Both. Four SB losses are our past. And we are winning the SB this season. These two events are not mutually exclusive

Yes it does. Money underneath cap can be carried over to next year I beleive. So we would gain $4.75 in cap room next season. We need to sign Bradham, Gilmore, and Glenn to and will need every penny to do so. Cutting Cassel is a no brainer IMO

$4.75 million for a 3rd string? I dont see it. Cut Cassel and give his money to Dareus

Yes. He won a national title already. Not to mention he is 6'5 249, runs a 4.93 and can throw a football 80 yards

There is 21 cuts to get us through week 1 with Dareus suspension. Goodwin to IR if eligible opens up another spot. And Leodis to IR if he is still not ready for the next 4 games or so. And Carpenter is on the verge with Rex. If he is cut, and we add another kicker, that would open another spot up- see you Gay.

Who helped themselves to make team? Who made their case for being cut? Ryan said this game was important for 4 or 5 players. Bryce and Ron Brooks played great

I am fairly confident that Tyrod and EJ will be solid QBs for us the next 5 years. So maybe we don't need to reach for a QB. Right now I would target oline in next years draft

That has to happen. Right now there is so much raw emotion. And Fred alluded that Whaley wasn't honest with him. He is taking this very personal, as would I. Time will cool everything down. And I hope Doug extends an olive branch

Some of the easiest cuts are on oline. Most of us only have us carrying 3 tackles and 3 guards. It's a long season. We will need to find some backups on the line

They cut Smith, Reed, Thomas, etc....but added Ted Washington. Those Ted Washington defenses were some of the best in Bills history. Sometimes purging can bring upon renewal

I agree that Karlos showed that he can play that game. And that really put a monkey wrench with all our talent at RB. Someone had to go. And when you take emotion out of it, it makes lots of sense to cut Fred(age, cap relief, special teams). And perhaps it is the right move. It just sucks that it was an undignified end, for Fred, who has been pure class.

IMO it was not an impulse decision by Doug, How long did he know that he was going to cut Fred? He could of been stand up with Fred. Instead of sucker punching him. Terry stated that Fred would remain a Bill. Fred never saw Doug's axe coming. And Fred deserves better then that

I think you are real close. My guess is Red Bryant stays. I am not sure I would risk losing Matt Simms on the practice squad. If Tyrod got hurt, we would be in a real bind. Also, I think 1 of Steward and Reddick stay. We are thin at LB
