Char Siu Pork Belly and Roasted Duck in Chinatown. Canal St and Bleeker and Village arent too far away. I love the East Village and Lower East Side- thats where I tend to hang. Walking that neighborhood is like Music History. Theres the old CBGB site. Theres the Physical Graffiti Album cover building, Theres where Sid OD'd. Theres where Jimi lived. Theres where Dylan started, ETC Katz's Deli for a ginormous Reuben! Its is oldest restaurant in NYC Its a tourist trap that is well worth it. Im not sure where else in the world that you get a better Pastrami or Corned Beef Sandwich

My #1 NYC recomendation is early AM day drinking at McSorleys. The place is an institution. Oldest Bar in NYC, it was a Speak Easy during prohibition. Women were not allowed until the 70s. They serve 2 beers, light and dark. You order 2 at a time, and they are served in a steins. You can order cheese and crackers, and they give you a sleeve of Saltines. They have liverwurst too, and thats the menu. Its packed all day, all night. You sit community style at picnic tables, packed closely, with interesting people, locals and people from all over the world. Its a NYC museum packed with awesome photos and trinkets, such as Houdini's hand cuffs, and letters by Mayor LaGuaridia

Betty Davis giving a sultry Blues lesson. Triple shot of Funky, Sexy, Did Not Give A *****, Original, Untamed, and a force of Nature- Betty Davis - the Funky Betty Davis. Fun Fact- Betty was married to Miles Davis for a few years. She threw out Miles suits, and bought Funky, much Cooler clothes(Betty was a model in NYC for short bit-she had style!). She brought the Funk to Miles. He changed his look, and got funkier. Jack Johnson was the first Funky Miles album. Then Miles was recording Funky album, inspired by Betty Davis, and he called it “Witch’s Brew”. Betty said that’s square. Call it ***** Brew. And the rest was history. Betty Davis was very good friends with Jimi Hendrix(Betty probably gave Jimi style tips-she was hip. Miles Davis suspected Betty and Jimi having an affair. Beacause of this, Miles filed for divorce. Now Betty and was free and wild

Lalo was excellent composer, a long and great discography. RIP Lalo. 😢

I wonder if they both play in short yardage. Gilliam and Ingram are Bills best ST players imo. Gilliam usage increased late season , and in playoffs. Hawes, Brown, and Anderson all love violence. Bills are returning top 9 Offensive Lineman, from a talented and deep line. Adding Hawes really cranks up the nastiness!

I read that Poyer tried to come back to the Bills, but Beane told him “if you sign with Miami, you’ll never be a Bill again.” Poyer said Beane really meant that. He told Poyer Bills are going younger and more athletic Safeties. Poyer retired shortly after that conversation with Beane. Poyer said playing for Miami sucked. He said the Dolphins talk constantly about Buffalo being 0 for the 70s against the Fins. He said that he hated hearing that over and over. It was pathetic. Poyer said he loves the Bills

Rouseau, Benford, Shakir, Brown all signed very team friendly contracts. Knox is 100% Bills DNA. Knox will stay on team friendly deal imo. Thurman Thomas in Miami, or Poyer- did not look right. I cannot imagine Knox playing on any team except the Bills.

Before Bob Seger was doing corporate rock, The Bob Seger System is Poetic Rock and Roll

Knox will be a Bill for life. He will play as long as he can with Josh

Diggs, for one. RBs showed up in playoffs…..

Betty Everett is so under appreciated. If she was born a decade or two later, she would of been a huge star. You’re No Good is a Betty song. My love for 45s I’m always digging for Betty

Starter made the best sports jerseys and hats. New Haven CT was Starters home. They were hot for a couple years. Then they lost their sports licensing rights. I have a few Starter Bills hats and Hoodies, and a Starter Sabres sweatshirt, and they are sweet. My favorite Bills gear

Knox shows up for playoffs games. Some skill players should follow his example

Long live Rokkinrowl! Or even better stated on John Belushi’s tombstone on Martha’s Vineyard- “I May Be Gone, But Rokkinrowl Will Never Die! I Love the Blues, She Heard My Cry

Bills Score 3 TDs in 77 seconds. Sept. 30, 1990
Pete replied to Dan Darragh's topic in The Stadium Wall
It shows you the importance of special teams. Bills 90s had excellent special teams. It is a travesty that 89 is not in the HOF!
