on it /sarcasm

Very interesting comment in PFW Whispers re: Lee Evans
Pete replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We dont need to worry about saving money- we need to worry about getting quality players. Lee is a bargain at $4million and it is bout time we sign some big time players. And I too will vomit if we trade away another number one for a 5th round pick. Quickly off the top of my head Lee might be the only decent first round pick the Bills have made this millenium so far -

he needs to learn routes better too -
I myself prefer working out at home. It is much cheaper. All you need is a pullup bar and some dumbbells. You get to play your music, go to your fridge for something cold to drink, and I myself get easily distracted by pretty girls- I get my workout a lot quicker at home. Pilates, P90x, Probodx, Yoga DVDs are all solid and require little initial investment
-
I have to admit that took me a minute to get it. I was thinking while we are rewriting history and being oversensitive pussys we can substitute " had a party with" for "at war with", "misunderstood and under medicated" for "ruthless tyrant" and "at home with" for "conquered". We could sanitize everything

Huck Finn is anti-racist. Twain is one of my heros and very progressive. This Twain quote was my signature for years- "Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one’s lifetime" While we are erasing history we can keep that eraser out and erase all past transgressions from the history books. One thing I learned about history is that man does not learn from history
